Instructions
personally ported this custom rom is different installation like other rom,, read carefully!!
1. Download the ROM from Downloads
2. Extract inside folder..named "crDroidAndroid-7.1.2"
and place it in external sd card.. Must place extracted folder in this path
/storage/sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/Moto_C/
3. Wipe everything execpt SDcard (Internal memory is optional).
4.Next Restore ,,Choose provided file ,located in sdcard
5.Tick all 3files system,boot,nvram..and swipe it.
6.Wait for restore complete..& then wipe dalvik cache..
5. Reboot.

It was already unchecked, still no luck. All other gestures work fine, only the recents does not.
EDIT: If I set the action to recent apps switcher in the crDroid settings to a long press on the digital scanner it works. Apparently the problem is with the moto actions fingerprint gestures. Still pretty strange since all moto action gestures work just fine.

a password, normally it's your google account, at home it works properly, what version of the gapps do you use?
Sorry I couldn't figure out the problem so I factory reset the device and installed the ROM again now it works so accept the recent moto action this ROM is lovely and provides a lot of option to configure your device and has much better performance than stock rom
I'm unable to play local music off my SD card. Is this a known issue?
It says it's playing but nothing happens and the song stays at 0:00.
This happens on the stock player and BlackPlayer Ex.

Try with Footej camera.
I have 4 problems
First Bluetooth didn't turn on
Then after restart device didn't boot up I had to turn off it again to start boot
3rd camera 2 API didn't work at all only shows black screen
4 when I lock the screen by power button and try to open it again it shows black screen I have to do so many times

For the black screen, just turn off ambient display. Works fine after that.

Almost succeeded.
I was able to install and start the ROM but, once started the phone during the configuration of "Google" it restarts continuously every 5 seconds.

This thread is for older version, but sourceforge link is still the same though, but it's better to leave this thread and move to one for ver. 3.0.
Answering your question: can tell you that at least previous version from october 22nd was working fine when flashed over latest stock miui, don't remember exact version i had. But you'll have to wipe data for sure. For latest build from yesterday i can't say, just started downloading it.
