Audio recording quality - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello, I've got my Poco, coming from Samsung Note 5. Have been loving many aspects, but I have tried audio recording (with Recforge app) and the audio is very distorted and with a lot of treble. Auto gain is not working also, apparently.
Any way to tune recording quality? Thanks

[Q] Galaxy S3 [Audio in Video Recorder question]

Hi guys, did you notice the audio in the video recording of our Galaxy S3 having louder volume at the left side if you use a headset?
And also I can hear a small cracking sound at the right side during the video playback (Of the recorded video).
I tried the voice recording and there's no cracking sound at all. Is this an issue in the video recorder of our device?
TIA
Using an app called tape recorder I recorded some audio using the s2 and the s3. The results showed the quality of the mics were the same. The ****ty audio quality is only produced when recording video. this proves the hardware is ok. Just needs sorting in the app itself.
Just hope samsung have it on their list of things to fix.

record audio through camcorder mic

i can't seem to record audio through the camcorder microphone using any audio recording apps (i've tried easy voice recorder, recforge and field recorder) though the sound is fine through that microphone when i record video using the camera.
when i use an audio recording app, the sound through that microphone is just garbled, glitchy mess. i get the same results whether i record in stereo or mono, and in both stock rom and custom roms.
i used to use my old i5800 as a sampler all the time using easy voice recorder, and never had problems.

Stereo recording

Anyone tried to record sound in stereo with Galaxy A6+ ? On my previous Android, Note 4, I used to use Hi-Q to record sounds of nature (birds) and other life sounds. Always in stereo 44kh.
But now, even though Hi-Q says I'm recording in stereo, the recorded sound is mono. I've tried all options, and many recording apps, and the result is always monophonic recording. The sound quality is very good, no doubt about it, but it's not stereo.
I know it needs 2 mics to have stereo recording, but as far as I know, Galaxy phones like A6+ has them. So something 's not clear here.
Any help appreciated.

Camera Audio Improvements At High Volumes?

I regularly record concerts I play on my phone
The camera is perfect for this, and gets great video
The microphone, on the other hand, is some of the worst quality I've heard on a phone
I had an LG G3 before this, and the audio quality was more than suitable for my purposes
On this phone, however, as soon as volume levels reach a certain peak, the audio recording seems to "adapt" by throwing a filter on that makes everything just sound horrible
Is there a way to mitigate / disable this filter?
Is there a camera app that might record audio better than the default Samsung one?
I'm on a Snapdragon S9+, just updated to Pie today, unlocked, not rooted

Audio recording Quality

I'm on 11.0.8.0
The voice recording Quality on Miui 11 is very low.
Can someone suggest which Miui version should i switch to get best audio recording Quality. I usually record vocals on acoustic guitars.
Thanks in advance!
yeah you are right...
my friend who have one plus 5 have way better audio recording than pocophone...
I record my voice over using Recforge app...
it's better..
