A new bootloader unlocking method? - Huawei Mate 20 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi,
Did anyone try this method for unlocking bootloader :
http://www.droidthunder.com/unlock-bootloader-of-huawei/

I downloaded al the files just in case they take it offline.
BTW the part to get the unlock code looks kinda harmless to me entering it back in to unlock.... I guess that is the tricky part

No, even the uncracked version doesn't work. (I still had credits from my Mate 9) I tried that months ago.

You should send an email to Huawei customer service and make sure that this is the key...
If they provide the same key, I think you will need DC unlocker then.

Huawei ID used for more than 14 days, can't obtain unlock code. What can I do?

It's been more than 14 days that I have been using a Huawei ID on my GR5/5X. However, the website still says that the ID hasn't been used for more than 14 days. What can I do about it? Is there anything related to location for this? Please help me out, I really need to unlock my bootloader. Thanks in advance!
Wait for another day, it's probably a mistake from the website

Wait let me think.... sim lock is carrier related in that your device only allows certain sims. Therefore your device is locked down to a carrier, unless I've completely misunderstood!

Its working for only one company sim cards. So yeah if I dont have this sim card from this company it wont work.. There is way to pay like o 4-5$ to unlock it. But wanted to ask if there is any free solution.

I edited my original post but it doesn't edit the quoted posts. Sorry for any misinformation. I guess you have to use a desktop instead of phone to get to the bootloader unlock site. -- for that gent looking to unlock -- I know they are turning it off. So even if he went to DCunlocker, they use Huawei to get the code, so once Huawei takes down the site, it's my understanding you won't be able to use DCunlocker either any longer for Huawei.
