Downgrading firmware - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a galaxy tab A sm-t380 and I'm trying to downgrade the firmware from 7.1.1 to 6.0. I looked online and the only firmware I could find was the latest firmware or the second to oldest firmware. Does anyone here know where I can get older firmware for this particular tablet? Any help is much appreciated.

The tablet came out in 2017 so this tablet is too new for offcail 6.0 and this device has no custom roms so I can't help you.

[Q] Android 4.0.x Stock ROM for P7510?

Hi,
I am trying to get my German Galaxy Tab 10.1 (first one sold) back to its original firmware. All I can find on sammobile.com is the "Open Europe" version of Android 3.1 for the P7510. Installing this, I don't get any software update from Samsung. Where can I get Android 4.0.x for the device?
cheers

[Q] G925I - os 5.0.2 how to know if firmware downgradable

Hi All,
How to know if firmware can be downgraded or not. For example if am on firmware/Baseband G925IDVU1BOE3; is there a way to know if it can be downgradable to "G925IDVU1AOD1" or "G925IDVU1AOE2" before hand.
FYI: I downgraded from G925IDVU1BOE3 to G925IDVU1AOE2 only after doing it practically via odin. So the question is: Is there a way to know if we can downgrade firmware without doing it practically. I asked this question in other post and people are not much aware of it. So thought of starting a new thread.
Also how to know that we can't downgrade from 5.1.1 to 5.0.2?
Thanks ,
Richa

Hi,
The downgrade patch/exploit is fixed in 5.1.1 and there is no way to downgrade it. (As I read in few posts including Ping Pong root OP). If u are in 5.0.2 then u can downgrade to any firmware within 5.0.2.

The reason it says your on the latest firmware is because you are rooted. At&t firmware is hard to come by as they lock the bootloader and device down. If you are not bothered about root flash stock firmware and you can uodate OTA.
I have the same problem except that my phone is not rooted, im on stock AT&T Android 5, but it still says i have the latest firmware.
Someone told me that it has to be connected to AT&T cell towers to find the update but even that didn't work for me.

I will give it a shot but first i need to find the stock firmware because its hard to find for my device specifications, and i will let you know if it worked for me
Edit: flashing the stock firmware locks phone to only at&t network since i use different network i will not try to update it

Are you not concerned about soft-bricking your phone when you attempt to roll back its firmware version to that?
