Anker USB-C - HTC U11 Accessories

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about buying an Anker Powerline+ USB-C to USB-A 3.0 but I'm not sure if it will work with my device. Has anyone tried that cable?
P.S: The official USB-C cable for the HTC U11 is not available in my country.

Thank you. Maybe I have a faulty USB port because a bought a cheap USB-C cable and it doesn't work, it just shows "slow charging" and it takes up to 5 hours to reach 100% also when I connect it to my PC it shows a message that the device could not be recognized.

Check your power block? If you use a QC compatible block and cable it should fast charge. Try the anker cable

I bought a Quick Charge 3.0 and a USB-C 3.0 and it works perfect. All the problem was related to the cheap cable I bought before.

Proprietary usb cable ... arrrgh!

Does anyone know of a source for usb cables that'll fit the flyer?
It's a standard micro USB. Check monoprice if you can wait.
Otherwise, grab one that is labeled as ok for kindle or nook.
It's not a micro usb, at least on mine its not.

Should be.

I use a generic micro-usb on mine at night also. Don't get the micro and mini usb connectors confused. The micro is thinner than the mini... Also try turning the cable connector upside down... I think its opposite of my HTC phone.
Standard cables certainly fit. It's sort of similar to how the G2 had the weird mini compatable connector. Some accessories will be slightly different.
It's because the proprietary cable is ~10 volts; twice that of USB. But it will take a slower charge over micro USB. That is, they have an ideal solution given there is no higher voltage standard.
The ac adapter that comes with the flyer will output 9v (per the labeling) but if you were to use the included 12 pin USB cable instead, it will only pull 5v max as it just has a single USB-a end (or whateverthe output rating is of the power source > USB adapter). The extra pins in the htc cable are for audio throughput and not required for charging.
*Edited for clarification*
Just checking, so any charger with micro usb would do? For instance if i grab blackberry charger, then it should be fine regardless diff voltage and watts?
Sorry..not an electrical engineer.. thanks!

My charger from my HTC EVO works fine on the flyer, but it is noticeably slower.
I use the Motorola Rapid Rate micro USB car charger, which you can get from Amazon for less than $4. Seems to work pretty well.

will this charge the tablet while its powered on?
errm.. just to bust the 'myth' of this thread.. No.. HTC Flyer doesn't use propriety USB cables.. just us any micro USB cables..
So far I have successful use of cables from Nokia, SE (One from Xperia and the other from Liveview), Morphie iPhone charger, Mackal retractables, Jawbone ERA and some no brands..
They all sync and charge..

Rezound charger port question

Hey, I currently don't have the Rezound and was wondering if any owners can help.
The charger port looks kind of different. Can the usual microUSB or miniUSB (whatever its called) charger work on that and also for data or do I have to have the stock cable for both charging and cable?
Thanks

The port is an EXTmicro USB. It takes both standard micro USB, and HTC's EXTmicro USB. If you use standard micro USB, just plug it in so the flat part of the connector is on top.

Umi Z charger

Hello all,
My Umi z charger cable has broken. Tried charging with One plus 3T charger but it doesn't work.
Anybody can recommend what charger cable shall work and where it shall be available?
I have no problem charging with any mix if cable and charger ..even standard USB chargers with adaptor to c fitting
Any decent USB A to USB C cable should work.
Use Nexus's usb cable
I have a Nexus 6P and I use the tiny cable they gave with the phone to charge Z pro with my laptop.
It charges pretty quickly with that cable on my laptop. But yea any decent cable would do. You can also order chargers on Umi's website.
I use this cable...
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01MY27YKY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
In principle, however, every cable should be suitable.
Make sure it is suitable for data transfer and loading.
Some cables have too much resistance, and then the charging time increases.

USB-C backpack

Ive seen many backpacks like this one:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Kin...B/32661076590.html?trace=msiteDetail2pcDetail
which has a USB charging outlet
Im Looking for a USB type C backpack, as the Nexus and Pixel devices wont support quick charge unless you are connecting it C to C.
I have yet to find one. Anybody?

Not only do you need it to support usb-c for fast charge but usb-c pd for quick charge to work I believe.

But it's just the cable. It is used as an extraction cable between the charger in the bag and the phone on the outside.

3rd party USB-C cables with Charging Turbo support

has anybody found a 3rd party cable able to charge turbo the MI9 ?
I'm interested in getting a longer cable as the original one is extremely short.
Got a usb-A to usb-C 200cm PZOZ 5A a long time ago from aliexpress, but tested it now and it does't even do fast charging with the 27W adapter, letalone turbo

Baseus has several 100W 200cm cables, but they're PD compatible instead of QC 4.0 actually and the head are both USB C. So you'll need a USB C >=27W adapter as well.
I already have the 27W charger, but it has an A type USB port on it.
don't think xiaomi uses QC4.0 provided by qualcomm
The original 27W charger included with the CN version of the phone is actually using QC3.0, it's still within that spec. Maybe that will narrow it down?

I used Baseus Cable. Support Turbo Charge with Xiaomi and Huawei. Not support with fast charging Samsung and other
