Official 9 ROM: BT quick setting toggle buggy? - Moto G6 Plus Guides, News, & Discussion

Has anyone who is now running an official Motorola Android 9 Pie ROM noticed that the Bluetooth (BT) quick setting toggle state no longer changes reliably like it did on Android 8?
I find that even after I go the taps into settings to manually switch BT off, the quick setting BT toggle still appears to be in an on (aqua coloured circle background) state. This remains the case no matter how many times you tap or long tap it. Only rebooting, then tapping it again, will finally toggle it off.
I suspect the new Android 9 support for multiple BT audio devices may be buggy as the only time I use BT is when I'm listening to music via BT headset. Sometimes I power off the headset to save charge without caring about the phone's BT settings. This may be involved in the issue.

Touch Pro Bluetooth Issue - Missing Icons

Hi all,
Strange post, but I am curious and cannot find any other threads:
I installed LCG Jukebox and now I do not see my Bluetooth icon in the Start bar. Additionally, I use a bluetooth stereo headset. Previously, I would get the Bluetooth icon, the headset icon AND the bluetooth headset icon.
I uninstalled LCG jukebox, but still do not get the start bar icons back.
Now, the weird thing is that the bluetooth headset still works.
The point of this is that to conserve battery, I go into Comm Mngr to enable/disable Bluetooth; by not displaying the icon, I am not always sure I've turned it off. I don't really care about seeing both the stereo headset and the bluetooth stereo headset icons, but I do miss the bluetooth icon (and it freaks me out a bit that I lost some functionality
I've rematched my bluetooth devices, and the icon in the top start bar is just gone.
Any advice?
hard reset and start all over... its defitnatly a software conflict, but i dont think youll be able to track down the conflict a reverse it, w/o hard reset...especially because u already tried that...

Honor 7 vibration disabling

Hello!
Please, is there anyone who knows how to easily and quickly disable Honor 7's notification vibrations and keep only the notification sounds on? I know I can go to Settings-Sound and turn it off completely etc., but I mean a way hot to turn it off quickly, for example by a widget or another quick setting and of course to be able to turn it on quickly again later. My old Android HTC Desire Z was able to turn it off only by repeated tapping on the speaker icon in the quick settings menu which I pulled down on the screen. It ciclically set up sound with vibration, only sound, only vibrations or complete mute. Honor 7 seems to bind vibrations with sound and that is all. I also tried some widgets which pretended turning it off but vibrations were still going on. It seems to me that the more I use this phone the more it sucks in many tiny details which were routine even on my older Android.
Thanks for help!

Phone Keeps Un-Muting Itself - How to Stop?

I'm having a weird problem that I can't find a solution anywhere for. I leave my phone on vibrate at work, and on mute at night. However, the phone returns back to sound enabled by itself. I change the settings to mute/unmute through the Quick Settings menu at the top. It will change this while the phone is locked and sitting on my desk.
I've tried searching and disabling everything and have had no luck.
Disabled Volume Rocker (Media Only Now)
Disabled Smart Stay
Disabled Easy Mute
Disabled Do Not Disturb mode
Changed Do Not Disturb Mode Schedule to One Day only, and then disabled
Any one have any ideas? I can't find a trigger, and it seems to be random. I will go to unlock my phone and it will be un-muted. Or, I will have a notification go off that will make a sound, and the phone is obviously un-muted. I've found other thread where people experience the issue, but no fix.
Having the same problem with an RCA android tablet which I use strictly as a security dongle. No luck getting the sound to stay turned off here either...

Nokia 6.1 Plus Android Pie Beta October 1 Patch Bugs

1. After removing the headset, if I am trying to make a call, I can't hear anything from the earpiece. I tried all the possible ways. Only a Restart or Reboot fixes.
2. Battery Optimisation is not completely working as hyped.
3. Adaptive Brightness is somewhat working. If I am dragging the Brightness Button it re positions itself again and again. Until it stops and listens to me
4. No option to Silent the Device Wake Up Nokia Tune.
5. Once you swipe up for the menu. There is a quick menu and right under it shows 2 Tabs Last Call or App or Last Sms. I would like to remove that, but no options to customise that.

Bluetooth controls not working when screen is turned off

Device
Oukitel K4000
Operating System
Android 5.1 (Stock)
Hello,
i got a general Android problem. As long as my screen is turned on, i can skip tracks with the controls on my bluetooth earbuds, does not matter if screen is locked or unlocked. But as soon as the screen is turned off, the controls stop working.
Googling the problem leads to nothing, because the only problem that shows up, is the one where controls don´t work on lockscreen.
But i got no issue there. Everything works as long the screen is turned on. As soon i turn it off, the controls stop working. I tried remapping keys with Button Mapper which doesn´t help.
Everything works as intended, i can skip (Spotify) tracks from Lockscreen, from homescreen, from everywhere. But as soon as the display turns off, i can´t skip tracks anymore via bluetooth. Changing volume still works tho! Also i can skip tracks with holding the volumebutton on the phone but not with the bluetooth controls.
Any fix for that?
Greetings, Schnoinsch
