OEM Battery? - Xperia Z2 Accessories

Hey guys I bought a second hand z2 and the battery was not in a good condition so I bought a battery from AliExpress but it was completely disappointment. It hardly gives 3 hours of SOT and I have to charge it 3 times at a day. So I want to ask you about which battery you are using, how much SOT's you are having and where should I buy a new battery.
Here is the link of the battery that I bought: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...&terminal_id=e941c7f950a147eea06e45de7723cd72

My advice to you is contact your local service to gain original OEM battery if available but the price of replacement can be expensive as you expected. I replaced my battery for a suitable price in my local service last week and my battery gives SOT over 5 30 hours in my usage just like the time when I bought it

[Q] [Advice?] Best high capacity battery for x10MiniPro? (BST-38)

Looking to buy a high capacity battery for my x10 mini pro.
Maybe 1500-2500 mah?
I know there are alot of duds out there...
I'm looking at these right now:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GOLD-BST-38-B...otn=15&po=LCA&ps=63&clkid=7085760772320994471
http://www.dinodirect.com/sony-ericsson-s500-business-battery-1500mah-deji.html?cur=EUR
Any links/advice would be great!
All i'm going to say is, Non sony-ericsson battery may cause damage to your device, use it carefully and give us a feedback if it works, or don't.
I bough one for my old Nokia 8310 and it worked perfectly.
I bought the DEJI BST-38 from dinodirect, it comes in a very posh box but it doesnt last any longer than the stock battery.
Ok, well I bought two batteries online and I'm waiting for them to arrive in the coming days...
I don't have the details of each at hand but I hope to test them for you when I get them.

I'd be interested in your results. I just got my x10 mini pro and have already noticed that the battery doesn't last long. Same as my old Nokia n95 and before that a SE p800... eventually both these phones got decent higher power batteries available... I'll wait till I get a few reports. Maybe someone could build a thicker back case and a bigger battery?
What we must know is : is it a lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery
Because, Li-Ion last longer, but they get warm quickly
Li-Polymer are quite the same, but they stay cold.
Oh... The battery performance are quite the same between those two

Hmmm last time I checked there was nothing on ebay for mini/pro battery!
Can u give all the statistics of the battery?
how could a battery of the same size provide almost three times the capacity of the stock one? maybe it's because it uses the new Li-bull**** technology

Sure, here it is:
Made in Japan
2 year warranty
Utra-high capacity battery
Maximises time between charges
Delivers superior performance
Robust & durable battery
Direct battery replacement
Stable and safe to use
No memory effect
Uses Li-poly technology
Capacity: 2430mAh
Its not your li-ion battery crap that overheats and causes the mini to reboot, its li-poly.
With reports of 1930mh lasting for 6 days with one charge, im guessing 2430mah could last 8 - 10 days =)

does it work for mini or just for mini pro?
I just googled a little about gold batteries from Japan. samsunggalaxysforums.com/archive/index.php/t-3856.html?
found a thread where samsung galaxy user tried gold battery and it lasted much more than stock. If i remember in a heavy usage user managed to get abou 3 hours with stock and more than 5 hours with gold battery. It seems that original batteries cost about 20 usd for piece.
I will try to buy one and test it because the one of my mini pro doesn't last more thant 4 hours with heavy use (3g umts 24/7 online, push for twitter, gmail, listening to music in streaming. or watching videos from the sd. and the battery in my phone is of 970 mAh Li-ion and it overheat fast .w.

Wow 4 hours thats bad!
Then again mine is probably that bad too...the heaviest I use it is having 3G/wifi on and chatting on facebook or whatsapp, perhaps whilst listening to music.
And yes, the battery drops at something like 1% every 3 minutes or so...its ridiculous!
Which is why I hardly ever use it heavily whilst im away from home - I'm scared it'll go flat while I'm out!
I'm seriously considering getting an Iphone as my next phone now, because android phones in general do not last a normal day under heavy use...whilst my friends with their Iphone 4s constantly have 3G on, with their large screen on nearly full brightness, constantly checking facebook and chatting over the internet...yet their batteries last the day quite easily....
if you will buy from ebay than look there cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200532787453&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_3017wt_1251&clk_rvr_id=248408890642

