After two years sadly enough the Marshal died on me last week, "of course" just a 1.5 week after warranty. Send it to Fossil and they replied its an hardware malfunction:

Sadly enough they can't fix it because the parts are not available anymore
So be aware of your warranty and send it in on time...

I guess we'll never know what the problem was or how it was fixed.
I'm new to this device (been around since the early Cyanogenmod days with the HTC Dream/G1) and haven't been on here much in a couple years, so forgive me if this has been well covered. Anyway, there's no info in this thread and another one was asking for this but was locked without answer, so....
I grabbed a Gcam port from here, and it seems to be working well so far.
