Try booting in recovery again via Fastboot.
- Install Minimal ADB & Fastboot setup (search on Google or XDA)
- Go in Fastboot mode of phone and connect it to PC
- Open command prompt and go to the folder location where minimal ADB is installed
- Type:
fastboot devices
- You should see your device listed with some Alpha-numeric code
- Copy TWRP by Vashishth or official TWRP .img file in the Minimal ADB installation folder
- type:
fastboot boot your-recovery-file-name.img
If your bootloader is not locked, you should be able to see phone rebooted in TWRP else you might need to unlock bootloader again.
Also if in TWRP Install commands are not working, try "Format Data" it is different from Wiping Data partition, Format Data will clear all of your internal storage including photos and videos and files.
After that you can download ROM or your PC and try installing it by sideloading it via adb command.
Good luck!

Than it seems like yoir bootloader is locked.
Try using Xiaomi's Unlock Tool again, beware, it will wipe all of yoir internal storage as well.

How do I boot into EDL mode & how to check anti-roll back is on?, anyway to disable it?. I updated my phone to 10.2.3 couple of days back from then on, the network speed is horrible. Although I unlocked my bootloader as soon as I got my phone(I am an early adopter), I never flashed TWRP. Now when I try to flash TWRP to move to a custom ROM, I'm always getting same error as OP. All the drivers are installed, I can see my device in fastboot devices but it just refuses to flash TWRP. I can see bootloader status is unlocked!!.

My OPX cannot be recognized by windows 10.HELP

Hello friends,
I have an OPX and I did some mistakes with it during my attemp to update it to the latest Oxygen 3.1.3.
I had stock rooted 2.1.2 Oxygen OS with Kingroot and TWRP installed. I downloaded the zip of the ROM
for 3.1.3 from Oneplus and tried to flash it. It came up an error so I wiped system cache and data and tried again
but the same errors came up. Then I tried to flash the stock recovery .img file from TWRP to get the stock recovery
and try to flash the ROM from there. When I attempted to flash the stock recovery it asked me about the partition
I wanted to install it and I chose recovery.Installation seemed successfull and I rebooted to recovery. After that I had
no recovery and no system to boot. When I try to boot to recovery I only get the oneplus logo. When I try to boot to
system I get oneplus logo and "Powered by android" at the bottom. Fastboot mode seems ok. So I thought i could flash
everything back with adb BUT no tool or program recognizes correctly in any mode.In device manager of windows 10
the device is listed under "Kedacom Usb device" section with name "Android Bootloader Interface".
Please Help me.

Can only boot into fastboot or stock recovery

Hi. so today i thought i would try to unlock bootloader and root then install a custom rom. I got everything ready on windows 8.1 . managed to unlock the bootloader and then when to flash twrp. Now the error i made is instead of flashing twrp i booted into it. I then proceeded to make the necessary wipes and then went to mount phone to pc so i could transfer the zip for the new rom and the phone just wouldnt show up on my pc. I tried eveything. So now i can only do 2 thing.s Boot into fastboot or into stock reocvery which offers 2 choices. update with update zip already placed in phone or clear data. When i boot into fastboot and then connect hpone and opem command prompt then type adb usb it starts daemon then says devices. In device manager it shows adb interface fine. So what can i do now as i need this phone to work as dont have a spare. How can i get it to let me use adb usb properly so i can flash twrp and then flash rom. It currently has no os on phone. Is there a way to flash via the phone itself? Also if i let it boot up it auto matically open stock reocvery. Can anyone please help asap thanks.
Heyyo, @dead4ngel
Derp! Just figured it out. Once you're in fastboot you don't use adb devices command, it changes to stuff like fastboot devices
Hence there's an adb.exe and a fastboot.exe
So for example once you're in fastboot on your phone and you plug in your usb cable? To flash TWRP you would do this on your command prompt
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
by chance have you tried this guide? Worked for me
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/protocol-backup-stock-rom-flash-stock-t3517151/

