-Base Of the ROM & Version?
->This ROM is based on AOSP. The version is being updated monthly.
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" support?
->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, but you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which GApps are recommended?
->OpenGapps are usually the best out there.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk.
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When will the next update be?
->No ETAs, please. This is a port; it really matters when the original ROM gets updates. When that's done, I can begin my porting.

J500F? I can port the ROM in a day or two for it.

I have a j500m.
Quick note for everyone, i flashed the fn revision and i kid you not, that was the fastest first boot i've seen from any custom rom, with less than 5 mins. No signal though, but as i said, i have a m variant, not a fn.
Note to @TechyMan , flashlight quick setting did not work. Not sure if completely borked or not, just an fyi

Thank you for your feedback. In the weekend, I am planning to add the F, H and M variants.
The flashlight problem was because of not correct vendor files (your model is M, and the sensors are for FN).
The kernel may also be the cause - note that I will upload a build for M specifically with all fixed stuff which should work perfectly.

Yes that could work for him but I don't think it would fix all the issues considering some library sensor files are designed for the FN.

@garylawwd Tested with LOS 16 boot.img (january release), successful boot up, but no signal, no detected sim. I agree with the thinking, it was either a kernel issue, a rom issue, or a variant issue. In the end, looks like it was, as @TechyMan explained, a variant issue. Needs the specific lib files for the m to be up and running.
Maybe i didn't notice it last night, but is the boot animation supposed to fill up the whole screen or just most? On the test i just did, only partial screen fill (about 75%).
Checked the first boot time, its about 3-5 mins.

Yes, it's the variant issue. I've seen the j5nlte folder (vendor) and it contains some RIL (telephony) files which explains it.
Also, I've noticed that boot animation on 75% of screen only as well, but I am not sure if it's a bug or this is intended.

Generally, flashing ROM via TWRP will never touch ur internal partition....unless u wipe internal...
If u face such problems,I recommend you to wipe internal storage prior to flashing ROM...
And do take a backup of ur internal and after successful boot,simply move the files in ur internal...

Would you recommend wiping sdcard as well and give it a fresh start while switching to custom Pie from stock Oreo? Of course I'll back everything up before doing it as I haven't yet made the jump to custom ROMs and am still running locked bootloader and stock ROM. And thanks for keeping the device updated with the latest and greatest.

When you unlock bootloader that's going to wipe your internal storage anyways, right?

Yes, only internal but I use an external sdcard as well and I meant that, not the internal memory
This happened with the last versions of AEX 5.8 (Oreo). If I am on wifi for more than 20 mins and go back to mobile data, 4G never turns back on unless I rebooted. ArrowOS is the first whose default kernel doesn't result such actions unless I went with a custom kernel.
Would being forced into flashing stock Oreo completely (I only have the FP fix flashed) resolve that issue as I read that flashing stock Oreo via TWRP would rewrite my EFS (I have no intention of ever downgrading to past Pie, Oreo or Nougat roms ever)?
Until then, I'm flashing my TWRP backup of my ArrowOS Pie install.
Volte works?
Hats off to the developers. Thank you very much for giving the taste of pie to potter

Moving from another Pie ROM (Havoc, in particular) will have you where you need to be for FP support. Normal order, backup, wipe (data, cache, system), install AOSP, GApps, Magisk (opt.).
Hi @GtrCraft,
How does this ROM compare to your other, GZOSP? Is it suppose to be better? I am having such a good experience with GZOSP, that I am afraid to move. Battery life is the best I have seen on a custom Moto G5 Plus ROM - over 5 hours screentime. The only issue for me is the missing FM radio. Does this ROM have one? Thanks for your hard work.

Trying yourself is the very best/most accurate way to get this answer.. rather than waiting for another user to answer. You are the only one who uses your phone exactly like you use it.
Here's what you do:
Do a backup of your current setup
Then download the appropriate files for this rom.
And then give it try for a few days.
And make your assessment of 'how is battery life'
And you either stick with it or restore your backup
I know you got this.... I know you do. :good:
fist bump ?
??
Hi @minidude2012, can you fix the issue where some people can't receive calls on LTE if it isn't by switching to 3g? I know it has something to do with ims.
Thanks

Totally agree. Its to early to even ask how battery life is of first day of publishing a ROM.

AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended
#ExtendYourDevice Here are the Extensions! on top of AOSP! We are constantly trying to update the list. Our aim is not to provide all the features available on earth. For addition of more tweaks or features, head on to our G+ community and post the list of features that you want! Features with commits will be more helpful!

-Base Of the ROM & Version?
->Rom is based on AOSP.
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Yes, full Substratum support!
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

If you end up in a boot loop as a result of installing this ROM, and you previously were using Magisk in the previous ROM before installing this ROM, simply load TWRP and flash Magisk and that should correct the boot loop.

Right, or twrp backup lol
Was curious as the 8.1 firmware flashed to both a & b slots including the bootloader unpacked.
I ended up unpacking the bootloader and flashed the files to slot B which solved booting issues for me
Thanks
how is the Rom installed. I would need a more detailed instructions. I have already tried everything possible. The Pixel Experience Rome works flawlessly. I have already used the LOS 16 instructions but nothing works

You can look at the top of this page and see where we discussed flashing magisk if you're boot looping.
As long as you're wiping everything and then installing ROM, gapps, and magisk if previously installed then it should boot up. You'll have to add your APN to get data to work.

Unfortunately that does not work quite as easy as they say. I managed it. Later I will write a more detailed guide and then everyone will be able to do it. Thanks for your help.

Heyo. I'm running into a problem when I try to install GApps. I get an error (70) saying there isn't enough space available in the system partition, but I have a little over 4GB free space in the system partition. I even tried resizing it, but that didn't help. Any idea what my problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks for your work!
EDIT: I'm using PICO GApps.
