@corsicanu for helping me with repartitioning
@ZcoderDEV for giving me idea of this script, big thanks mate
@UditKarode for helping me with script and giving me ideas
And thanks to everyone who helped me with testing this script

F.A.Q.
It is a good idea to read here before asking same question
1- Q: Will i lose any data if i flash this?
A: Yes, backup your files please
2- Q: Can i revert this script?
A: The UnTreble-izer Script is not ready but you can try flashing a stock rom with pit file
3- Q: Can i flash non-treble roms after doing this?
A: Yes, you can flash non-treble roms without any issue
4- Q: Does TWRP backup revert my phone to old state?
A: Yes, if you have a TWRP backup of your old rom you can flash it without any issue. But i don't think TWRP backs up your files in internal storage so please have a backup somewhere of those
5- Q: Can i just reboot and start using my phone after doing this?
A: No, this script will wipe all your data and system. You need to flash your old rom again or restore your twrp backup if you had any
6- Q: I am having mount errors after rebooting to twrp, what should i do?
A: Please read instructions on #1 (first post) carefully
7- Q: Which TWRP should i flash?
zerofltexx: G920F/FD/I/S/K/L
zeroltexx: G925F/FD/I/S/K/L
zerofltecan: G920T/W8

Formatting system using make_ext4fs...
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/vendor' (Invalid argument)
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)

Impressive. This is a great feat. Community should be happy that you put on the best ROM to Official status
Depending on how well this rom works I might just unlock my phone today. Does it have bugs? If so what are they? I'm willing to try it as long as the features I need work. Even if something is broken
Links for official build has been added in thread. Have fun!

Okay bro. Well looks like I'm going to pay for this bootloader unlock then. Plus it's pretty dope that you gave us adaptable storage. Thanks man!
Can't use sd card.system can find the card, but the applications can't find it.

I forgot how to do it but edit your post and mention the dev so that he can see this and fix it. Also include a logcat. If you don't know how to do this you can look it up on YouTube. It's pretty easy.
Thanks very much for your great work on this ROM.
I am trying to install this ROM but receive:
Code:
"Failed to mount '/firmware' (invalid argument)"
This is what I did:
Unlocked bootloader.
Boot into TWRP.
Wiped partitions and format data and internal storage partitions.
Slot A: install OmniROM and Community Vendor.
Switch to Slot B: install OmniROM and Community Vendor then Wipe Dalvik.
But TWRP gives these errors when installing ROM and Vendor on Slot
Code:
"Failed to mount '/firmware' (invalid argument)"
Is this normal to receive this error on Slot B?
And in TWRP if I go into the Mount menu it won't let me select Firmware (if I am in Slot B).
Is it possible to mount /firmware on Slot B?

Never got this. I hope you are using my TWRP from here. Just to make sure, I will repeat steps.
- boot into TWRP
- Wipe everything, format data afterwards
- Reboot into TWRP, flash vendor and ROM package
- Reboot into TWRP again but on other slot this time and flash back vendor and ROM package.
- Flash GAPPS if you want them else reboot into system.
Always use fastboot to change slot (`fastboot --set-active=a` for example) and adb sideload in TWRP to install any zip you want (`adb sideload omnixxxxx-2019xxx.zip` for example).

Downloads:
https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxynote9.html
Instructions:
Odin
Download latest Odin zip from downloads.corsicanu.ro/samsung
Download and install Samsung Drivers (if you have them installed you can skip this step)
Go to settings/Developer options and enable OEM unlock (If you don't see developer settings, go into Settings/About phone/Software info and tap "Build number" 10 times to show Developer options menu)
Download TWRP_*.tar
Switch off the phone
Use Bixby Key+Volume Down+Power to enter Download Mode and connect the device to usb
Open Odin and untick autoreboot in "options" tab. Also make sure that your device is detected
Put TWRP_*.tar.md5 file into AP tab
Click Start
When Odin shows "PASS", take your device in hands, disconnect the usb cable and press simultaneously the "Bixby key" + "Vol. Down" + "Power" buttons until the downoad mode disappears
At the precise moment the screen becomes black, immediately release the "Vol.Down" button and press the "Bixby key" + "Vol. UP" + "Power" buttons during 10 to 15sec to forcefully enter TWRP
If it didn`t worked, redo the steps from #1 more careful this time.
TWRP
Download TWRP_*.img, push it into phone storage, choose install image in your current recovery, navigate to downloaded *.img file, select it, select to flash as recovery.
After booting in TWRP download and flash no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1 zip to disable data partition encryption
If for any reason you fail to install TWRP multiple times/different methods, make sure you check this thread

FAQ / Further reading
Q: TWRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, make sure you formatted data partition.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is showing only Samsung logo
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, consider installing an older TWRP build or a more recent firmware.
Q: I get "Failed to mount /preload message", what to do?
A: From wipe menu select Advanced Wipe, select preload partition to be wiped and reboot recovery.
Q: Why do i need to format data partition?
A: Because old rom encrypted your data partition and new rom can't decrypt and use that content / root needs access to data partition to place misc files / phone not booting after flashing root until data partition gets formatted.

