Hey guys, hope you all are bored watching the stock bootanimation of our poco.
The Bootanimation is based on the title animations of the Netflix series called Love.Death.Robots
The main objective behind this particular bootanimation was to have a seamless transition from the stock splash-screen to the animation without causing much disturbance.
This is the reason there will be two separate branches of versions for the animation based on your bootscreen.​.
1. Root is needed
2. Download the version based on your splash screen/country.
3. Flash your appropriate magisk version or continue down for manual steps.
Go to /system/media/theme/cust_config/global/bootanimation.zip ( for miui eu) if you are using india go to /system/media/theme/cust_config/india/bootanimation.zip
Backup the zip file in the location. Rename it to bootanimation.back.
Paste the bootanimation_only.zip you downloaded
Rename the file to bootanimation.zip
Give it permissions rw-r-r, 644. ( in solid explorer just hold the zip, go to properties, attributes. Change there. You can do a simple Google search for this in other file explorers)
6. Reboot

I am making device specific zips with boot logo as well, so if you are interested, lemme know the name of the device. Ill make them if possible. Oxygen os bootanimations are wip now.
bootanimation_only.zip : contains just bootanimation which you should manually replace
L.D.R_POCO.avacado_2.0.3.magisk.miuieu.zip : Flashable magisk zip for MIUI EU roms only
LDR-logo-bootanimation_beryllium_TWRP.zip : Flashable TWRP zip for NON MIUI roms.
L.D.R_POCO.avacado_2.0.3.magisk.nonmiui.zip : Flashable magisk zip for NON MIUI roms.
bootanimation_global.zip: Stock animation for EU roms.
bootanimation_india.zip: Stock animation for INDIA roms.
TECH STUFF

mount system and vendor and also uncheck system read-only in TWRP

this boot animation is pretty cool but i would like a global version that says Pocophone F1 instead of Poco F1. thanks for that awesome animation

Can anyone pm me the custom config file in /system/media/theme/cust_config/?
I delete it my mistake.

I used the file which is for TWRP.
I got the "POCO by Xiaomi" screen but not the "love detah robot"

Which rom you are running? It seems that you might be on global beta or india rom. Replace bootanimation.zip from india folder and try.

Im on EU.
Now it's fine. What works for me is the bootanimation_only file. The ones for Magisk and TWRP didn't work so well.

It changed the main global boot logo to Poco, I'm on RevOS.
Is there any way to get back Pocophone on my splash screen?

i've uploaded stock bootanimations in op. you have to manually place them btw.

i suggest you do it manually then. magisk zip is limited as for now. will update with the next update for the bootanimation.
