Hi all, my s9+ hasn't seen an update since September 2018. Is there a way I can force my phone to update, if so how can I do this (I haven't flashed a custom firmware to a phone since 2014 :laugh
My phone is completely stock no modifications to the firmware at all, the phone is a dual sim and I believe it is factory unlocked although my sim card is with Three (if that makes any difference).
I have tried updating through the phone settings with no luck.
Any help would be very much appreciated :good:

Try checking for a software update using smart switch on your pc. If it doesn't find the update, download and flash the latest software from sammobile. Use HOME_CSC to keep your data.
anyone know which one to use for att carrier? they have everyone but att. mine hasn't updated since feb of 2018. i wanna update to pie so was gonna update to latest oreo then to pie if i can.

I have an Atrix that I bought in China, it is a Korean device from what I can tell, branded Tworld (?)
Anyway, I am currently working in China and bought it here and it is unlocked and rooted. And it is running Froyo. I have wanted to at least update it to Gingerbread but the threads with the ROMs are not easy for non-experts and mostly seem designed for ATT models. I never checked for OTA update because I figured it is some kind of hybrid that is not supported by any carrier or anything. Just today I checked and it says there is an update, but I am not sure if it will upgrade to GB and if so, will I lose the root? I took some screenshots, that I hope can be displayed. Should I accept this update?
Hope someone can help.

Hi, i updated my Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925A) to the last official 5.1.1 firmware from AT&T, the problem is that the fingerprint sensor stop working, and show me a message ; i restart the phone more than once but the issue continues, i have to say that update via Odin, and before do that i unrooted the phone; i think it was a hardware problem, so i flash the previous version (G925AUCU1AOE2) and the sensor works perfect again, then i flash the 5.1.1 firmware one more time and the problem start once again. When i try to install My Knox app there is a problem too and other apps are not installed.
I post screenshots of the issues.

Hi im from SRI LANKA
i have unlocked g925t t-mobile phone.
it is on lolipop vesion
i want it to upgrade for marshmallow.
But i have a problem...
1. if i flash original t-mobile stock file will my phone get locked again?(i don't have the unlock code)
2. if i flash g925i stock file for my phone, will it get bricked!
(if not anyone can give me a link to download
stock firmware also the steps should i follow )
I want to know answers & help for these questions because i want to use my phone in SRI LANKA(without any carrier locking & without carrier bloatware)

try flashing a custom firmware like XtreStoLite, this rom runs really good and it is stock
Title explains it, flashed from CN rom some months ago, this is the first OTA update I've seen.. is this safe to update since I unlocked bootloader to move from CN?

Of course it is safe. It's official OTA update and it is the full package! However, a backup is advised before updating.
Note that, after the A17 next update that follows is the android 12 realme ui 3.0!!

If I go and do a manual install of the Android12 package, is there some way to relock the bootloader and regain Google Pay usability?

I'm currently stuck on the A.20 without any updates. The A.21 has been releases with the June update patch for a while now but unfortunately I haven't received it. Can someone kindly be able to share this if available?

I have DN2103 A21 update. Was shared here. I don't think it was released for DN2101.
