Unfortunately no fix for the design flaw in notification bar yet, my biggest annoyance with this phone rn
Edit: Supposedly it got fixed in this build!

I have the Mi 9 8G version from China with the stable 10.2.16 China rom.
Unlock the bootloader after 360 hours and flash with Miflash with Global stable 10.2.3.
Now trying to figure how to have a permanent TWRP with decrpt data.

Ahh thanks for letting me know that global works. I chose Xiaomi.eu.
For me TWRP stayed since the first time I flashed it. Only had to format data once just the first time using it. Since then it's been working fine. Even with finger print and stuff enabled

Hi. BTW, which Magisk version have you installed? Now my TWRP is permanent but not able to get Magisk running, both V18.1 and 19 causing bootloop.
Will be trying V18.
Hope it work.

Update:
Fail to install Magisk from v18 to 19.
When flash v16., reboot to bootloader, cannot boot to Recovery, required to flash by Miflash again to get phone working.
Follow the other thread of flashing rom + magisk = no Magisk after bootup.
Not sure where I go wrong.
I am sorry if I am in the wrong thread.

Well, I felt that
Update is not that exciting
Everything is same as mini 8
This has better stability
Good carrier connection till now
Has added features of global development rom
Camera captures from fingerprint also.
Little bit better battery I feel.
For me first boot Took really long time.

100% you won't lose unlocked bootloader. Twrp, even if lost it might be due to some mistake during flashing, can be recovered by flashing it using fastboot mode. You may have to wipe (just wipe no need to format anything in data partition) before installation. I think dirty flash won't work.

Thanks, tried the rom on my Chinese 8Gb/128Gb, but unfortunately, there's no L1 Widewine...(which I have expected global dev rom could enable it)
did you try to wait a few hours? since in pocophone f1's case flashing beta rom needed few hours for widevine l1 to be updated to the phone.

You can install via fastboot if your bootloader is unlocked. If you want to install Global beta, you should install Chinese global first than Chinese Beta, then Global beta (if I am not wrong).

I see a method in the Mi 8 forums which I may try. Could you share a list of system apps safe to remove?

1) Unlock bootloader (1week)
1.5) Potentially flash vbmeta.img in fastboot as stated on the first page - if step 3 doesn't boot to recovery and boots to fastboot instead.
2) Boot to fastboot and flash custom recovery (twrp)
3) Boot custom recovery wipe all data, reboot to recovery, copy ROM.zip to your phone and flash.

Question poco x3 GT root

I'm trying to install Magisk because the poco x3 GT has arrived and I was able to unlock it.
After fastbooting the img file created by Magisk, it becomes a boot loop.
I've succeeded with the same procedure on Mi9, so I don't think it's wrong, but if I try again, the result is the same.
MIUI is not 12.5.2.
If anyone has succeeded, please give me some advice.
I wish someone could make a trwp for chopin
I can root with this boot. My MIUI version is China development version 21.8.13. The new MIUI version may not be valid. You can try it

I connected poco to a PC in fastboot mode, executed a batch file, and entered the number 9 from the menu screen, but the screen closes and exits. If anyone has any problems, please let me know.

Maybe it's a driver problem. I'm not sure. This is another tool you can try.

Recovery dont stick, can fastboot

My poco f1 its boot looping, it stick with the logo of poco and dont move to miui, had the stock miui rom of course bootloader unlocked. i can fastboot boot to twrp 3.6.2 then i flashed twrp without the issue, at twrp i can look what i got in the internal memory, at first i thought my miui corrupted, so decided to start fresh and flash miui eu last stable version, of course had to format, then wipe, when i flashed the rom no issue or error, but then after reboot still the same boot loop, tried to go to recovery and sometimes its hit or miss.
In the end the phone its not working fatsboot works completely but booting to system its not, and booting recovery works when its connected to the pc
Seriously dont know what to do

Just create an empty file named [email protected] in the log folder

try a version of miflash corresponding to the year of your phone or don't use Miflash, open the folder of the tgz file you extracted and use the Bat file"flash-all".

You haven't flashed anything because you must have an error at the end of the flash since you don't lock the bootloader.
Again, try a version of miflash corresponding to the year of your phone or don't use Miflash, open the folder of the tgz file you extracted and use the Bat file"flash-all"
tried the flash_all.bat but this appear