If you experience fingerprint reader issues when your device is asleep please flash an updated version of the modem firmware. I know it sounds odd but it does affect fingerprint reader performance when the device is asleep.
Chinese 26s 05.09 from here works good
https://yadi.sk/d/woKdrlRrv8yhr/Китай
But others have preferred developer 466D from here
https://yadi.sk/d/woKdrlRrv8yhr/Для разработчиков
Modem firmware is separate from the ROM so you can flash them freely without risk of wiping out your ROM
Try each for a few days and see which one works best for you

Can't get into recovery to flash updated rom

Hi all,
I appear to have done something wrong when flashing my device with boombox and flashing twrp. I seem not to be able to access recovery so I can update my boombox rom. I have tried button combinations, I have tried fastboot boot twrp.img in bootloader which just reboots my system, I have tried booting directly from home screen using adb which registers an error and I have tried re-flashing but unfortunately I cannot access recovery.
Any way I can get into recovery without erasing my data?

If you're rooted, give the reboot recovery app you installed after bootloader unlock root privileges.
If not then use the exact same PC ADB commands to boot to TWRP like during bootloader unlock.
I'm confused why you mention flashing TWRP after Boombox. Surely you didn't do that. You already had TWRP.
I am rooted, Recovery reboot just reboots the phone, I have tried to get into twrp by reinstalling but again does the same things just reboots the system after the corruption warning screen. I've also tried to install from the bootloader with the fastboot boot twrp.img command but it simply says waiting for device.
Sorry turns out I was flashing the wrong file from another tutorial, I was flashing 3.1.1 instead of 3.2.1

Then you didn't follow my bootloader unlock and root guide. I never mention that other TWRP, much less link to it.
You're going to have to load into Download mode and use fastboot commands, but you say you couldn't get past flashing TWRP.
Uninstall the LG Mobile Driver if you have them, then reinstall.
1st, reboot into OS, then open up Device Manager and change view to Show hidden devices. You should see a new category named 'ADB Interface' and underneath that 'Fastboot Interface (Google USB ID)'.
If not, you will also see 'ADB Device' for Other Devices category:
right click that to update driver software ---> Browse my computer for driver software ---> Let me pick from a list... ---> Show all Devices ---> Have Disk ---> Browse ---> C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LG Mobile Driver ---> 'lgandbus' ---> 'LGE ADB Mobile Interface'
Download adb/fastboot software, download Joan TWRP 3.2.1 img file and place it in adb/fastboot folder, then send your phone into Download mode:
Open up cmd and type the following after changing directory to Adb/fastboot folder: fastboot devices (see if your device is there), fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img or (whatever file is named).img, then fastboot boot TWRP.img or (whatever file is named).img

tried to flash firmware, cant do anything now

Hi all,
The story is that I had Linage flashed, but it said it was time to update the firmware, so I tried to do that.
I booted in twrp and flashed the most recent firmware. I had plenty of power on the battery. But after it finished it booted into a classic miui interface. From here it only got worse. It asked for my password which I entered several times, but it was incorrect.
What I tried was to clear the storage. But I get the same error when it boots - it boots into miui, then shortly after a google load screen and then it reboots.
I tried downloading the mi flash tool. But when I connect the phone and locate the file, the screen has just one line in the corner saying something like "press any key to reboot".
With the adb command it doesn't seem like there is actually made a connection.
I do not really care which OS you suggest I install, as long as it at least can get it up and running again.
------------------
I just got it into fastboot and it goes fine with fastboot devices where I can see that it is connected, but when I enter fastboot flash recovery twrp.img then the phone reboots with an error code in the cmd window saying:
"FAILED (Write to device failed (Unknown error))
fastboot: error: Command failed"
Any suggestions to what I can do? Can it be the twrp image that is causing the issue?

This will work with any Android 10 custom ROM
If you want to stay unencrypted, you have to use dfe (disable force encryption). I have never used it, but if you want it try to get one without magisk.
1. 11.0.6 is the latest firmware. You can download it from here:https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/beryllium/
2. You have to format your internal storage.
3. Steps: go to recovery (press back when it asks for password)->wipe->format data (it will ask you to type "yes")-> wipe system, data, internal storage, cache, davlik cache
Copy firmware, rom, gapps, dfe into your internal storage, flash firmware (most ROMs include vendor but flash full firmware just to be sure), ROM, gapps, dfe and reboot.