Did you got your battery already?
Hi guys! My Gold 2430 mHa battery arrived about a week ago. I needed some tests before I could give my opinion.
I expected more than a 100% improvement from this battery compared to the 950 mHa standard battery, the facts say that I can get only from 30 to 60% improvement. At the evening, whereas I had 10-20% of charge, now I still have 30-40%.
I think it's possible that the phone stop charging too soon, when it get to a given level of charge, so I ordered an external charger (I hope it will arrive soon) to make more tests.
I am not sure, but it seems that the new battery full charges faster than the old one.
A notice: the battery is a bit longer than the stock one. I had to slice a little of plastic with a knife (less than a millimetre) to let it fit into the phone.

Good replacement batteries?

Hello all,
After two years my battery now cannot last for more than a few hours.
Do you guys have any shops/websites/sellers to recommend to buy a good battery for the Alpha (hopefully genuine Samsung, buying in the US)
The ones I've looked at from Amazon all look horrible with a bunch of fake 5 star reviews and the only genuine reviews being 1 star.
I'm not sure about US market but I've bought this battery 3 days ago http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mnuynow-2...635490?hash=item5b238f91e2:g:~BkAAOSw3mpXGDhv I'm after 3rd cycle discharge and charge and hold very nice. My original one couldn't reach till 4pm with full charge from 7am. And now I've reached 25h with almost 4hr SOT, 30min car Bluetooth, WiFi/3G 24H, gps/google maps 25min, youtube 20min, web browsing, few txt, ebay, 40 mins calls. I don't think it's 2500mAh as it is the same size as original one but I think it could be around real 2000mAh. I'm very happy with it
JuBaTec is a good brand. You can find it on eBay.
Also looking for an additional battery. I tried a cheap $5 battery from ebay, it had good battery life but started swelling after a few months and no NFC. Then I tried a "genuine Samsung OEM" $15 ebay battery: NFC doesn't work and it barely lasts longer than the original stock battery.

yea those gadfull batteries look good - although the link you posted wasn't for their note3 battery - but doesn't look like they ship outside the eu
i sold my note 3 because i couldn't get a new decent high quality battery. now i use j7 2016 and battery life is like x5 times better.

I have ordered a second one from them a month ago. First one lasted me 3,5 years (original one from Samsung died after six months) and is still holding charge pretty well. I got 4 hours of sot easily with 3,5 years old one. With new one 7-8 h. Very satisfied with them.
I bought battery made by Duracell over 6 months ago from Amazon. So far so good.
I have learned to avoid the "OEM" claimed batteries and still think Anker batteries were the most consistent I have had very good luck with
Sunzos

