I need the Galaxy S10 stock camera apk - Samsung Galaxy S10 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hello, I'm using Galaxy A70 and I really liked the document scan and bright night features in the Galaxy S10 camera. Anyone got the apk for it?
Thanks in advance.

I tried it, the install ends up unsuccessful. Also is it surely the S10 version?

I got this .apk using TitaniumBackup, its latest version from s10+. I don't think it will be that easy (there are extra libraries etc accompanying camera apps), but you can always try. Good luck!

So root is definitely required?

You can't get new camera feature by just installing apk, even with root. S10 cant get night mode by just installing apk either, i believe you need some more system files to get the features to work. And this is not quite possible. Maybe you should go search if Google Night Sight can be used on your A70.

HTCAlbum.apk Replacement

I'm trying to replace the Glacier's stock Gallery application with the one used originally on the G1. I have found an .apk, but upon replacement with RootExplorer, it does not load as an available app. The gallery app is also available in CM's roms up to v.5 I believe... If anyone can assist me, or maybe post the required .apk I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks I'll give it a shot... Do i need to rename and place in system/app or just install? And based on the name, it seems to be the 3D gallery. I was originally looking for the 2D version (IDK how else to explain it) but I'll try it. Would you have the one I was looking for? Or is it not compatible?

The version i uploaded is a .apk, just download and install. it's not a "flashed" application. Also it is the AOSP stock 3D gallery. I don't have a "2D gallery" but this one is REALLY smooth on our phones.
Yeah its running pretty smooth; doesn't compare to the original one...
Here's a few photos of the one I'm looking for...

i know we are running two different frameworks of Android but i just installed it to my CM7 phone and it worked perfectly. Are you installing it via app manager or trying to flash it/push it.
I tried to push it via better terminal b/c I have s-off with permroot, but no avail. I also tried copy/paste to system/app, but it doesnt show up after a reboot. Third, I even tried installing by just clicking it through a file manager. I have been on google all day and can't find out whats wrong... I even found various versions, supposedly.
I dunno. I just tried it on my wife's phone, still using MySense and it doesn't install. I wonder if it's conflicting with the sense framework.

Thats a bummer... I'm thinking of just flashing to CM... But I see its still experimental... How buggy is it? Pro's? Con's?

Go to the market and search QuickPic (one word) and download the one from alensw.com. 2d gallery, works like a charm. Very fast.
I agree with the fellow above, been using QuickPic for about a week now and it's so much faster than the stock htc.album... so much so that I've now deleted the bloated htc.album and use QuickPic as default

[App] Google Voice | Working

I am a big Google Voice user and noticed that the Market wouldn't let me download it for the 10.1.
I snagged this from over at AndroidCentral so I can't take any credit but I figured I would toss it here for anyone who wanted GV on their tab.
Its taken from the Xoom but I am running it on my rooted 10.1 without issue. Enjoy.
When i try to download it on my tablet it just says cannot Open?

Thanks, working great.

Great! Thank you just what I wanted a way to text from my tab. It works perfectly. FYI I have a stock retail, un-rooted tab and it installed without a problem.

you can use something like androzip or basically anything that lets you look into the sd card (or the fake one the tab tells you it has) so you can locate the apk file you downloaded
Works here.
I had previously tried another Voice version (forget from where) without sucess.
FWIW, I emailed the apk - from the first post here - to my gmail account (as an attachment of course.)
When I openen the email on my Retail:Rooted device, "Install" (not "Download") was the option for the attachment.
Agreed to access...and it installed over whatever was there.
Looks the just the same as on my Galaxy GT-I9000 phone. (But 10.1 size )

Download astro or any other filemanager, and then just find where the apk was downloaded. If you try and open it through astro, it will ask to take you to the app manager, where you can install it.
I have installed plenty of apps straight from the browser.
Just make sure you have the option to allow unknown sources to be installed selected, under settings, applications.
Newer Version
I uploaded the latest version of GV in a different thread. It is easier on the battery.

How does it differ from the one OP posted, as that one was taken from the Xoom which is also a tablet. Yours is from the Infuse, which is a phone. Any issues??

My guess is that the one labeled Xoom actually came from a phone as well. It may have been modified to work on Honeycomb but that is only a guess. I do know that there isn't a downloadable version of Google Voice for any Honeycomb tablet. The version I posted is a later release (bug fixes and better battery usage) and required no modification to work.
I've had no issues with the one I posted and it is easy on the battery. Add GrooVe IP and you can do voice calls as well.
Hope that helps,
Andy
Thank you, I now have a giant slab of a phone. Awesome!

