Guys,
I'm using poco f1, miui 10 open beta 9.5.17.
When in the game(game turbo on), I tried to click the app(fb, WhatsApp, Viber, etc) from the list of choices.
But instead of showing the floating windows of the app, it directed me to the main page of the app.
How is that so? Is there any reason why or is there any setting about it?
Sigh, no one has this issue?

I guess you can try updating to the 10.3.4 build and get the proper Game Turbo. Just change your region to India and search for an update. Hope this solves your problem.

Hmm. 10.3.4 is stable build I believe. I'm currently using the latest open beta version so I don't think I need to switch to stable just because of this. Anyway, thanks for your advice. Hmm...
I have the same issue. Im on 9.6.27 beta build and it doesn't work anymore. On other updates it was working as inteded, now it just redirect to the app and doesn't recognize the chrome anymore too.

I discovered what was my problem. I toggle miui optimization OFF on developer settings. If you turn it on, float windows will work as inteded.

We recently got August security patch without any of these....

Oh, I'd kill to have the Quick Setting Tiles on the G...
I just happened to get to get to the software update page today, and it was quite the coincidence that the new version had come out just a few hours ago.
The only thing I had problems with, and still doesn't seem to be fixed is the hotspot DNS issue.
I have my APN Type set to default, supl, mms, dun so I'm not sure why that's still a problem for me. I don't want to hijack this thread though.
Other than that, it seems to be working fine. I'll have to get my Daydream goggles on.

The hotspot issue was fixed with this update. Try resetting the APN to its default values.
Mine shows the update with the list change log above, but still calls it zte_A2017UV1.1.0B25
Seems it's a Typo and will show up as b32 when implemented.

If you'd kill, then why don't you install MiFavor 5? Been using it for a while on the G, zero problems.
Installed and running well so far.
They've also added Caller ID settings under additional carrier settings in the call settings. Can now be set to network default, hide number or show number.

Quick Settings Tiles are nice but the radios are still broken. WiFi and cell data still randomly turn off as often as ever.
Finally got mine installing. Not sure why but every time I try and go back to stock everything craps out on me and I have to start over.
Hopefully my backups are still in tact so I can restore some of my data.

How's the battery on yours? Mine is really really bad. Usually lose between 20-25% overnight since I installed the Chinese ROM. A2017U here.
Which su for this build?
Just used Magisk... Could not get su to install.

I'm sorry, I was wondering how you got Superuser working on B32. I'm not sure if they're ready or not

I'm using the newest LOS on my Onyx, but Snapchat is terrible on it. The app crashes several times before I can send a snap.
When I was using OOS (i know, it's old) Snapchat didn't crash anytime. I changed my ROM mostly, because of security patches and Android version.
Is it a way to make it stop? I've seen an advice to delete a file, but I couldn't with my SuperSU installed. Do you guys know any tricks?
I have the same problem. It hasn't always been like that, but let's say for the last 8 months or so, I do experience the same.
Currently on Resurrection Remix ROM, but happened also on Lineage OS.
Especially when adding stickers or saving a snap, it crashes most of the times.
Complete reinstall of the app has no better results.

Thanks. I was having a similar crashing issue (but still on Marshmallow). I just updated to Snapchat Alpha by clicking on the winking ghost at Bermuda in the Snap map. Hopefully this fixes the crashes. Also, is it possible to use Sultan's custom HAL in the app? TIA

That's not possible, but Alpha is smoother than normal snapchat.
Upgrade to Oreo or Pie.... It's smooth enough.
1. RR ROM by hunfatal which is based on yumemichi's LOS.
2. PIE AOSP by Yumemichi still under testing but smooth enough.

Have you checked to make sure the app isn't installed on the micro-SD card? That's why mine used to crash - has been fine since I made sure I moved it over to internal storage.

This is for installing the stock S9 app on the Note 8 since it hasn't been updated yet. A lot of people prefer the new UI that isn't so orange .

So your saying it's a "stock" S9 app with a "modded" icon to make it "not so" orange? Your video (((only))) references "note 8 running 8.0 Oreo" no mention of Nougat. I'm simply letting you know that this "S9 & S9+ messaging app" (quoting you from video) works on BOTH Nougat and Oreo... You're welcome.

It's not a modded icon this is the APK from the S9 and yes it will work on 7.1.1. It's just the default app that comes on the S9 plus it has not yet been added to the Note 8 and a lot of people prefer the UI as well as the new features such as GIF support, stickers and live messaging.

"New features.. live messaging"? You've probably got mixed up, I've already had live messaging on my note 8 (((without))) installing this apk file? It's a feature on the Note 8 upon launch. Also, you never mentioned that it would work on Nougat, only saying "Oreo" over and over. I was just giving feedback saying that it "it does work on Nougat", not to be misconstrued.

This is old news actually. There is already a thread from the day this version was released just fyi....video might have been a bit unnecessary lol. Also there is a sticker apk that goes along with the message app to provide the stickers....there is a signed version of that which installs with the same ease as the message app.

I know it's not new but a lot of people where still looking for how to do it and some where having issues. This APK works fine in oreo and i'm not seeing any issues with duplicate messages.

Oh ok, didn't see any mention of any solutions for people having issues....just a long video showing how to click the file and press install....maybe i missed something.

So is there an advantage to using this over the regular built-in messaging app that's in Oreo on the Note 8?
Someone already posted the duplicate message fix. Just freeze the message service app with bk package disabler or it's like. Have to use the pro version. They apparently built that service into the new messages app.

