Yeah. The boot screen has changed. There is new Holi effect in portrait mode of rear camera. That's all I found till now.

I saw the new splashscreen too, but I wasn't sure if that was a new addition since I didn't really pay attention to it booting before this

Soon.
When I met with Anuj (Xiaomi India's head of marketing) some time back, he mentioned that they have an internal goal to release the sources within 3 months, but they have been trying to do it as soon as possible. The Redmi Note 7 got its kernel code released a day or two ago, so I expect the Note 7's to come by next week (guesstimate on my end).

The main difference is that this update solved the earpiece distortion issue in some of the devices. The sound though the earpiece is also increased.

Callers hearing echo in redmi note 7 pro even after miui 10.2.7.0 update
Callers are hearing echo whenever they call me..on NORMAL calls as well as whatsapp or messenger calls.. The mi customer service said that they have fixed the issue with update but it's still there..
This is the replacement set that i got from Flipkart. The previous handset also had the same problem

Hello. I am from the Philippines and Redmi Note 7 Pro will not be launced here (a tech journal asked mi philippines during the note 7 released). If I am to import a chino rom of the pro version, can I install this global rom?

Yes, u can install
global on chinese version ONLY AFTER u unlock bootloader. Get the fasboot rom (as i did) and be ready to install it after boot unlock via fastboot.

Do I need twrp when intalling via fastboot? Can you point me in a guide? Lastly, is global stable better than emui? Thank you so much for your patience

I am facing battery stats bug. I used the device for more than 10 hours (11AM till now). Are you too?

I just got my Redmi Note 7 Pro 6/128.. is there any way of installing Global Stable with locked bootloader? It came with Stable Chinese ROM..
Edit: Tried the "Choose update package" in updater app but didn't work. Getting "Can't verify update! Sorry, flash older verion is not allowed".. ?

I see.. I just want to flash global stable right away..no problem with unlocking but I have to wait 360 hours before unlocking the bootloader.. how about mi flash tool through deep fash cable or the diy flash cable?

Normally I flash custom ROMs but want to give Global a try.
If I flash following the instructions given. Will it then automatically update to global OTA updates or each time would I have to flash via Fastboot?

How does global ROM exist if xiaomi didn't release global version? Is this ROM not made by xiaomi? User-made?

It should work without flashing via fastboot. From my experience at least on my mi 5

It's an official Global stable ROM for Indian market..
