LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Baseband requirement:
If you can't hang up, install this baseband via TWRP and it should be solved.
We don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
Known bugs:
Some minor bugs
Installation:
First time flashing LineageOS 16.0 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s)
Install a compatible Recovery, e.g., my TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-touch-recovery-t3309504
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data/factory reset
Flash LineageOS
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package, install the SU addon package(https://download.lineageos.org/extras, choose arm)
Reboot

How is it working for you now?
Worked Ok for me for couple of days but now hangs very often (mostly on using browser, gmail...)
Getting System UI isn't responding and similar.
Performed clean flash and using same apps as on LOS 15

Everything still works fine and fast. But: I don't use the Lineage implemented browser (since Lineage 15). I use Google Chrome Browser (with data reduction use) and this one doesn't hang itself up !!! I don't use any E-Mail on my phone cause I used it as a reserve phone. Which app do you use for Gmail ? Google app or Lineage app ? What is the Problem with the E-Mail ? Maybe I Can test. All other apps I use are working flued 100 %. I use mostly Youtube and TomTom Car Navigation and until now no hangups. (P.S. I have sent you PN)

Thanks for reply. I am not using built in browser but Firefox, tested with Dolphin also but it is even worse (Dolphin itself had freezing issue before, not sure i fthey resolved that.)
Mail app is Gmail, no issues on 15 with it.
Facebook using Lite and no issues there.
Using SD Maid Pro to clean system, maybe that caused issues. Will see how it behaves in the next days.

You Can test opera lite or Google browser. maybe it's better. And use the Lineage Mail app I think this is the best. I have Gapps pico. There is no Google Mail App included. I think in Android 9 it is not necessary to use any cleaning apps.

Still same with Opera Mini and built in e-Mail client.
I am also using Pico gapps
Tried also Low RAM enabler but don't see any difference. Like it is not supported by LOS.
Will wait for new build and reflash

Have you tried Google browser ? I Can surf with Google Browser and no hang ups. Can you describe what and when it happens ?

I don't think that playing games on this Smartphone is very useful. First You should try the original ROM first how it behaves. Don't expect better Performance.

Some statisctics in usage for G620S-L01 with this ROM: after display usage of 1 h 13 min. the battery Shows 47 %. Standby time 35 hours until now. Connections: Wifi on and 4G Network booked in all the time.

After installing L Speed and applying tweaks it does not freeze as much as it did. It does happen sometimes, browsing, gmail, navigation ... but far less

This is really strange, as I do not have any freezes until now, only when I use the implemented lineage browser I have this Problems. All other Apps are working perfect, also my favorite TomTom Navigaton with all downloaded Navigation maps of Europe on SD-Card.

The implemented browser works fine,faster than Chrome (may be Chrome need too much resources as this phone is outdated).both in Los 14 and 15,Chrome always crash when downloading .

I will test the implemented browser again, if it hangs I will Report,.