Twrp!
You flash firmware as a normal zip.
I understand that twrp works for you.
If it doesn't, flash twrp through fastboot and then proceed as i mention above
Thanks for your replies.
The problem I have is that fastboot does not really seem to work.
When I try to do a fastboot command I get the error that goes:
"Sending 'recovery' (31068 KB) FAILED (Write todevice failed (Unknown error))
fastboot:error: Command failed"
Also, I just tried the Mi unlock tool and it seems that it cannot create a connection with the usb cable - so could that be the reason that I cannot flash it?

When everything is ready and you have pressed flash, THEN boot into fastboot and connect the cable
Edit: you also might have relocked your bootloader. If what I mention above doesn't work, unlock your bootloader again with the unlock file Xiaomi originally sent you.

The phone doesn't boot into a system, and currently as I load fastboot whenever the connection to the computer is made it goes to a screen saying 'press any key to turn off'.
I did notice, though, that after I from recovery wipe all data, then in the first boot it encrypts the phone. But it never manages to get the OS up and running.

You most likely had your bootloader re-locked. You have to unlock it again
sorry for the late reply.
I downloaded MiFlashPro, and apparently I could flash miui 11. So far, so good. But as I tried to flash or even boot into twrp I got the same command as I used to.
Can the issue be because I maybe don't have the latest drivers installed?

Do you have all the drivers installed on your pc ?
ADB and Fasboot drivers. And try using usb 2.0 ports. Mi tools have issues with usb 3.0 ports. And You should be on an Intel processor. You can also try twrp 3.3.1 beta by @Reignz.

Question Unable to mount storage when trying to ADB sideload

I can't install any rom, ADB sideload fails with this error:
Unable to mount storage.
Devices on super may not mount until rebooting recovery.
To flash additional zips, please reboot recovery to switch to the updated slot.
I already tried to switch the slots many times.
I also tried to format data, but it tells me:
E: unable to check merge status
Updating partition details...
...done
Unable to mount storage
I can access the recovery and the factory-reset android, but i can't do anything more.
I think the problem is relative to encryption but I can't even format data, so I don't know how to escape this...
Now I can't even access the rom, I can only access TWRP and fastboot. The problem is that format data does not work, with the same error:
E: unable to check merge status
I tried repairing and changing filesystem, now I don't really know what to do...

Switching slots directly in recovery is not functional. Just look after switching what the active slot is and you will see that it has not changed. Do the slot switching with the fastboot command from the PC.

yes, I was using these commands to switch slots. but when it is necessary to switch slots in the flashing process? I mean, what is the correct order? format - flash rom with adb - reboot to fastboot - switch slot - reboot to system...is this correct?
Slot swapping may not be required. Do it only when it is requested or when the boot crashes into recovery.

Now I have a problem with fastboot...I don't know why but it can't boot any recovery...

and nothing happens! I tried with TWRP and OrangeFox.
I also tried to change slot but it fails:
fastboot --set-active=a
Setting current slot to 'a' FAILED (remote: 'unknown command')
fastboot: error: Command failed

The command 'Fastboot reboot' gives me a black screen with a white message: 'any key to shutdown', then the phone reboots to system...

Redmi Note 10 64GB/4GB, I think the codename is sunny because I have the global/european version. Do you need more?
I think the best step is to upload the original Miui using MiFlash with the "clear all" setting.
Use this version of MiFlash.
You can get the right Miui here.
Before using MiFlash, I recommend loading the boot.img included in the downloaded Miui into your phone in fastboot mode.
Use the command:
fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b boot.img
Then use MiFlash and don't play Miui. Wait until the phone starts itself, then you can disconnect it.
If anything is not clear, ask questions.

Actually I'm already in a original MIUI and it is working. My pc is on linux so I can't use MiFlash but I used XiaomiADBFastbootTools (a kind of MiFlash tool for linux). Can I start from here or I have to install the MIUI version you linked?
The only thing is that I didn't specifically load the boot.img
Unfortunately I don't know the Linux version of MiFlash. They may not work equivalently. It needs to properly clean all the partitions of the phone and load all the files supplied in the ROM.
I recommend to use the Miui listed by me.
