Hello Guys,
I'm having a problem using a ported pixel 3 gcam on my kenzo , everytime that I capture an image on HDR+ my phone will suddenly hang and won't respond and the only way to fix that hang issue is to force restart the phone. I'm running HavocOS 2.2 Pie and it seems like everything that I use even those recommended by some youtubers for the Redmi Note 3 won't work. Does anyone here can give me a link for a stable Pixel 3 Gcam with Night Sight working? Thank you in advance and God Bless!

U need 3gb ram.
U increase it by enabling zram.
flash magisk 18.1 zip and install kernel adioutor from playstore to enable zram to 1gb.
And try using gcam. Check if its working

Hello again! , I did joined into that telegram group and I didn't find a fully working pixel 3 gcam port but what I do notice is that everytime it starts processing HDR+ my phone will stop processing and won't respond anymore , I didn't encounter any of this problem before updating Google Photos. It looks like Google Photos were the one causing me problem

I usually enable the black fix on the FIX option, Enable NS on 8.1 (though doesn't make difference on Pie Roms) on BSG settings , have you tried it? did it crashed? or something while processing HDR+?

it just crash on launch, maybe need to edit build.prop but I don't really care, anyway using this phone only temporarily
@Black_Stark , so after a month of searching and testing for a stable pixel 3 gcam unluckily I didn't found one (for 2gb kenzo) but what I did noticed is that everytime I launch the GCAM (6.1.021) System UI will stop responding causing the lag and freezing , and after taking a picture and starts processing the hdr+ the same problem occurs which is the System UI will stop responding , do you know anything about this? any workaround? thanks in advance!

U can try ur gcam on excrima x27 kernel.
Aex , havoc rom latest stock kernel is x27 which comes with zram enabled by default.
U must undestand that Camera need more ram for processing hdr images.
If u r fond of portrait, night mode and all that stuff then buy new phone with 4gb ram .
I dont use gcam. I m happy with default cam on havoc.
Or u can try 5.1 gcam version instead of 6.1 series. It is stable. But wont get night mode on that. Only portrait mode and hdr.

A few days back a new version of the app was released on app mirror.
There is no official statement whether this update is for which one of the device but I've found out that it works perfectly on OnePlus 3/3T/5. Just on the 3/3T a few things that OnePlus 5 has are not present due to hardware limitations.
This update has- A complete UI overhaul ( much intuitive according to me ) and a little quality improvement as reported by few people.

Working ok so far for me too. Has anyone seen any improvement with motion blur when taking pictures of moving objects? It's one of the only annoying things about the OnePlus 3T camera and I haven't managed to find an app that improves picture quality there...

Only the gcam port doesn't have the blur and as for me this app update has increased the blur.
An OP2 user lurking here in OP3T forum, but the OP Camera 2.4.17 seems to work also on OP2

I did notice that in landscape if you pull up the menu, 2 of the options are cut off though.
Works wonderfully, excellent on the 3T with Android O. Only 2 issues I have are the landscape menu 2-options cut-off that the-blind-bandit noticed and also the pictures taken that show at the bottom-right when clicked on do not open Google Photos (I don't have the OnePlus Gallery installed) and so it just says No Photos when I click on that. The pics are still taken / saved and can be opened in Google Photos later. Minor annoyance, not usage-breaking.

My VoLTE gave up a few times when I flashed same version over again, came back again after full reset.

In my case it affects Wifi calling!
Now I've found the time to do a full reset. Wifi calling is working again. Thanks @fregor!!!

Hello, I have updated my honor 9 to both android and emui 8 and since than the first card in gallery app that is named Photos has not updated with a single photo I have taken with phone's original camera app nor a screenshot even tho they all show up in the card Albums in their folders. Is anyone experiencing this issue as well?

I'm having the same issue. I can see my photos are still there, via a file manager, but cannot access them through Gallery any more (only new photos taken since the update). Also these photos are no longer available in other apps either (like Instagram). Would love to know a fix for this. Thx.

A simple reboot restored all the missing folders for me. I love/hate when it's just that simple.

You need to install camera 2 api its work on my devices
It's a good option for non root users. Quality of pics taken with front camera is better than that of stock cam. Portrait mode doesn't work as of now. One plus camera is also a good option but Nokia camera has some extra features which makes it supports over the op camera app.

Slow motion Driver is missing in our device so No true slow motion , if some one can port drivers from mi max or mi mix le 2 devices we can enjoy slow motion . asus is not capable to deliver slowmotion on this omnivision sensor 16880 which present in 6gb max pro m1 .and zenfone 4 max pro

Is VoLTE/WiFi or IMS services working on 17.1? It's quite literally the only reason I'm still on stock based as in the office building I work there's limited 3G reception and I usually rely on VoWiFi.

Well, no that's why I asked as all the other builds list it as not working yet this one doesn't list it at all. Was just curious. The last Sammy I had was a Note 3 so..
And my old OP5 did have it working on LOS hihi.

Ok, I found a bug: it isn't possible to hide navbar and notification bar. If xou select this option, the app lineageos setup crashed. Extended desktop doesn't work.
Btw. Is it possible to get dark theming for telefon, messager, contacts app? Maybe a other theming engine like substratum or hexinstaller?
I saw Vendor is only for NoForceEncrypt. What if i wanted forced encrypt, where to get the img file. Thank you, please.

You misunderstand that! With this vendor file you can select without and with encryption! See security setup!
Without that file, encryption is set to on all the time!

1 - seems to be an issue with lineage at the moment as far as we can tell. (aswell as a few other bugs in their trees at the moment)
2+3 - works fine for me and all the other n9/s9/s9+ users of this rom on telegram, mailbox set the correct number by default for me and i can edit it aswell just tried, loudspeaker/bluetooth speaker is working fine for calling.
Feel free to share logcat if possible, would be interesting to see what has broken it on your setup and not for anyone else, thanks

No clue, wait for lineage to update them in their repos i guess, i don't like 3rd party theming apps.

Why is it not mentioned in the instructions that Flashable_G96XF_Firmware_TWRP_DTAD_r2.zip is needed to be able to boot? Without it, a boot loop occurs.
Also, "Hey Google" isn't working properly. It turns itself off after enabling it. I used Open GApps nano. Someone got it working?

If you read, you can see I clearly tell you that Q BL is required. A lot of people are unable to read in 2020 it seems.

I previously flashed BL_G960FXXU7DTB4.zip from the Telegram channel before flashing the ROM itself. I see that there's now a new BL on the channel: DTAA instead of DTB4. IDK if flashing the DTB4 BL instead of DTAA could've been the reason I wasn't able to boot earlier without flashing the firmware zip.
I'd rather not and discuss it here. When I toggle the "Hey Google" switch on, go back a page to Assistant settings and go back to Assistant Devices > Phone again, the switch is turned off. Even during the time the switch stays on if I stay on the page, Hey Google can't be triggered.