OhmniPax
https://www.ebay.com/itm/OhmniPax-R...xy-NOTE-3-3200mAh-Li-ion-Batter-/173184809222
I ended up getting a "4500mAh" MPJ branded battery off eBay for twenty bucks, as the better options up above don't ship to where I am at.
Appears to work about as good as 2 year old 3200mAh Ankers.
Identifies as 3200mAh as well.
1/3 refund commensurate with discrepancy no questions asked.
I guess they have to lie to stand out enough to even move a single unit.
Still using the original one, it still holding charge pretty well after 3.5 years of work (last 3 day, normal use)
Here's my anecdotal response.
I've used Anker batteries twice in my Note 3.
The first one started to fail, and was clearly bulging after about a year, so I disposed of it at a location allowed for battery disposal because I could literally see the OEM samsung case bulging from it expanding. It was never dropped, or exposed to extreme temperatures, and always in the samsung window case, or the otterbox defender (which may have increased the heat level without me knowing, but that's just speculative so take that with many grains of salt).
Having used Anker batteries many times before, I assumed the first replacement could have been a knockoff, or just from a bad batch, so I replaced it with another Anker of the type. Both were purchased on Amazon. I have had absolutely no issues with the second one, though I do feel the phone get warm when updating my ROM, etc, but that's to be expected. Aside from that the battery life has been very good, with a year and a half of use on it, and I never get concerned about daily use, out side of plugging it into a charger when doing gps/music for a long distance. Even without being plugged in, it stays pretty solid.
Full disclosure for my usage: I'm a light user during the day, aside from calendar, weather, 2 email addresses set to push, and 2 email addresses set to 15 minutes, a few texts, dropbox, drive, onenote, and google all on manual sync, and few phone calls. I'm also on lineage 7.1, rooted, xposed, and bloatware removed or blocked.
TLDR, my current Anker replacement works very well for my needs, but the first one did begin to fail to the point of it looking like it might go into a full failure at a dangerous level, so I can't be sure if it was a knockoff, a bad batch, or just bad luck.
I am using 6400mahs battery from ali express..gives two days easily
Trying Powerbear
Ordered a Powerbear last night directly from their site last night as that ended up being cheaper than Amazon. Hopefully this will allow my 2013 Note 3 to function a day with medium use.
Update: The Powerbear battery is working well. It came with instructions to fully charge and drain the battery a number of times to allow the system to calibrate things correctly. After following that process, I'm now easily seeing a day of battery life with medium use.
im still using my note 3 rooted on kitkat with the original battery 3200mah last all day at least
I'm using a new original battery that i got around 6 months ago. I get 5-6 hours screen on time.
OEM Samsung (if you need NFC)
I have always had the best performance with Samsung-branded OEM batteries. Some after-market batteries do NOT have the NFC antenna, so no NFC services . . .
One caveat though, watch out for used Samsung-branded batteries that are re-labeled to look like new. I had an instance that the battery I received was used and the case dented. The silver-black Samsung label had the corner near the bottom of the battery slightly folded back and crinkled. Also the electrical contacts showed signs of heavy use (wear and scratch marks). Luckily, the Amazon merchant replaced it with a genuine new Samsung battery in the original plastic case.
The prices seem to be getting better but eventually Samsung (or their OEM partner) will stop production (or maybe already has stopped), then the prices will be stratospheric . . . YMMV as always.
Trusted brand..sun global 3650mah capacity
But with no nfc
Im looking N9005 Battery +6400Mah with all resistance and good rated by users what do suggest;

Best Battery

Which battery is best for this phone? I have original and its really tragic. (sry for mx english...)
Original is always the best fit, it doesn't just die that easy, I've never replaced the battery since I got the phone, maybe you have OS issues?
It has just 2-3 hours on screen
And what rom are u using?
Your battery is probably worn out .

How long does it last totally?

Does anyone know of a reliable source to buy an original or equivalent quality battery?
I've had my note 3 since late 2013, replaced the original with another Samsung battery in 2016, but this 2nd one seems to be wearing out as well... Lots of use!
The problem is I can't find any reliable sources. Reviews on Amazon usually point to old batteries or ones that don't hold charge after a few months. Best Buy no longer carries them.
Any help is appreciated !

Dont be afraid of Amazon. I usually get my batteries from there and they usually last about a year or two but for 10 dollars a piece I dont mind paying that.
Anker batteries were the best and most reliable but the dont seem to be offered anymore that I can find. I had good success with PowerBear battery and Acevan Batteries.
A quick look at things seems that MaxBear makes a good and well rated battery! If you dont like it Amazon may give you a refund!
D-
You can talk to Samsung support, I got offered an original battery for $40 NZD and had to contact Samsung service centre to get one. Finding an original battery outside of Samsung is impossible because there is so many fake batteries.

Battery Swollen issue

Does anyone has battery swolen issue. Yesterday I noticed a little bump on back of my phone. On the right side on Poco logo. When I took my phone to service center they told me it's the battery that's Swollen and needs to be replaced at 2800 Rs. Iss it safe to continue using my phone without replacement. Our should I get a replacement from local repair shopThough I am sceptical about the quality of the repair.
Anyone else had same issue?
Also will the aftermarket battery will support fast charging

Yes, swollen batteries mean that the battery needs a replacement. Try to get a good brand or original battery in the after market. There is no way that it would be costing Rs 2800.
There is no harm in using your phone with a slightly swollen battery but I won't recommend that as it might cause other hardware issues due to its deformity in the long run.

