Just wanted to know where you bought your Note 3 Pro from?

Im thinking of buying it from Aliexpress from some reputable sellers(i think), but idk...
I was gonna buy from GearBest but read some bad reviews.
Should i pay for DHL or something shipping to New Zealand - so that it gets here fast and safer?

Hello fellow kiwi!
I got my Redmi Note 3 through Aliexpress - this seller here:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig...xa-Core-5-5-3GB-RAM-32GB-ROM/32597684693.html
It was dispatched with tracking number within 2 days, and I got it within a week to the UK. I think it's similar timeframe to ship to NZ. Excellent customer service

Yeah, unfortunately they do. But there's a method posted here that let's you unlock it without waiting for Xiaomi to send you the code. As long as you're on MIUI, you can flash stuff and root without much problems tho.

Just ordered the phone here. Feel like a kid at Christmas time. I paid the 25 dollars for DHL shipping, so I'm promised it'll be here within 4 to 8 working days. Looking forward to playing with this device! I'll let you know how long the wait was.

Well the site that I gave has EU warehouse for some equipments it took 2 working days to arrive; If you select EU clearance for selected equipments no VAT/Customs will be charged in PT;
If you don't select EU Clearance items will be sent for HK and then if you select shipment through DHL, DHL will be in charge of customs and VAT fees; Through normal Currier will be a matter of "luck" that the package is checked in Customs Control;

Buying in China?

I'm going to the Beijing area later this month. I'm thinking about picking up an Amazfit in a store. It should be easy enough to change it into English firmware or PACEify it.
Has anyone bought it in a store in China? I wonder which stores are selling it - any electronics store or just Xiaomi branded stores and what price to expect?
Don't know what price are at in China but I got mine online for $104 us dollars.
I'm Europe based, and in order to avoid VAT and admin. fees by importing from US or China-based online webshops I have to buy through Europe-based resellers - and then the price is something like >$200 according to my research. So it would just be easier (cheaper), when I am in China to buy one there if possible.

I'm based in europe and the price I paid was £82 from gearbest and also geekbuying (I bought 2 amazfits).
You don't pay any VAT or admin tools from either of those retailers if you just choose the standard delivery method,.

Where are you in europe?
I bought through gearbest, with "priority shipping to Germany" .
It comes at their price, no additional tax, it's €88,88 atm

UK.
I'm in Denmark. So gearbest ship from within the EU? Maybe I'll look it up.
Though still traveling to China so if anyone have information about getting one of these out there let me know.
Check with some aliexpress seller (sort by number of orders) and ask them from what town they are. Maybe you will be near them, so you can make personal deal. Or just order from aliexpress and put the adress for delivery where you will be in that time. Easy as that
You can do same with Gearbest/geekbuyibg, etc.

Yes gearbest ship to the EU. Though recently I've had a better experience with geekbuying (their shipping was much faster)
I think buying online would actually end up being less hassle than buying in China, and I'm not convinced there would be a huge saving anyway. At least with buying online you have some protection and after sales support.

No they are not shipping from the EU, but they have found a way to avoid for you to pay taxes.
Probably won't last after brexit, as it is rumored that they ship via UK and then avoid taxes at all.
Just a short update. I ended up buying Amazfit Pace from the Xiaomi store in the shopping mall 'Modern Plaza' (https://goo.gl/maps/ETduKM7SLcw) in Beijing. Easily accessed by the subway.
The unit price was 799 Yuan. No problems by installing English firmware and updating to 1.3.4f.
I did look for it other places but couldn't find it anywhere. I found most resellers only had a few Xiaomi phones and sometimes more simpler fitness trackers.

Where can you get this tablet?

Looks like it's now been released but I can't find any links to buy it online. Anyone have a link?
Try searching on Aliexpress for "Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 tablet", I found a few results but I'm not sure what link posting limits I have.
This seems to be the most comprehensive list of sellers currently available http://www.china-prices.com/tablet/12754/xiaomi-mi-pad-4
https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-xiaomi-mi-pad-4
Sent from my takee 1 using XDA Labs
So I presume that the tablet from Xiaomi Retail Store on Aliexpress is legit?
I am Chinese and I have bought one.
As far as I know, it is only available for sale in China for the time being.
If you want to buy it, you can check it out at the online XiaoMi Mall.
There is still a need for an appointment and then a snap. However, we can make a reservation and purchase it in offline XiaoMi stores when it is in stock.
In condition to these, we can also search TaoBao for scalpers.

Hi ,do you have one? How about battery, screen 9n time and standby drain? Thanks
Available for everyone on AliExpress
I bought a black MiPad 4 (3GB+Wifi Only) about a week ago. It's wasn't available on Gearbest at the time and the "pre-purchased" option was at 800$ cad but they did have it on AliExpress at a decent price (300$cad)
Here's a link to the AliExpress page:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...958.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.43f24c4d0lB66W
Hope this helps people buy it at a decent price.

Where to buy the Poco F1 in Pune

I'll be in India for three days next month, and I'm interested in buying this cellphone. Is there any physical store I can go to? Or maybe I could order the phone from flipkart in advance and ship it to my hotel. What's the best option? Thank you!

Flipkart is your best option offline stores will help black marketing and may cost you 500,1000rs more.
Flipkart or mi.com/in is your best option, there are also official xiaomi stores in which you can buy it at the same price as online, complete list of stores is available on official xiaomi website(https://mobile.mi.com/in/service/mihome/)
Also note that only the 6+128 GB model is available for open sale, for any other model you can only buy it once a week(generally Wednesday at 12 noon)
