CrDroid has not so many issues, the only difference between PE (Pie) and these ROMs is Rapid Charging, all other ROMs show and charge Slowly.

Lots of errors and Unstable
I am facing lots of errors on installing this ROM. first of all, I constantly get error android.process.media has stopped, android.process.phone has stopped, ETC. Also, I get error on trying to connect wifi, saying failed to connect network. also my sim cards are not being detected.

In my opinion this is by far the best ROM for this device in terms of customization, performance and battery life.
I have recently installed this rom and I must say it is amazing! Stability, features, and even if it has an old security patch, it still is nice. Even if, I could just use the gsi version of this. Thanks for making this

Great to find official rr pie here. I have tested it before when it was launched for our device.
Found some bugs as:
1.Cast screen doesn't work.
2.smart pixel function is horrible. It starts ghost touch.
3.no quick charge toggle. Quick charge by default.
4. Eui audio by shivateja push it into bootloop.
5. CDLA doesn't work.

Yes, I'm using the one from 2019-01-19, and it's super stable so far. Excellent work from developers.
please fix the bug in the photos with lots of sunlight to get an abnormal pink color. this is not a bug in the gcam, but rather the ROM itself (most Pie ROMs are like this). all cameras in all applications have this bug. the only ROM that did not present this was the AEX Pie, you might be considering this for the next updates of RR Pie.

I get an HDR + pink error in GCam, but I don't get a pink error only when I choose HDR.
This applies to all Android 9 version.

Try this is shared in the Telegram group. I'm using GCAM 6.1 and I'm pleased that the Pink color has improved.

Hi, there seems duplicate menus in resurrection tools along with other areas. Please may bring all the customisations under resurrection tool only.
Hello, people did not notice that PIE does not work? On activation, the screen becomes all black and impossible to do anything. I tried several times to activate it, every time I had to reinstall the ROM
With RR I have a problem, when I use Facebook everything works but if I go in the Facebook marketplace the page runs quickly but if I enter and I look at a product then when I go back to the marketplace the scrolling no longer goes and moves in small shots
Cdla headset does not work. WhatsApp calling audio and video does not work. Battery discharging very fast. Fast loading does not exist.

Bugs that I found:
- File explorer (cant acces to some files on sdcard, but TWRP/7.1.2 rom can)
- Navbar not activated by default (you should enable manually into settings)
Cool features that i found / what works (instead of LOS 15.1 v1.3 that i tested before):
- using the hidden LED as notifications LED's
- smooth
- Can restore purchases from PlayStore (on LOS 15.1, paid apps shown into my apps list, but he asked me to pay them again Oo)
- Fingerprint works too
Should be stable enough for daily usage if the files access bug is fixed.
Just installed, so i can't tell more about battery draining.

I can access all the files, you need to grant him permission to access and modify files on the sd card. This may also be an error in the default file manager, try another one.

This is something common to a lot of devices on a lot of ROMs. Just zoom in a bit to circumvent.

Ignore it. GtrCraft has kept it permissive for substratum.
And, custom kernel doesn't effect it.

Failed, with this error message:
"Zip_comptible_err
Zip Treble compatibility error!
Invalid zip file format!"
I also formated the sd card

Use latest TWRP CFW instead of old build
A new RR build is available, check first post for download it
Changelog:
• Sync with RR v8.5.8 changes
• Rebase over LineageOS device tree and vendor tree
• Disable battery health
• Don't build trust for the moment
• Fix more sepolicy denials
• Fix video recording on some camera app

Not a decent solution, every build of mine will include this file until RR team decide to remove this file on their build system

My favorite ROM I was using it on Galaxy Note 4 ?
The rom is good in performance and in battery also,there is no scrolling lag.Everything works fine except some issues such as no charging led ,high volume on headset during call and macro camera not focussing in ANX185.
I try to flash this ROM but got info that zip file is corrupted.. How to flash it?

I put ROM on SD card, do I need to put it on Internal memory? Flash it from phone?

Just installed latest version... No matter how much i love MIUI, i will never go back to stock again. MIUI12 is so buggy for global variant, i had to switch to something else.

I agree with the user above this post. MIUI 12 is way too buggy for long-term usage. I've flashed this yesterday and I think I'm going to keep this as my daily driver. The performance is good, which is surprising for RR. The battery life seems better than on MIUI 12, but that's cause on MIUI 12 the cell standby is bugged (which causes the phone's battery to drain overnight/when the screen is off). A few bugs I've noticed on this rom are the battery charging led settings (led notifications work just fine), the system updater fails to connect and most custom camera's barely work. I tried to install a port of the stock MIUI 12 camera (ANX), but it crashes at start. Google Camera works partially. The camera that's included with this rom is too minimalistic, doesn't seem to use all back camera's and the image quality isn't amazing, but still fine. All in all a great rom and I do really hope the development for it goes on for a while. Cheers!

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

1. Search and download MagiskHide Props Config and Busybox for Android NDK from the Download section within Magisk
2. Download termux from the play store
3. Reboot the device as necessary
4. Run the following commands within termux su then props

Make sure you have followed the instructions on how we install it. Make sure you are on the latest One UI either 2 or 2.1 it doesn't matter as long as you're on Q. Wipe Everything and flash the rom, gapps (flame gapps preferable), magisk if you want
Q3 I am having problems setting up my phone on initial BOOT
FLASH Flame GAPPS basic. It's similar with open gapps pico but with sound picker.
Q4 Why isn't X feature there? Its there in xyz rom
I have recently worked on this due to the quarantine situations that gave me time to work on it. I have worked alone and currently I am working on my own because everyone is busy with their own lives right now. If you have a feature request, I will not guarantee adding it because I may get busy.
I built this ROM for personal use but since evryone is sitting at home now I thought to publish it.

If after flashing Gapps your setup wizard wont work flash the rom finish the setup wizard and then flash the gapps afterwards

Back when I had the Nexus 6P still alive I always went for this rom. I don't know how happy I am to see it here but I use the s-pen features so I'm not sure when I will make the jump. Anyways thank you so much for bringing this rom here.

Well downside is you cant go back to Pie. Better to update your phone to stock One UI 2.1 then install TWRP and flash that.

Yes, that's right. You need to flash OneUI 2.0 or 2.1 stock from ODIN (download from sammobile). Good luck!

Yes, I use that one on one UI roms, beast mode kernel also support F2FS, was just curious
