When the Find X 2 comes out.
Wuxianlin knows how to unlock the bootloader.
But he isn't saying anything.

Actually, according to Wuxianlin in his qq group, it is possible to flash global rom to PFAM now. I will try it once I get bl unlocked.

Sorry. I am surprised this is the question.....
1. Download in depth application.
2. click all things you see.
3. If you get the information that the next available date is 15th next month then you are good.
4. Do whatever you want to your phone during the waiting.
5. You will get an update around 15th next month
6. update
7. unlock as any other phone.
Very confident with the process as nearly all the people in Wuxianlin's qq group have done with this process. And this might be reason why the quota for test ran out so fast.....

That was posted some time ago.
But some of us who have been logged in to Oppo I'd for longer than 60 days.
Still can't get the app to unlock the bootloader.
I get "failed to submit application" others do to.
No one at oppo will help us.

This is for some reason below:
1. you have reset your phone.
2. you have changed to public test
3. you have logged out your account on the phone
All these reason might lead to a reset of the log in days. And if you do any of them, the count will be reset to 0.
This is stupid.....

Unfortunately that is not possible. They do the request so that they can fetch your phone imei and such things and push the update which can only be used on your phone. We have tried to flash the update on a different phone and bricked that phone, that's the reason why no one posted the update again.....

Exynos OEM Unlock Quick Fix (Highly Recommend this to be Pinned)

BEFORE STARING ANYTHING... I'd like to give full credit to this post here, as these are the guys that have found this, i'm just making it spread out more to the public -

To make it easier to understand i'll be rewriting the steps as this has worked for me.
Let's say you had to go back to stock you flashed all the correct carrier stuff and correct firmware for your device, and you're one of the unlucky few of people that are affected by the OEM issue (Including me)
Step 1: Like i said literally just earlier make sure you have flashed the correct stock firmware for your device.
Step 2: Change the date 8 days prior to today (e.g Lets say it is 18/05/2018(AUSTRALIA TIME FORMAT) you would change it to the 10/05/2018(AUSTRALIA TIME FORMAT)
Step 3: Go to software update and check for an update, make sure the date "Last checked" is set to the date, you set earlier.
Step 4: Reboot (Not sure if needed)
Step 5: Change the date back to the actual date of the present day
Step 6: Check for another software update and make sure the "Last Checked" is set to the present day
Step 7: Go to Developer Options (Tap 7 times on build number...)
And now OEM Unlock should be present, this worked for me and has worked for other people.
Happy Flashing
P.S According to some reports instead of 7 days try 30 days may work may not have fun
What should we do if the OEM is unlocked but the KG is still prenormal?
Would be nice if you give some credits and post the original thread

Okay here is what I did. I downgraded to the 1 version lower than the current 1 then set the date back 8 days then proceeded with the software OTA update, after the update, it showed my last update check time as May 22 and last install update as May 22. I then changed the date back to automatic update date and time, restarted, checked updated againnlike 2 or 3 times and enabled developer options and OEM Unlock was there after 5 minutes.

Have you signed up for unlocking bootloader? If you have DO NO SWITCH!! If you logout, factory reset, swap to stable/beta/global your device factory resets and then your account is no longer eligible to unlock device. You then have to create a new miui account and start the wait all over again. I know because I went from global stable to global beta a week after I got device. When I reached the end of the wait period I found out that I screwed up and it ended up being over a month (two waiting periods) to unlock and move to miuipro (my favorite custom miui).

Until you are unlocked you can only use updater app. The pie global beta will install with app and I suggest pie over oreo.
I'm trying to get the pie beta but read that I have to be on the oreo beta first but can't find a link so can anyone link me to the oero beta thanks..

You could actually be the one to supply them.
Contact OnePlus support, and request a remote session to fix your phone. They should send you a link to the MSMDownload tools to download before the session. Just upload a copy of them.

I have this one actually 12.0.0 (SD1A.210817.036, Nov 2021) and system update is saying its upto date.
The .037 is the one with the fingerprint sensor update so I don't think it's a bad idea to update, however, I'm not familiar with how hardware from different regions are differentiated so the OTA may not play well with your hardware if it is intended for different regions.
It may be best to research independently or wait for a more informed person to chime in.

Yeah, I'm assuming there is some sort of region flag for Japan as it's required that phone cameras make a noise there. You'd have to find a way to change the flag I'm assuming.
Sorry, I was assuming that flashing the OTA would be a long-shot and should have mentioned that.

This is what he said:

You have to change the sku... It's a requirement for the shutter sound in Japan. So you have to basically truck the phone into thinking it's not from Japan..nothing else will work.. if you root you might be able to do that

Converting Japanese Pixel 6 to Global version
I live in a country with no Pixel availability and end up purchasing one in Japan. Limitations(mostly forced shutter and screenshot sound) on Japan phones can be pretty annoying, so I researched a bit on how to remove those. Search leads me to...
forum.xda-developers.com
Just want to confirm that changing Model ID to outside Japan make it work.
You need to unlock, root your phone, extract devinfo partition, replace the model id using hex editor, and re-flash (using dd command) to devinfo partition.

Question Samsung A52 how to bypass/remove google FRP

hello all, not sure if this is in the right section or not, if not i apologize. I am looking for some help with a samsung A52 for my father inlaw. Long story short His phone was factory reset and he can't remember his google sign in information only used the email for this google FRP and can't remember password or his security question (not sure how he can't remember any of these things but it is what it is now) hes not a very tech savy person. So we can't get past the sign in when booting up the phone from fresh factory reset.
Is there anything that can be used to bypass this google sign in? software hardware etc? I have seen software online advertising and if it costs a reasonable amount to do it that's fine but I was hoping for anyone with experience that can attest any of the software online actually works.
Thanks in advance for anyone's help

Boot in to download mode, and look at the software version. Then a simple search of the firmware will tell you the ui version.
