[Q] Changing status bar's height to fix applications cutted - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi to all, i've opened this thread because I've found a possible fix for the problem of cutted apps like WhatsApp when the poco is used with gestures.
I've changed in developer settings the "minimum width" value to 360 and the situation now is better as you can see in the attached image. But now there is another problem that you can see in the other image, the status bar is too much low and it isn't aligned with notch. How can I change it's height? Thanks.

tablet ui?

Is tablet mode/ui still possible via the per app DPI changer? I have used this in the past to change to tablet mode but I can't get systemui or settings apks to change to it. I either get force close in settings or the status bar is just really small. If someone know the right settings that would be great. Miss having my status bar on bottom and double slider settings menu.

Mod or feature for two line of notification icons?

Hello,
I have been using the F1 for one month now, and I love the power and photo quality of this phone for it's price.
But one thing is a problem for me: the notch.
In one hand, I like having a display that is covering the maximum of the front of the phone, and in the other hand this big thing is allowing only to see a few notifications and system icons.
With MiUi 10, we have a feature to display the notifications under the clock (see here), but with Custom Roms like LineageOS you can only have two or three icons, or hide the clock, and this become also a problem on the right side when you have wifi, cellular data, bluetooth, GPS and the battery icon: somes disappear and are replaced by a dot on the left, and you need to expand the notification panel to see the icons.
Because of these issues I am constantly using the feature that hides the notch by totally disabling the top part of the screen.
So my question is: is there any app/mod/anything that could make the status bar use the left and right side of the notch and a bar at the bottom like a normal phone?
I have made a concept in GIMP in the attachments.
Thanks in advance for your reply and sorry for my English
Have a great day,

On Pie and rooted. Is there any way to fix the "4 status bar icons max" issue?

On Pie and rooted. Is there any way to fix the "4 status bar icons max" issue?
Hello! I've searched far and wide and have read tons of complaints about this issue, but no resolutions. Those complaining posts I found were from several months ago, so I was hoping maybe a resolution came about.
It seems as though for whatever reason (possibly due to phones now having notches), Google has made it so there can be no more than 4 notification icons in the system tray. This is extremely aggravating to me. I typically have my weather app showing me the temperature in the status bar, and now I can't see that any more without swiping down. I also have no idea if I have a new notification from eBay because Wunderlist and my text notification icon take up those spaces.
There is PLENTY of room on my status bar for more notifications, so this stupid "dot" is annoying me to no end. My phone is rooted. Is there any way to double the height of the status bar so I can see all my notifications? Or if that's not an option, is there a way to just tell Android Pie to behave like Oreo and just show me all of the notification icons it can fit in my status bar?
Again I am rooted, on Pie, on an original Pixel XL, so I am hoping there's some answers out there for me, but I am not finding anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Top right icons hidden by notch

Hi Everyone
this is my first post, I hope you can help me.
I have a Pocophone F1. When I set the "not disturb" or "silent" modes the corresponding icons, that should appear in the top right of the display, actually don't appear. I guess they are hidden by the notch. This is really annoying because, in this way, it is very easy to forget to have set the silent or the do not disturb modes.
I already made some searches and it seems that all the solutions and third-party apps are made for the top left notification icons.
Is there a solution?
Thank you very much in advance.
All the best,
Gabriele
Stock MIUI on Poco only supports three objects displayed in the status bar. Left side is clock and right side is SIM and battery.
There is no setting to change this behavior.
You may try and install a custom sutartus bar, I've seen some apps on the Play Store.
Yes, thanks but the apps I have seen only change the visualization of the top left notification icons keeping the top right ones as are. Could you kindly suggest me an appropriate app?
Thank you very much.
