Looking for MixRadio XAP file - Windows 10 Mobile Apps. and Games

The final version in the MS Store is a totally dead app when all the streaming functions were discontinued. But it was my favorite app for playing my files stored on the phone. I'd like to try to sideload a XAP of an earlier version where offline music play would work if someone has the file? I don't want to hard reset the phone just to get the app back. I'd be using it on a 640 XL running w10m if there is any version specificity to consider. Thanks.

Google Music w/o root

Here is an older version of Google Music that is not tied to the Play Store, and works on the Fire HD without root. You of course need the Google login service working. It doesn't work the first time because it wants you to add an account and then complains the account already exists. But if you close the app then open it back up, you can choose the account that already exists.
My playlists popped right up and now I can enjoy all that music I bought!
I don't have much music yet on the N7 but it would be nice to have it available on the kfhd as well seeing that audio playback on the latter is very very good. And I also have a bluetooth headset as well when necessary to not bother surrounding folks.
Thanks for the tip!
I had to come up with a non-root method of playing the music because I spent a lot of time uploading CDs on my father's Google account for my mother to listen to on my father's Nexus 7. I am planning on giving her a Fire HD for Christmas, and of course I want her to be able to listen to all the music I uploaded for her!
I don't think Amazon and Google are doing anyone any good by not cooperating on Google Play. This is just insane. All the apps I bought on Google Play should be available on every device, not just the sanctioned devices.

Not sure how to do that. I don't have any tools for repackaging apks. I guess I could build it from source...

Hi
I have Google login services installed and it shows up in my installed apps, I have installed Google music from both here and from the 1mobile market app but neither version ask for my Google ID at any point so all I see is the one album that is on the device.
Any pointers gratefully received.
This is a new UK kindle fire, currently not rooted.

Downloading APKs

I'm frustrated with Google Market because a decent handful of apps that I want to download show incompatible with my device. But I can't seem to find anywhere to download the apks now either to side load them. I used to use an apk downloader extension with Chrome but that no longer works and I can't get sites like Appbrain, Getjar etc to download the file either. I'm looking for apps like ticketmaster, cvs, target etc which are all free apps.
Any way around the Market issue or a good site without warez to get these apps?
Amazon?

I have been playing with a Kindle Fire and have(had) the same issue. I have used 1Mobile Market for most of the apps I previously got from the Play Store (Market). To install the Mobile market app, use the browser and go to their site (1mobile.com/). From their you can download their app with needed installer. After that, a huge variety of apps are available.

Indeed, but I tried one which checks for root access after I side loaded it. It wants unrooted devices only. Still hoping for a temp unroot option.
you dudes can use modified play store to access all the apps (not paid app for free indeed)

Like where? Thanks
Don't forget that if you have the apps on another device, you can use a backup app like astro file manager to make an apk of any app.

Gapps, and flash
Flash player works when you install from a download. You can get the most current version by googling flash player versions. adobe has all Android versions on their website. Here's the website to download the most current Version of Adobe Flashplayer I also provided a download below.
K just unzip the app file and install the apk with es file manager that works I have confirmed that flash works on my daughters tablet. Adobe Flash Player works just fine when installed normally.

Voodoo programs are usually reliant on Voodoo compatible customized kernels, not stock non altered kernels.
For download apk's from PlayStore I use Real APK Leecher.
And how Real APK Leecher OP proposed i created new gmail account only for this necessity. Device ID i just got at my SGS II. All works like charm. Later i can install it to my phone or rooted Nook HD+ with Android Commander (very handy and great tool).
Amazon app store works ironically just fine.

Not true at all. Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper works on almost every single device running Android.
I should be getting my Nook HD this Wednesday so expect some themes to come sometime next weekend.

You don't want to be using this app on the HD/HD+ since it modifies /system and you will end up getting reset.