My battery was swollen too, had to get it replaced. An aftermarket battery will cost you anywhere around ₹1000-₹1500 but it's not as reliable. I had mine replaced at the service centre for ₹2772 but it works really well now. If you can get the original one, please go for it, you won't regret it.
SAFA Mobile Battery For Xiaomi POCO F1 (I can't post the link as XDA doesn't allow me)
Get this on Flipkart! It's original. Although I feel that the price could be lesser. But, at least it's half the price at Rs 1499 and got 219 ratings with 4.5 star reviews and 6months warranty is also provided.
yes i already had that problem, after that little bump in battery your battery capacity starts to degrade to 0 capacity. i have used the battery until it's unable to work anymore. After that i purchased a battery from Amazon (Because it is very expensive in service center around 2800), and a screw driver kit, i replaced the battery myself, And the battery is original manufactured by Everup company. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0836SP516/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_iuhwFbQ6C51E0
I went to service center and I was asked for a waiting time of 10days. I have exams so I am waiting for this month end. Thank you guys for valuable feedback.
As I am seeing a lot of poco F1 devices are getting swollen batteries. May be due to cost cutting of the product

How many of my Friends Have battery swollen issue And are using their charger on inverter supply
After the battery in my 10 month old device first showed degradation I switched from the stock 18W charger to a 10W charger that came bundled with my old Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi has definitely cut corners in order to keep prices down or its QC 3.0 as some Mi 8 owners had also reported premature battery degradation. Kernel profile reports 10% loss while Accubattery estimates battery health at 80%(originally at 93/95%). Nearly 4 year old Redmi Note 3 and Redmi 3s still have in excess of 85% battery health. I keep all my devices I keep battery charge between 40-80%. No fast charging mods or custom thermals. No gaming except a few casual ones recently. Battery temps were moderate for the most part.
Purely in my use cases I used to get 13-15 hours SoT which is down to barely 11 hours now.
Hoping to get another year out of the battery. After that will replace with genuine battery. Third-party party ones usually aren't good. Some give good bb intially but by 6 months it would have degraded a lot.
Mine After 1.5 yrs of purchase Already down to 71% And only 2800 mah backup left of 4000 mah surely battery is one of the aspects where Xiaomi has cut Corners.
Looking best online seller and manufactured for Poco F1 battery
I am also facing battery bit swollen issue my Poco F1 . I am looking best battery and its backup for the replacement . Please suggest me that best battery manufactured and online seller.
My battery was around 80-90% not swollen. "Was" because I had mainboard issues and the authorized service center didn't keep battery charged.
It died in just 2 months cause I opted to buy 2nd hand replacement board from China. You all should see the price of a brand new mainboard from Xiaomi/Poco, almost the cost of a new phone! At least they replaced my battery.

Bro get the repair done by service center. There are chances that the phone's battery will Explode on heavy usage, and I am sure that you don't want to buy a new phone for now.
Rs 2800 is good if you are replacing it at the official service center. Don't go at local repair shop, as if some other thing will happen to your phone then they will say that they were not responsible for that.
So please don't use your device much and get the replacement done.
Hi, late to the thread but i faced a similar issue with my poco f1 with swollen battery n drain, got it replaced but again new battery too has the same swollen problem and Battery drain in just one month. Could it be the motherboard or battery again?
To prolong the useful life of the battery I have resorted to bypass charging in late May. Since then only 12 battery cycles have been used in over 1.5 months! Over the previous 20 months the daily average was 1.1/day. SoT had fallen down to ~10 hours. But now no anxiety about battery drain as long as a power outlet is nearby. Thermals are better as battery doesn't charge and discharge frequently when plugged in. In my older Redmi devices wherein bypass charging worked from the very beginning the battery health is still in the 80-85% range even after 4+ years.

Most likely the battery. Was it a third-party one? Did you monitor the battery health with Accubattery or similar? The built-in battery tool might not work with unofficial ones.
