(so it's delivered with the leather case and cradle and usb cradle and stylusses and battery and charger and memory card)
Update concerning the screen
i've had some questions of people who were interested buying the xda for a replacement of the screen. as it's still for sale, this might help you :
The question was mainly "is the screen still allright" ? i can say it is in excellent condition, so it would do its job as replacement excellently.
Another thing to mention is that i live in belgium. shipping costs to australia are quite high, but to europe they are reasonable.
kind regards.

HTC Flyer on the cheap

Hi all,
I've just seen a HTC Flyer for sale online (forgive me for not revealing my sources).
It's a fairly reputable auction site and 'apparently' it's 3 months new, 16GB Wi-Fi version with case, box, headphones, pen and a free 32GB MicroSD Card... looks ok in the pictures for cosmetic damage.
Seller wants £100 for it... What do you all think? Is it worth it? I know they still RRP for around £300+, so it could be a bargain!
Unsure.
cheers,
T-L-H
Lessee....that's about 150 USD, so yeah...thats a good deal.
I dunno what "3 months new" means but you'd be hard pressed to find a flyer that cheap over here even used. Best price I've seen is 180 USD refurbished.
I am selling mine on Swappa, it comes with more than just the unit, but am asking $335 for it.
http://swappa.com/listing/TKX494/view
Mine is listed in the XDA Marketplace w/ Scribe, Otterbox Case, charging dock and Screen Protectors.
Hi all,
I'll take a look at what you're offering but I don't think it'll compare to £100!
If anyone has a 3g version for sale, send me a pm so we can work something out (I'm in Texas).
Thats a fantastic deal. Maybe too good to be true. Is the seller reputable?
If its an auction, then 100 pounds is just the starting price or the current bid? Or a "buy it now" price?
If its just the starting price or current price, keep in mind that the huge majority of auction bidding happens in the last couple hours leading up to the auction end, even the last couple MINUTES.
With any online auction, make sure the seller (not just the website) has a good reputation. I typically will not even consider buying from somebody that has less then something like a 98% rating. A marginal or poor rating means, at a minimum, that the seller is not good at communicating (responding to inquiries or issues), and /or slow at shipping (none of which you want). Worst case, a bad rating means that they are a scam artist.
I'm not sure why people keep mentioning auctions or buy it now prices.
All I said was that the seller wants £100 for it, and that's the flat price.
I think it's an ok deal.

You said in your OP that it was on an auction website. So unless you explicitly note otherwise we might assume its . . . (wait for it) . . . AN AUCTION!!!!! Imagine that!!!
Also, I'm the only one that mentioned auctions or buy it now price, so I don't know why you're on about "why people keep mentioning . . .".
You haven't given many details, so its hard for anyone to say whether its a good deal or not. Is it available straight from this "fairly reputable auction site", or is it the type of site where individuals post things for sale (like eBay). If its an individual seller, do they have a good rating?
I have a HTC View that I would sell for $240 + shipping if anyone is interested, I think I'm going to list it in the XDA market place.

Do you have a link to your Flyer on MarketPLace?

