"he can't remember" is the classic stolen device story. I wouldn't expect any help from XDA.

You'd better check if the IMEI has been blocked, if so it's for sure a stolen device, otherwise it might be not. Maybe the person who sold you the phone never uses google so he forgot the password he once set.

If you can root it might be possible.

[Q] Tablet stolen. Still in use over google? Help! Important!

Hi all!
A few months ago my tablet (Asus Transformer) got stolen. (((
Anyway... I changed my Google password one day after this and I have still the control over my account. Phuuu... I expected that with this password change the thief has no chance to get in my account.
Today I went in the Google Play Store, as it is called now. I noticed that the stolen device is still in the list of my devices. The strange thing is, it displays that it is still in use and the last activity was on the 27th of March 2012 (which is today) O_O.
My first thought was: OMG the thief has stolen my google account?! But everything seems to be still fine. I can use my google services and the thief can't have the new password.
But why do I see the usage of my old tablet?
Is there any chance to find out the IP address or track the device without any extra sw on the tab?
Is my google account really secure?
Why wasn't the play store affected to my password change?
How can I remove the device completely from my google?
Please HELP!!!
Other idea:
Is there any app in the market to "destroy" the tablet remotely. Im thinking of a device brick or just a full wipe?
Maybe the thief is so stupid to grant root access to a new installed app
May be you can use LMaxi Anti Theft PRO or AndroidLosst. They can be installed from Google play store web. With this app you can find your tablet.
Sorry for bad English

Do I have to enter anything locally on the device itself? I'm using the Cerberus app now on my phone and my new tablet but I know that I need to login one time on the device to set it up.

I just noticed exactly the same for my stolen/lost phone. The "last used" date was the date I lost it, until now. March 27. Maybe its because of some data migration and the switch to the "Play" store?

Google FRP removing

Hello,
I have a very big problem. I bought a telephone from ebay but there is the FRP active and I cannot use it.
Is there a way to bypass it? Or can the old owner do something remotely? For example by removing the telephone from the devices' account list?

Which phone do you have? There are tons of youtube videos online. I don't think the owner could do anything remotely..

Hi you have over the internet free ways to bypass FRP protection - just write on YT for example :
"FRP ANDROID 9 0 SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 S9 PLUS REMOVE GOOGLE ACCOUNT FINAL SECURITY" ....
If that way doesn't work search for another one ...

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G not prompting Google account after reset?

Hey, fellas!
I recently purchased this SM-G977U (Verizon) from someone, i have att and had issues for it to work on att. So I desperately tried a few things until I did the *#72* (IMEI) or something code and it reset my device. I had logged in to my Google account prior to the reset. The problem is when I try to set it up again, it doesn't prompt the account /password tabs. Only if I could get it to prompt I could log in, but it doesn't...
Any suggestions? Video linked to my issue as I feel it's hard to understand without seeing for yourself.
Thanks in advance, any tips or help is very much appreciated!
I guess since I have this new account here in the forum, I can't share a link to the video.
