Best custom rom - Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello,
What would be the best custom rom for the mi 8 lite? Also is there a clean without all the bloat miui rom available? I'm waiting to be able to unlock my device as I still have 13 more days but currently miui 10 is treating me well. Things that i want most is camera working at max and battery to survive as long as possible. Things that I don't want, additional mi apps that I'll never use. Also security is always important. Please help, teach me sempais.

I found this link for bloatware free miui.

Is this legit?

Best Overall Custom Rom?

Hi all, newbie here. I just got permission to unlock my bootloader and I want to try out some good stuffs now. There are pretty good Roms here and I just want to know which is overall the most stable one. Also, camera is very important to me, how are the cameras in various Roms compared to Miui camera? Thanks all in advance and have a great day.
Go with blissrom
Yup,the most stable but even at beta stages ,you can go with blissrom cm 13 based ,it doesnt lock your bootloader again after flashing with twrp ,to the my extent of knowledge.

XOSP works great too. i have been using it for a week now, and i haven't encountered any issues what so ever. Micro GApps, Viper-Fx, Xposed Modules everything works just smooth.
Battery drain might seem like an issue as coming from xiaomi (which unnecessarily restricts background activity) but apps like Greenify/ Amplify does a great job in redistricting it. It's not perfect as battery drain could be reduced and sometime it reboots when tweaking with camera settings (on very rare occasions), but it does the job.

Try the Unofficial Method. I myself was having the same issue and the unofficial method worked just fine for me.
Yes you need to be a little bit extra careful during and even after unlocking via Unofficial method, or when switching back to Miui rom, but it should all come in ease once you get a heck of it and start understanding your phone better.
If you need i could send you a link for the unofficial unlocking method.

For me the best rom out there is official Resurrection Remix all the way... I tried many roms out there and this one is the less buggy, the most customizable, the most smooth and battery friendly for me... I am using also Radon kernel and it's amazing!!!

I did it. I installed earlier today MIUI 8 Global Beta to try it out and wanted to try to unlock and did it in first try, just logged on Mi Unlock Tool with my MIUI ID, hit unlock and voala. So it's easier with developer rom then with global stable. But I'm now in a dilemma because MIUI 8 is a lot better then 7.3.7.0

Why no stock based custom roms?

As in a pre-rooted stock ROM with performance tweaks and is also debloated.
i dont like battery life and camera on other custom ROMS. There are tons of small bugs as well that I don't want to deal with.
plus i miss MIUI features like second space, windowed mode, etc.
Earlier devices I used, there used to be CM,aosp other sections in custom roms plus CUSTOM ROMS with stock image as base.
I see none on REDMI NOTE 3 miui FORUMS
Maybe take a look at the Miui Forum.
I think the most people use custom roms so they don't have to use Miui. So I don't think there will be custom roms with Miui on xda
Custom a customized ROM?
I don't think so. Just get root and remove what you don't wanna use.
System partition on MIUI devices already large enough for all bloatware so removing bloatware doesn't help much
xiaomi eu
multirom.me
miuipro
miui.su
miui brasil
etc...

I have debloated my current MIUI global beta. but have to apply debloater script, root and xposed everytime i get update.
is EPIC rom worth upgrading? Also is Xposed supported? The developer seemed to be against flashing it.
MIUI is already the modified version of vanilla android, apart from that the battery life is really good on miui ROMs; if you really want to customize miui then you could always root it, install xposed. you can get all the functionality that you need.
Epic ROM is a custom MIUI ROM.

I am using Epic Rom it is based on MIUI 8 and its a stable rom and my daily driver
Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
Why not try Mi-Globe roms? It's based on the Xiaomi.eu rom, but you can add/remove a few additional features. You build it directly from their site.

Fast/Stable/Daily Driver ROM

It has been years since I have followed up on Moto E2's development (not post 2015 I suppose). I feel like the stock ROM (5.1.1; yes I went back to Stock) has become laggy after updating it with all these apps. So, any suggestions on what I should flash? I want something clean, fast and should have good ram management, while not being laggy like the Stock L.
Thanks.

I have pretty much the same question as riyan65.
I miss the good old official Lineage 14 and I don't want to use Gapps, so Pixel experience is not for me.
Any other suggestion?

[ADVICE] Installing Rom

Hello everyone,
I've been using the Pocophone F1 for quite some time now and really like it but I'd like to install another rom because I don't want all the bloatware.
I did already watch some tutorials which explains how to unlock the bootloader but where do I download the right TWRP version? (I think I have the international version of the Pocophone)
Also, Pixelrom seems very good or would you guys recommend another rom?
Thanks in advance!

Each ROM has its own uniqueness. What may be the best ROM for me may not be the best ROM for you. Once you try a new ROM for a few days, try changing ROMs. You will settle for one that you like best. Some ROMS will have Battery life, some have performance, some are pleasing to the eyes, some have additional features that you may like, some may have features that you don't use at all. So asking which is the best ROM is not correct.
Try different ROMs, the Opening Post will tell you its USP, decide and go ahead.

What is the best one of custom roms for mi a3

Hello brothers,
Can you please give me an advise ???
My device is mi a3 , What is the best one of custom roms thats give me many features more that stock rom and others custom roms.
Havoc OS and Evolution X.
According to my knowledge the best roms that have many customisation features for mi A3 would be Evolution X and Havoc OS.
But the development of Evolution X for mi A3 has been stopped I think and I had some issues while installing Havoc OS on my device

Thank you,
Do you try SyberiaOS ?.
Why not use the stock Android 10 ROM? It's way stable than any custom ROMs. I'm using Android 10 stock ROM April build, rooted with magisk. I also installed Pix3lify and I installed EdExposed to use GravityBox.

What features are you looking for? I'm pretty sure GravityBox has them.
Stock ROMS are obviously way stable than any custom ROMS, it's a known fact. Besides fingerprint doesn't work properly on any custom ROMS and with the new Android 10 April build, fingerprint works very well and also works when the screen is off.

Will you get security updates when you install these plugs?
I tried miui.eu bitnet 11.2 beta is very pretty than stock rom and everything works very well, fingerprint is very speed than stock rom and the camera else.
i tried syberia, EvoX, pixel experience, those three are faster, less battery consumption, and receives officially updated by developers.
