if I understand correctly the fastboot version does not require TWRP installation only using the MIFlash Tool? Will I be able to upgrade to version 9.4.2. VIA OTA after flashing VIA fastboot version 9.3.22?

Hi. My China Mi 9 with Miui 10.2.16, will I be able to flash to the lastest beta 9.4.2 after bootloader unlock?
I heard of the Anti Roll Back issues and not sure about flashing it with MiTools after unlocking BL.

I do already try to flash it in win7, win8 and win10 but the result akways same. All driver work properly. Am I miss something??

download the fastboot rom again and try to flash it in edl mode.should get the job done.
Connect your phone to silent mode EDL.
The easiest way to flash MIUI ROM is using Fastboot method, you can find the guide at official site..
Btw, there's MIUI 8 Global Developer/Stable for Redmi 3, use that instead of China version..

So, Here is my quick guide on how to install a custom ROM on the Xiaomi Mi 8, although the basic steps will work on all Xiaomi phones. I'm going to be going through step by step on how to UNLOCK your BOOTLOADER, Install TWRP and finally install the Custom ROM of your choosing.

You need to download Miflash 2020 version. And download the rom, extract it, open the program, select the extracted rom and let it do its thing.

I used miui 12.5.12 fastboot rom
And latest adb
I have bootlooped my phone many times because of debloating but i can reflash the firmware thanks to that website