Trojan Found In Camera

Myself and some others who run Cognition on their GS2 have reported that Lookout Mobile Security has found a Trojan in the Camera (hacked camera silent edition by potatoman as far as i know) this has just flashed up on my screen a few mins ago, in all the time ive had a smartphone and had Lookout ive never had a trojan so you'll appreciated the concern, i tried to uninstall but it wouldn't allow me (it's build into the ROM no doubt so would have to uninstall)
A concern no doubt, ive frozen it in Titanium Backup for now but i need some assistance folks what should be done in this instance, i could flash another ROM but id sooner stay with Cognition for now.

Its simple, use root explorer and replace camera.apk in system/app folder
Does anyone think this could be related to the auto-upload pics to Google+ feature?
This camera seems very popular here in XDA. I would just ignore the warning. But yeah, if you are paranoid, there is always the option of changing the apk.
I Posted this in the Cog thread too, but since there's 2 places to talk about it, here goes:
So full disclosure: I have no idea what I'm doing. Good start right?
I use LBE privacy guard to control permissions on a per app basis. After seeing the posts about camera.apk, I downloaded and ran Lookout, and found the same information as reported above, that camera.apk was infected with Trojan:Android/Bgserv.A.
I googled it and found : http://www.f-secure.com/weblog/archives/00002116.html
I noted the app permissions, which is basically everything, and compared it to what camera.apk was requesting on my phone. Camera.apk for me only requests access to sms and location, no network access and no phone info access.
I'm not sure, but this might be a false positive. Like I said though, I have no real experience with this stuff. I'm just poking around.
I think it is just a false alarm, nothing serious. I get this also on 2 other modified programs. And the other 2 is just translated. I think it is due the repackaging.

No. The camera app doesn't upload your pics - the Google+ app does it.
Scanned with Eset Nod 32 and Malwarebytes clean as a whistle = false positive probably .

I hardly think Lookout would flag this as being malaware if it wasn't, i don't subscribe to this "false positive" way of thinking, my opinion is better be safe than sorry.
So in order to get the stock camera back ive to replace this in system/app, where can i find an apk. for the stock camera, cheers.
I'll be ultra careful from here on in about downloading third party apps.
edit never mind i didn't see the above post i have replaced the camera via root explorer.

If it's better safe than sorry, your best bet is to roll back to a stock backup you made before flashing
OK i went to system/app and clicked on install and replaced the camera, done a scan and it's still showing as malaware and will not allow me to uninstall, where can i find a genuine apk. for the stock camera does anyone know, other than that ill have to flash another ROM.

i did say from here on in, this is a genuine community for the most part, however you cant be sure there are not people on here who create trojans inside apps, i just noticed with this camera app the amount of permissions it asks for is way too much just for a camera.

Add app to priv app folder

I use gsam battery app which has a rooted device secondary app that must be installed in the system/priv app folder. My g power won't let me install it because of dynamic partition.
My Galaxy Tab S7 has the same deal but let's me install it with no problem.
The gsam app is pretty much useless without this rooted ad on.
Anyone have an idea how to overcome this?

What to debloat from ADB? [S21 Ultra]

Hey guys,
My phone is arriving in the next days, i haven't played with a samsung phone since the galaxy S2!
Anyway, it's time for a come back. I've been reading a lot about samsung phones and the current state of bloat, so, have any of you already debloated something?
My goal is to keep it very simple, not doing any hardcore debloats! I just want the usual suspects gone... like facebook, youtube and whatever thirdparty apps.
I found a list of apps safe to debloat from the S20 series, i wonder if its the same for S21.
Cheers! I can't wait to get my hands on it!
BTW, i was reading about the samsung KNOX, we still can't root the phone without breaking it forever, right?
You can likely use the s20 lists. Hope s21 havent much more bloatware... You cann first try to disable (most of them you can only siable via adb) them and look if everything is okay (reboot after disabling) and then uninstall if everything is fine(if not you can reenable them if disabled, if you deleted them you must wipe your phone) i do this everytime and then make a notepad list with uninstall adb commands and im good

So adb or nothing (this way you can delete them, but after wipe they are there again) but better than only disabling cause some disable apps will enable by themselfes again....
