Android Pie new navigation bar for xperia? - Sony Xperia XZ1 Questions & Answers

Is there anyway to get the pixel 3's new navigation bar in xperia xz1 ?
Already updated to Pie
Model G8342
Build 47.2.A.4.45

I tested this new navigation system and I can understand Sony not to include it. But since it's new to Pie it would be a shame not to offer it as an option

Remember what they did with night light? Can we do something like that? Or enable them by adb

https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...-apps/pie-xperia-10-10-plus-launcher-t3905699 here is a port of the new launcher which has the pile navigation bar!

I am using this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/official-xda-navigation-gestures-iphone-t3792361 ) Navigation Gestures created by XDA and I am super excited how flawless it works with my Non root xz1 . I am using it since the first versions of the app and they developed it in a very successful manner no bugs now and I recommend it.

try the Fluid NG. I really like it.

OnePlus launcher 3.0.0 with shelf working apks

OnePlus launcher 3.0.0 ported from Oneplus 6.
Shelf , Hidden space and other features working (except double tap to sleep maybe).
Tested on Nokia 7 plus running android 9.0 (should work on oreo as well).
Install both apks.
Works flawlessly after granting storage and contacts permission (for the shelf)
Not my work
Just wanted to share.
Is this the new launcher with the brand new ui gestures (swipe up for home, up-to-right for last recent app, etc)?
Installed one on stock pixel 2xl ,and the options are missing, and its the same as asop pie as far as recent apps go.
Thanks
update: I guess the only way to enable the new gestures is through the oxygen os settings? I wonder if a custom apk could be built modified for this? dunno
Works flawlessly on a Lenovo K5 Plus running CrDroid 8.1. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks ! Are the AOSP roms anny better than miui in your opinion ?
First time using miui and I kind of like it. Only the vibration feedback isn't the best wishes this phone.

Mi-globe is a modified version of miui and they have Miui 10 pie for our device. It also has less bloat and ads removed. It also has face unlock, wallpaper carousel, and fixed hide notch.
Aosp roms are fine. They are all basic android (no skin like samsung, htc, etc) and range in features from pure android source to massive customization options.
I have like MIUI since I first tried it back during gingerbread. Only thing I miss is the app drawer but have gotten used to using folders on my home screens.
AOSP has been a favorite of mine but i have to say that MIUI does feel nice to navigate and despite all the snappiness of an AOSP rom . MIUI provides many apps that i believe that are themed and presented better this way, although i prefer the google integrations rather than Xiaiomi ones with cloud and assistant, MIUI provides some settings and ease of use that i would otherwise not know that i needed or missed with Google. Point is: it's still fast, it has nice features and customization, don't like the Xiaomi cloud services or ads as i don't need another service keeping tabs on me.
Is the Mi8 lite global beta in Pie btw? I have conflicted results in my searches

Do you know the estrimated release date?
The 9.2.15 Pie is good. But I was disappointed to see Camera2 Api still as Legacy even with Redmi Note 7 coming as Full.

[REQUEST] Swipe Up Mod for MIUI EU (???)

Hello guys,
I've been using aosp based roms for a while now and I loved the swipe up gesture, with that little bar where you pull it up to open recents, click to go home and there's this little back button also, best navigation system I have ever seen for a smartphone, way better than the full gesture of the MIUI EU.
The thing is, for as much as I love roms, Poco ones are way behind MIUI on performance and that game tools app on the latest MIUIs is a killer.
Anyway, is there a port from somewhere to use that navigation system on MIUI, excluding those idiotic apps from the Play Store?
Thank you very much!

I guess this should work for you

Change the navigation bar from global to chinese one?

Hi.
So I was on the MIUI11.EU port from the Mi8 until today, and I noticed how the navbar on this was so much better looking than the classic global one we have on Poco. Today I went to the official MIUI11.EU for Poco since it came out and... Back to the old navigation bar.
Is there a way to change this?
I tried a substratum theme but that just didn't work.
Use MIUI theme store.
Can you please attach a screen shot of the Navigation Bar that you are talking about?
I'm currently on Stock MIUI 10.3.8 (No root, locked bootloader).
With the right theme chosen in MIUI theme store, you can get some really cool Navigation Bars.

No problem, right now the one I have is the first attached screenshot and I'd want to change it by the one on the second screenshot.
So.. No one?

Can I get the MIIUI app-switcher without having MIUI?

I know it isn't for everyone, but I really like some of the UI of MIUI - specifically the app switcher which operates vertically and displays two apps side by side.
Has anyone come across an app or launcher which offers the same app-switcher experience as MIUI on no-Xiaomi devices? Or even a complete MIUI theme? (OxygenOS,OnePlus 7 Pro)
Thanks
Hi, maybe it's possible. First your phone should be rooted and you should install miui module on it. Then you can download miui apps and run it on your custom roms.
