Today, I tried to flash Project Infinity on my 900T and after doing so, I am stuck in a boot loop. I tried to format /system and re installing but that led to no success. Any help?
may be bad download? did u checksum? try redownload and select stock kernel see how it goes.

Well I eventually got it to work but when I booted it, things were really buggy and I really couldn't do anything. When I would go through the initial setup of the Project Infinity ROM, there would be a constant error message like: "com.systemui has stopped" and everything was unresponsive. So I flashed the stock ROM and i'm back to vanilla touchwiz.
Also, what is checksum?

Yea, I did.
checksum is just the way to check made sure u got a good download.

diiferent files manager app have different way to check, u may need to google it.

I found a way, but the developer doesn't provide a md5 checksum so i'm lost there. Do you think using a different recovery will help?
Hello, dear friends. Recently I built a new custom ROM for SM-N915V Multilanguage edition based on latest firmware N915VVZW2CQI3. Default language is Russian I used some deodexed files from SM-N915F and SM-N915FY when built this ROM. The ROM is tested on my Galaxy Note Edge Verizon Phone. It is works excellent and stable. It is looks like SM-N915F. All Verizon programs and some apps like Hangouts, PenUp, Google Music, Instagram, Flipboard removed. At first on your phone must be installed a new firmware. https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...opment/verizon-note-edge-marshmallow-t3689387 Then, after download TWRP.rar file unpack it and copy TWRP folder to your phone or external SD Card. Go to TWRP Recovery Wipe menu and wipe dalvik/ art cache, cache, data, system. Go to restore menu and select storage where you copy unpacked TWRP folder. Select my backup and restore System. The system will install more than usually, please don't panic. Everything will be good.
This backup is tested and 100% working. Before installing my ROM, create a full backup of your system. So you have no risk. Please, after installing the ROM, write your feedback, it is important to me.

That flash with the Update zip was successful. I get to the checking connection part of setup though and it never finishes. The 4g and wifi icons show and it says connected when i sign into wifi but im not getting any data.
I finally pushed the skip button at checking connection and i tried to sign into google play and i got nothing. Says theres no connection.
Oh and S Note stops and force closes.
And the TWRP backup -
S Note stops during setup as well. And again no data connection. The icons are there and active but still no data, cant sign into google play.

I know this problem. Do not do anything else with the firmware.

i have a never ending bootloop no matter what I try, I tried wiping everything, system,cache,data, and dalvik cache and still nothing, I get to the starting apps screen in Russian and as soon as it finishes it bootloops again, any help?

You must wiping only dalvik and cache. Which firmware was installed before?
I was using a 5.1.1 custom ROM, might that be the culprit?

i'm facing this issue, google play services crash when i use for the first time Google Play, it crashes after the backup screen, that screen before the main screen of the google play store.
This happens even after a fresh flash with miflash - using the option clean all (i tried flashing it with different versios and the problem is still present), my phone has the bootloader locked.
Any ideas?

Download again the stable build of fastboot rom, then flash it through EDL mode..

Yes, also i've unlocked the bootloader using the unofficial way and it seems to be bricked.

This is due to fact that, google apps are old and outdated and needs to be updated when fresh installed miui, just login and wait for say 30-40 minutes, then repeat the process to produce crash, I hope It will be solved. If it still present then please Can you post whole list of application u use. ? Do u flash gapps on miui.?? (Since ur bootloader is locked so I doubt that)
There could be some permission problems or battery saving app messing with gservices.
Try this goto settings, developer settings, then turn off miui optimization and reboot, then post experience.
Also if u r using miui, this is due

My installation was clean, a fresh flash using clear all in mi flash. I don't need to flash gapps because my variant is a kate model.
The error is still present.

U didn't got it, just look at the version of Google Apps present in rom zip and updated Google Apps version.. They need to updated b4 setting all backup account and others.
Try going to setings downloded apps, and reset app defaults in options. I think bad settings are being applied when signing in, so a fresh install isn't helping as the settings keep getting applied when signing in.

I have the same problem. Honestly I think that is due to the unlocked bootloader, not the root.
Did you unlock the bootloader before rooting the device?

Yes i have unlock bootloader. Then i locked it again before restore original rom by sony companion but problem not fix

To be honest, everytime that I restored my phone and signed in, my data wasn't transfered to my phone

No. What I said was that the feature, for me, didn't work very well since the beginning. But you can use, for example, Flashtool, flash the stock software and try to use the feature again.

i am affraid these are core previlage apps and if you install them as thirdparty app it may not function properly since they won't get system access! nor they are designed to ASK Magisk for one!
you need to go back and ask the script developer to exclude these apps!
or I think i saw this application which can customize fastboot rom and remove/add features /apps

miflash can flash fastboot rom even when boot is locked! you don't have to unlock the boot!
however need to know more what sort of error you are faching?
the recovery ROM is 1.7gb where FB rom is usualy2.6gb
are you flashing the correct rom?