Gif search is built into the app, regardless of keyboard. Pressing back while in a thread doesn't close the app instead returns to the conversations screen
Also when sharing to the app it now let's you pick from already existing conversations as opposed to it searching your contacts
I installed the app and now 1 of my threads keeps showing like I have unread messages even though there are no new messages... anyone else get this?

only drawback is loss of background wallpapers
I have check this app and have some pro and cons over stock one, like
- No conversation background
- No messaging block with phrase
- No Save/Restore option (Though it can be done with some tricks)
- No option to send message to Groups (needs to select individually from contacts)
- Better UI (Though it's subjective)
- Mute option right from conversation
- Sticker support even you use third party keyboard
So verdict is - better use themed icon with stock messaging lol!

ok, installed on note 8 oreo and no background settings on the s9 message app with other options missing so i reverted. not worth turning blue.

And when you reverted back did all of your texts stay on the phone or did you lose them? Did you just Uninstall updates?

1. Phone hangs and reboots when I try to play music using any music player app.
2. "Press and hold power button to turn on Google Assistant" doesn't work.
3. Missing popup camera options

Is flashing disable encryption part of the procedure? Where did you know that it's caused by encryption?

I noticed that the crash only occurs when you've completely setup your Google account.
If you just flashed the rom and ignore the google account setup process, music and videos wont crash the phone.

Oh man 9.6.20 still has the crashing bug when you play music/videos.

I noticed that the crash only occurs when you've completely setup your Google account.
If you just flashed the rom and ignore the google account setup process, music and videos wont crash the phone.

Crash only appears after setting up Google assistant. Clear data of Google app and don't launch Google assistant and see if you can play music/videos

That‘s what I also want to know.
I finally made the decision to switch from iPhone to Android after 10 years cause of the K20 Pro but I‘m not sure yet if it will be a K20 Pro or an OnePlus 7 Pro. I‘m a bit afraid of Xiaomi.eu ROM is not as stable as OxygenOS Stock ROM. Also I don‘t know yet if Google Pay and Netflix L1 DRM will work on xiaomi.eu ROM without Root. Does anyone has already experience about this topic?

Even with L1, Netflix apparently won't unblock Xiaomi phones. So yeah we wont get HD. Just 540p.
I recommend you go for Oneplus 7 Pro. I would've got OP7Pro too it's just I love Miui more than anything else.

When I'm flashing stable, my audio is totally broken.
It will not crash like dev roms but no sound came out, either from my speaker or earpiece.
Did you experience the same issue?

I've encountered this in both stable and dev eu rom. Now I'm on china stable again. The latest dev eu rom has just been release and im lazy to test if this bug still exist because this is my only phone.
am having this slight issue of restarting my device of freezing at the redmi logo for awhile and the phone just shuts down, if i try to power the phone for a couple of times then it will bbot up, can you help me out how to solve this? Im still on stock rom/recovery

Since it's not in the not working list but also not in the working list I'll ask even though I basically know the answer already.
Is VoLTE/WiFi or IMS services working on 17.1? It's quite literally the only reason I'm still on stock based as in the office building I work there's limited 3G reception and I usually rely on VoWiFi.
I wonder if VpFX is working with this rom, anybody tried viper?

Well, no that's why I asked as all the other builds list it as not working yet this one doesn't list it at all. Was just curious. The last Sammy I had was a Note 3 so..
And my old OP5 did have it working on LOS hihi.
Can you please reupload on Google drive or afh? Mega not working for me.

Ok, I found a bug: it isn't possible to hide navbar and notification bar. If xou select this option, the app lineageos setup crashed. Extended desktop doesn't work.
Btw. Is it possible to get dark theming for telefon, messager, contacts app? Maybe a other theming engine like substratum or hexinstaller?
I saw Vendor is only for NoForceEncrypt. What if i wanted forced encrypt, where to get the img file. Thank you, please.

You misunderstand that! With this vendor file you can select without and with encryption! See security setup!
Without that file, encryption is set to on all the time!

1 - seems to be an issue with lineage at the moment as far as we can tell. (aswell as a few other bugs in their trees at the moment)
2+3 - works fine for me and all the other n9/s9/s9+ users of this rom on telegram, mailbox set the correct number by default for me and i can edit it aswell just tried, loudspeaker/bluetooth speaker is working fine for calling.
Feel free to share logcat if possible, would be interesting to see what has broken it on your setup and not for anyone else, thanks

No clue, wait for lineage to update them in their repos i guess, i don't like 3rd party theming apps.

Why is it not mentioned in the instructions that Flashable_G96XF_Firmware_TWRP_DTAD_r2.zip is needed to be able to boot? Without it, a boot loop occurs.
Also, "Hey Google" isn't working properly. It turns itself off after enabling it. I used Open GApps nano. Someone got it working?

If you read, you can see I clearly tell you that Q BL is required. A lot of people are unable to read in 2020 it seems.
Hey Google is working fine feel free to jump on to telegram if you are having issues.

I previously flashed BL_G960FXXU7DTB4.zip from the Telegram channel before flashing the ROM itself. I see that there's now a new BL on the channel: DTAA instead of DTB4. IDK if flashing the DTB4 BL instead of DTAA could've been the reason I wasn't able to boot earlier without flashing the firmware zip.
I'd rather not and discuss it here. When I toggle the "Hey Google" switch on, go back a page to Assistant settings and go back to Assistant Devices > Phone again, the switch is turned off. Even during the time the switch stays on if I stay on the page, Hey Google can't be triggered.