Are you restoring a backup made with this specific twrp? If yes then try to reboot and then again try to restore. if it still fails please try to send /tmp/recovery.log to see what's happening.

Do we still need to format partition after installing trwp ? if so what is the use of official status ? If we can update firmware and still can manage to install twrp without data loss, than its useful.

i had this issue as well, i fixed it by just starting fresh. flashed stock rom using miflash then rooted it again, watch a video with exact steps. im on a custom rom now but im scared to root it because it bricked my device somehow
Why is there no more update for this recovery?
Unlocked bootloader and flashed recovery (followed the mentioned procedure). Rebooted into the system. Booted back to recovery, replaced by default MIUI recovery. Why? Using MIUI 12 stock

Also you can flash recovery when you are ready to flash the rom. That would be better.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does "restore partition boot" mean exactly?

Thank you! As soon as I have a moment free, I;ll give it a try!
I hope you can make lte work!! I need that! Fingers crossed!
Yes!!!! It worked! I format the data partition right after twrp because I don't have an external card. So I moved the backup to the computer disk and then brought it back, when needed. You are the man, AlexeyPer!
For failed human beings like myself, make sure you have the stock ROM to flash back and restart from scratch. I won't tell you how many times I had to do it.. Cheers!
I cannot access file:///sdcard/ with the Chrome browser. Any idea how to fix this?
Just wanted to take the time to say YOU FREAKING ROCK!!! I put this tab away since it didnt have any custom rom and found it cleaning yesterday and went through this and im SOOOO happy i did! now i can retire the hd10 2017 i have running lineage (which is actually great but this is WAYYY better)
A few things of note!!!: If you are using the newest TWRP, when you go to wipe the system it didnt show "system" as a partition to wipe...
1. Original step: *MAKE FULL BACKUP ON SD CARD!!!
YOU HAVE TO MAKE A BACKUP. I originally said "i need nothing on this tab, not goiung to make one" only to find out you have to for the boot partition. HOWEVER to that point, when I made a full backup, it only gave me "system" as a restorable partition. I made a full backup THEN made a seperate backup OF JUST the boot parition which I was then able to use later on.
2. Original step" *WIPE DALVIK,SYSTEM,CACHE,DATA,INTERNAL STORAGE.
On the newest twrp listed here that I used, when you go to wipe the device it shows 'Product' instead of System. so i had to wipe dalvik, PRODUCT, cache, data, internal storage, before flashing Lineage.
3. Original step: *RESTORE PARTITION BOOT!!!
Discussed above, had to have a spereate backup of JUST the boot parition.
4. *WIPE---ADVANCED WIPE---SYSTEM---RESIZE SYSTEM PARTITION
When I went to do this step I DIDN'T have system listed. I had to boot the tablet first to have it come up, then it created the file structure, and I was able to reboot holding power up and power, and was able to get back into twrp and resize. If you don't do this and try to flash gapps, itll say it cant because there isn't enough space.
Hope this helps!!! thanks again!!! LOVINGGGGGGGG this tablet now
Thanks for sharing. I saw that magendanz made a new release to fix a few things (for the Nexus release). Could you also make the same modifications to that img?
UPDATE
Great Job!
Other bug:
MTP doesn't work
Thank you for taking the time to create this ROM. I've just wiped dalvik, system, cache, data and internal storage.
Now I need to reboot system? Isn't this impossible since it's just been wiped? Should I reboot the recovery instead?
I downloaded Nexus.zip (1,7GiB). Is that the correct file and is it the 20220219 version?
And before the last reboot, I have to update TWRP to 3.6? How do I get TWRP 3.6 for an SM-T515?
Cheers

Hi! You must reboot system, then you must boot to TWRP. Now follow the instructions. You get TWRP 3.6 from Magendanz.
P.S Do only according to the instructions. Sorry for my English.
Your english is fine, no worries. Magendanz has TWRP for the SM-T510 and SM-T290, I don't see T515 on the list.
The good news is that I haven't bricked it yet

Hi! I checked TWRP Magendanz versions. Working version of TWRP for T515 twrp-3.6.0_11-2-T510XXU5CUL1-20210218.tar.md5 and twrp-3.6.0_11-2-T510XXU5CUL1-20210218.img, New versions of TWRP can turn the T515 into a brick.
P.S T515 = T510 TWRP (I hope you understand me): )
Hi all, which ROM is more stable, NEXUS STOCK or Lineage OS on SM-T515?

Will do, yes, full wipe. Not sure if its an twrp issue as i get some crypt errors in twrp.
Paranoid installs nicely with the aosp recovery they provide tho
Edit, getting impression that the wipe command not functional in twrp. Lets see other users manage to install

So found the issue guys. Problem beetween user vs userdebug build (Selinux issue) Building again.
Wait few hours (2/3) and see on DL page for the new builds.
i always use an userdebug build for debugging and it's the first time it happen
Very sorry for this inconvenience, my mistake...
I've updated too the TWRP process with format userdata in OP