Stainless Steel / Metal Band For the Gear S for sale

Hello,
Because of the demand I have seen for the metal straps for the Samsung Gear S on my youtube channel, I had gotten in touch with a designer in South Korea who has been developing custom straps for the Gear S. He has completed making a Black Metal Strap, but had no means of marketing it global or promoting it. I am assisting him by bringing his initial stock of straps to the market. If he is able to sell enough initially he will have the means to release multiple straps in different colors and designs at a lower cost.
You can purchase them here:
eBay.com - http://www.ebay.com/itm/271876881324...84.m1555.l2649
Amazon.com - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X9CGQTU
My Website - http://www.lpxstudios.com/store/p25/...PRE-ORDER.html (Purchase is process through either PayPal or Square)
Shipments begins 6/5
*Price differences are due to different fees from sites. I am selling these bands at cost. I am mainly doing this to help get the designer off the ground to get these bands to market. If we sell enough, he will have the means to mas produce these and other designs at a lower cost. Purchasing through my website will be the lowest cost.
Here are the 2 videos I made for the bands:
Review - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhIuFIVxKLg
Update - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnV3QQDxx5k
I was able to work out a deal with a local supplier and my post office to get the standard shipping costs down for all the international shipments.
Canada - $15 > $11
Global - $25 > $17
Here is the new eBay store page (which will be updated soon) - http://stores.ebay.com/lpxstudios?_t...p2047675.l2563
http://www.gofundme.com/GearSMetalBands
Thank you very much for posting the link.
How do we know this is not a scam? OP has no history of posts before this. Bands sound great, but always hesitant to put out money online. Is GOFUNDME secure, or could we lose our money on this and never get a product? No offense if all legit, and you should understand the question and concern I hope.
Thank you.
Oh I completely understand your position. I was hoping that he would be willing to send the his stock to me so I could immediately sell directly from ebay or amazon, but I definitely didn't have the cash on hand to do so. So reluctantly I had agreed upon the pre-order route, knowing that these issues would arrise. But he will not get the money until I receive the straps to send out. But he did send me 2 to review and promote as a good will gesture. I also have the pre-order available through my website where the transaction is processed throguh square or paypal. But even with that I know that this will still make 99% of people hesitant, on top of that you have no idea who I am so that adds on to that. All I can say to that point is you can take a look at my youtube channel, LPX Tech and can judge my character from there and even look for me on facebook if you like, my name is Andrew Hwang. I have done giveaways on my channel where I have given away a gear S, Gear VR, gopro, and a handful of other stuff where people thought I was scamming, but all the winners recieved their prizes and showed the proofs of me sending them out.
As far as GoFundMe is concerned they do have a support team that will reach out to me that a refund has bee requested at which point in time I would do so. The first few people that pre ordered were some of my subscribers from my channel, and I wouldn't personally risk losing them over this, especially as a aspiring youtuber. But at the end of the day I understand if you do not feel comfortablte with this. I am also new to the XDA community as well. I am just hoping to sell enough to the point where the designer will trust me enough to go mass produce the bands and send me a solid stock so I can start to sell them through credible avenues like Amazon.com.
Thank you for your reply though, I had thought that my post would go ignored.
You may personally email me at [email protected] if you like.
I forgot to mention that I will also be taking preorder through my Amazon.com Store once I get it approved. I have started a contact list for those who would like to order it through Amazon instead. If you like to be added to the list, you can email me at [email protected]
I've seen his videos on YouTube. He is a valued member of the Gear S community. I've watched his 30 minute long video on how to set up call forwarding when mine wasn't working. Got the idea that it was AT&T's fault in the comments. I'm not sending him any money, but I can attest this guy is legit.
Here is the video of what this looks like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhIuFIVxKLg
I think they're ugly but at least it's a start.
Thank you for saying so. Yeah I know that these won't be for everyone but it definitely is a start, and if we well enough, more styles will be on their way. I posted a link to the ebay page where you can preorder the bands on thh youtube video.
Some quick questions for you @lpxstudios... do you have the product on hand? If so could you post pics or a YouTube video of the band up close? Also I see the band is metal, but what material is the piece that goes around the watch? It seems to be some sort of plastic. If it is plastic is it of the same quality of the original plastic band that came with the watch?

I have the two prototype ones that he sent me to test out. The video of the bands are in the link provided by SaintCrispin above. I can't post urls unfortunately due to my junior level here. The video is on my youtube channel LPX Tech.
The material housing around the watchface is similar to the original piece.

Got mine in the mail today. Happy with how it looks. It is very light weight but I'm hopeful that it will hold up just fine.
Just wanted you all to know you can trust this guy. I ordered on Friday... and received it on Monday. Hard to beat that!

How did you already receive something that says it will start shipping on may 19th?
Nevermind, the description seems to contradict itself.
