Does anyone know the best way to get Adaway working on CM13 ROM. I have read elsewhere that as CM13 has BusyBox already that it should not be necessary to install it again but just change the target hosts file? Refer to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/cm13-adaway-t3255616 and https://www.reddit.com/r/cyanogenmod/comments/3u3nps/adaway_not_working_on_cm13/

I have busybox installed seperately. Adaway works.
Edit: though not on this phone...

Install Busybox from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox&hl=en (I had to install Busybox, it doesn't come built in)
Then download AdAway apk and install, open the app and block ads.
I use minmin guard which requires exposed. Best thing is that it works better than adaway/adblock.

Get the chromium snapdragon browser from XDA labs. Has built in adblock, superfast and can sync with google account.

Good idea - something else to try. Thanks.
To install adaway i allways do this:
1. Install CM rom
2. Go to recovery and install latest stable Chainfire root / CF Autoroot
3. Get Adaway apk from f-droid.org and install it on your phone
4. when you start adaway supersu asks for permission, press grant
5. now you can apply addblocking in adaway, wait a moment and it's done
SBXposed bypasses the Xposed restriction in the Sparkasse(+) App.
Requirements
- Xposed Framework
- Sparkasse / Sparkasse+ app at least version 3.0.0
- Android 4.4+
Usage
1. Install SBXposed
2. Activate module in XposedInstaller
3. Reboot
4. Have fun with unblocked app.

The module was tested by me on latest CM13 nightly for the latest version of the app. It should be working fine on other ROMs.

I will not add any new features. This module is only for skipping the Xposed / partial root restriction.

Meanwhile, Xposed detection is installed. Unfortunately, the detection works at most, so I created the module. If this is not the case, your setup would interest me.

I'm running CM 13.0 nightly (latest version from 2016/11/07) on a OnePlus3, I installed SuperSU 2.78 SR5, suhide 0.55 and seamless Xposed 86.1 by romracer.

I have built a version in which more things are logged. This logging is explicit only for Android <5.0 and only for debugging, as this is a performance loss.
After testing app, I need the complete Xposed log.

How exactly do I extract an apk file from the attached zip?
After unzipping all I I get is a bunch of folders and for me rather uncommon file types.

The attachment is the apk. Sometimes the apk may be opened by a program as a zip file.

Although it's named apk, it's only shown as a zip file after the download. On my Windows device as well as on my smartphones. I can only flash zips on my phone but that's probably not the way it should work.
Edit: The download via QR worked. I will test it and tell you. Tomorrow. Short baby night ahead .

Viper4arise4, viper4android, and others sound mods need system modfications. I tried to follow a few tutorial for systemless root but no luck because they need /su folder but i dont have it (because it was deleted to unroot custom rom).
Any help will be useful

I flashed that viper but it didnt have an app to launch so i downloaded a common viper4android 2.5 and flashed it. It didnt work but i tried flashing a common Viper4arise and it works.
I can't uninstall Xpposed. Pls help me. My phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with Oreo 8.1.0. I try uninstaller xposed-uninstaller-20180117-arm64.zip but no work.

Are you aware that the Xposed Uninstaller only uninstalls the Xposed Framework and not the Xposed app?

Systemless? Did you install the framework using Magisk? If so, go into Magisk Modules and remove it there (tap the little trash can), then reboot.
Check in the Xposed app to make sure the framework is gone. Then you can uninstall the Xposed app.

Have you try to move viper4a to system? .
I installed Canary bur my install options are missing. What have I done wrong?
Check the update channel. Mine was on beta. After i changed it to Canary debug it appeared.

Or always used that module, but I'm liking the OnePlus Sans.
Realised today the alarm clock is not working when it is not in use.
So the background apps are stopped when device is not used for long.
I think this is not a good option.
Weta G-Phack module works correctly, Fontchanger does not install.
