Hello everybody,
I was wondering is it in anyway possible to root Huawai P Smart 2019 running on Android 9? Any apps / software that can root it safely? I hear it's bootloader is locked and heavily hard-coded by Huawei and even this DC Unlocker doesn't have any solutions yet? Is that true? Could anybody comment / advise, please? Is it really worthwhile the trouble to mess around with it and possibly breach it / break it trying to root it?
Would appreciate any input / suggestions at all.

No easy root. There has been some progress but there are no developers interested in this phone.
Also hoping to be able to root this phone soon, can't stand all the ads, I need a strong adblocker which seems only possible with root?
Hello, I already posted patched recovery_ramdisk to boot with magisk and have systemless root, but first you have to unlock your bootloader. find a service who can offer this, i have unlocked my p smart 2019 almost two months ago before the service was working.

because it cost 30$ to unlock bootloader thats why nobody interested and for me it is also the last phone of huawei

I think we have to wait some months for the root... I 'll wait because it is important for me , i need the magisk module and the viper audio. I think the BL unlock will be cheaper, one year later .

Ihr könnt den bootloader gratis entsperren und so simple, weis gar nicht was ihr da Für Probleme habt.

Hi.. Ive searched the Forum and Web for something that might help me...
For this Device i found nothing to ROOT. I also tried SuperOneClick but no luck.

They also offer a new Firmware to Flash witch is the same that is already installed onmy Device.

I would love it if someone could find a working root method for this device! Tried Gingerbreak and failed. Tried an update.zip from another post on here and that failed too. Any suggestions i am willing to try.

you can get the loox tablet rooted now!
read the english instructions from the german android board:

and use the custom files of: cRoms nur für den Loox from the link above!
you can reflash the stock rom easily to get back. just use the images from the odys -website.
None of these suggestions work!
I've tried all the above suggestions and none of them work. Also tried DoomLord's Zergrush method and that failed. This is starting to piss me off now. I just want root!

Z4root Root Explorer and the other classical methods do not work! As I understand it has locked the bootloader, how do I do?
If I put the bootloader of olipad 100 there is the risk of brick?

recently got an Olipad110 for free from a supplier of mine and this rooting procedure that works, allegedly: http://www.handy-faq.de/forum/medion...ml#post1927511
The hardware itself isn't bad at all, although not the most updated out there although there's nothing more that the red "O" coming from Olivetti, in fact it is manifactured and designed by Quanta in Taiwan and was originally sold by Medion in Australia with the name of "Lifetab P9514".
And I have also discovered that not later than past week Medion has released an update to Android 4.0.4 for its product line, which is exactly the same as Olivetti's.
So I was wondering... if I bother to go trough the rather discouraging rooting deal, will there be a way to modify model's identifiers in order to get the Medion's ICS upgrade?
Any clue?

I've recently had enough of Honeycomb on my olipad and tried to do something with this. With success
As olipad is the same hardware as lifetab, roms designed for the second one are valid for "O". The only difference is in partitions, so we need to completly wipe out rom, partition it and upload lifetab rom. This all can be done by using this script: https://hotfile<dot>com/dl/161367784/f97f03c/LTrecHC.tar.gz.html
After applying script from this archive, you will have new partitioning on your tablet, and lifetab android 3.2 will be on it.
Next step is to download upgrade from medion website, put it on sd card and use update application that is avaliable on tablet to make upgrade to ICS Next, you can root ICS exactly the same as lifetab

I am new to this forum and I registered after reading lots of threads here - but none of them could clarify my question.
I am an owner of a smashed-screen Galaxy S2 and as I am also kinda broke, I couldn't buy a screen replacement yet. So I went for a cheaper option which was a Chinese phablet, which is surprinsingly fast and smooth.
Its box says "Android Note 2" but the actual brand/model is this:

As I am a new user, I could not post a URL here but the combination of the model above + the word specs on Google will lead you to the device's full specs.
As you might know, these Chinese devices have very little documentation or support. Also, the only reading I could do was a Google translation of a few Chinese sites as well as Russian sites. It took me weeks to find a working ROM for it as the stock ROM wouldn't let me root it. I downloaded a ROM, which was not rooted, flashed it onto my phone and then ran the unlock-root-tool and bang! I now have got root on my phone.
However, as I am am a sort of knit guy, I would like to help others in the same situation I was weeks ago (trying to find a ROM with root permissions but without having the ability of speaking Chinese) and I would like to edit this ROM I have here, which I know it works fine on this model and add root support to it and then upload it to as many ROM websites as I can.
So here is the noob question: I have a ROM in ZIP format. What's next? How do I add root to this ROM?
I read a lot about Kitchen but it wasn't very clear about "unsupported devices".
Before you ask, I am not a noob in everything. I use Linux as my OS and do understand how an Operating System works and I have full understanding of root for being a Linux user. I also can use Windows (which I dislike but I know that some software is only written for Windows and that's why I have it on a virtual machine).
Any suggestions? It's nothing urgent but I know that there are lots of people looking for this and I can't simply answer thousands of questions.

Ok, My interest It´s install CyanoGen or similar because I suposse this low-cost Tabs, never don´t update... I don´t know what OS start... Android 4.x I suppose without customize... Only use Tune-in, mail and social media, enough to me
Hi. Ich need a Rom for my cyrus cs 20 Phone. Cause the original has a virus maleware Problem. It is a root from kingroot. I dont find a Rom for this Handy

How did you find out about the malware?
If somebody has a cyrus CS20 would they mind backing it up or doing a readback of it and sharing the ROM? I have one here dead that I need to repair and the user did not do a readback.