[Android 4.1+, Root] Snapchat capture with Dropbox sync, both pictures and videos

[This is a duplicate of a post in another subforum here at XDA]
Hi, I developed an app that runs as a service and captures and upload your received snaps to your Dropbox account in the background!
This is by far the EASIEST way to grab your snaps. It grabs all snaps without marking them as opened and grabs snaps regardless of their length.
You don't even have to open Snapchat since this runs entirely in the background. When you receive a new snap, this service grabs it, copies it to a temporary folder, uploads it to Dropbox and then deletes it from your phone again.
Works flawlessly on both pictures and videos.
Sometimes Snapchat won't download videos before you open the Snapchat app, but when you do and it's ready to view, it takes some seconds and the video is available in your Dropbox.
This app follow Dropbox conventions and is in a Production state (not development).
You can check it out in the Google Play Store by searching for:
snap sync root
I am new to posting here, so I cannot post a link directly, bu check my signature for link!
I want feedback on this if you have, but please do not give me crap about it beeing unethical or something like that. I have already heard it all
I made this app solely because I could, even with my minimal Android development experience.
where did your other post go? did you get to see my suggestion?
what happened, and why was this pulled from the Play Store???
SCRATCH that- it doesn't appear on Android 4.3?

It appears the app is not targeting SDK version 18. This renders the app incompatible with Android 4.3 devices, thus it's not showed when you browse Google Play from a devices with THAT Android version.

But, it does work. I've used it on about 6 4.3 ROMS now, it just has to be restored from titanium backup
Doesn't work with the new snapchat update.
No longer working
It doesn't work any more I'm afraid to report. I also tried sideloading Snapchat v3.0 but it didnt make a difference. The pictures don't show up how they used to in the recieved_image_snaps folder either. When you remove the .nomedia extension they still don't display.
Any ideas?
It works with sideloaded 3.1.15. I think i rebooted afterwards, and it works again.

Yep it now works with 3.0, the classic off and on again technique! Also need to remember to turn off auto update in the play store.

Yes, if you check the app on the play store they stated they stopped maintaining it.

[Q] Transfer an app.

I have got a new phone, and I want to transfer one app in particular over from my old one. One problem: The app is a paid one, and its not longer in the play store.
Can anyone help?
Or possibly suggest an app that allows to browse the web, and download most any type of video found, all while having a handy popup blocker.
Before, I tried finding the .apk file and just transferring it and installing but it didnt work fully.
Here's what happened: The app comes in 2 parts, the main app and "plugins" for the app that allow it to download more video formats. Like i thnk .mp4 is supported by main app but .flv is supported by paid plugin (.99 cents)
The said plugin refused to work when just transferred over as an apk file. It probably somehow knew that it was not "paid" for a second time. I'd LOVE to pay for it, but its not in the app store.
So is there any way to scrub it from one phone, and transfer the "licence" (or w/e it is it uses to verify the phone its on) to the new phone?
I have heard of an app called Titanium Backup. Can that app possibly help me? If so, I heard it requires root, which I currently dont have. Can some one tell me how to root my phone?
Its Motorola MB860, Android Version 2.3.6
Try to backup the APP with TiBU and transfer the TiBU backup.
Update Play Store if You don't have latest. When You have old Play Store your paid app wont show on the list.

Disney + apk crashing

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have mi pad 4 until yesterday my Disney plus app worked but now the Disney icon loads up then the app closes. I installed the app through apkpure as Disney plus is not on the Google play store. I have uninstalled the app and installed a historical version but that didn't work neither. Any help would be appreciated as I have toddler who uses the app quite heavily

Are you rooted? Try hiding magisk from the app. It may be that it's detecting root, but that's just a guess
I don't believe it is rooted. I just ran the APK. How can I check? Excuse my ignorance I am not quite that savvy
My Mi Pad 4 was showing incompatible version this morning. I sideloaded 1.61 (nodpi) from apkmirror and it was able to log back in again and stream. My initial install (split apk) was working for a long time. I suspect they depreciated support for older versions that forced the upgrade.

No need to excuse, no worries :good: You would know if you're rooted or not as it's a procedure you have to do yourself. So I'm pretty sure you'd recall doing it. If you bought the device second hand and haven't updated at all, there is a chance the previous owner could have rooted it. If you did wanna check, go to the playstore and search for root checker. Install and run it it'll tell you. Also if you're rooted, you'll most likely have magisk manager installed in your apps. See if that's there, but I doubt it.
See the other guys post above mine for a possible solution. Go to apk mirror website and search for the app version he suggested.
