Mate 10 Pro - how to lock on one LTE frequency band - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

Mate 10 Pro - how to lock LTE bands (1800, 2100, 2600 etc.).
I know the app Network signal guru can do this on Qualcomm's SoCs but the Mate 10 is based on HiSilicon Kirin 970...
Can someone tell me a method how to force one of the cellular network bands?

Snapdragon 810 or 815??

Folks,
I just bought one of these tablets off of Amazon after tons of research but the one piece of information that keeps being contradicted is whether this tablet is running the Snapdragon 810 or the Snapdragon 815?

I've put in red where they state it's the 815. But most tech sites listing specs list it as the 810. Did it get a spec bump recently or something? Does anyone here have the tablet with the 815 processor? I
I also cannot find a good listing of the differences between the two processors other than the 815 runs cooler. Does anyone have a better list of differences or benefits of the 815 over the 810?
Thanks in advance!
Only ever heard of it being an 810 myself.
810. 815 doesn't even exist.

Does Redmi Note 4 SD work in US?

I would like to know if Redmi Note 4 can be used with US carriers? I am moving there and was planning to buy a phone
Redmi Note 4 Supported Bands:
2G bands GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands LTE band 3(1800), 5(850), 40(2300)
US Supported Bands:
2G capabilities GSM 850, GSM 1900
3G capabilities UMTS 850, UMTS 1900, UMTS 1700, UMTS 2100
4G capabilities LTE 700, LTE 800, LTE 1700, LTE 1900, LTE 2100, LTE WCS 2300 (30), LTE 2500
Doesn't look like it but I wanted to know, since some users have claimed that they are able to use 3G despite the band being unsupported.
Get the ZTE Axon 7, Supports USA bands. I wish I did. To answer the original question. The note 4x works on at&t in the US, only one band. Band 5, sucks. So its not as fast as it could go but it at least works slow.
I have a Redmi Note 4X international edition and I'm running on the T-Mobile network. I'm in Utah. I couldn't give you the detailed channel info but you can always check the site http://willmyphonework.net/ it's a pretty good site to check phones against networks. That's what I did before I purchased my phone.

Don't know. I don't have a data plan.
I'm using the Redmi Note 4 global edition on T-Mobile and I get LTE on band 4.

Where did you buy it?
Is the LTE just as good as any other phone or is it ****tier in some way?
I don't understand why more people don't use them here if they work just as good, since it's clearly the best phone out there under 200 bucks, as far as I can tell.
I ordered a global version, but I still don't have any confidence that it's gonna work based on what little information I can find on the internet.
I'm on T-mobile US, using a Redmi Note 4 Global, and I've had no issues with it. Good LTE speeds, but I can't get VoLTE to work though.

yeah, I've been looking at apps like LTE Discovery the last couple days, and it looks like there's plenty of Band 4 in town where I'm at, so I guess that's good. Usually the places I go when I go out of town have no lte anyway so I doubt I'll be missing much.
I don't mind not having VoLTE since I use like 10 minutes of voice calls a month and I don't think my current phone uses it anyway.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X - Not working on FDD 900 MHZ

Hello,
I have some questions regarding Xiaomi Redmi note 4,
I live in Peru and bought the mobile phone through tinydeal webpage. I specified that I want a mobile phone FDD LTE 3G 1900 mhz and 4G 900 mza (Band 8).
Unfortunately I received a product without band8, so I think I received the xiaomi redmi note 4X. The cellphone has 3Gb RAM, 32 GB ROM, Snapdragon
the mobilephone box does not have info regarding internet bands, my question is, how to identify the correct model with FDD 3G 1900 and 4G 900 mhz?
Do you know what can I do to confirm if my mobile phone has 4G in 900 mhz? I asked directly to Xiaomi official and they could not confirm and suggested to ask directly to the customer, unfortunately the customer did not provide the info.
Do you know if mobile phones are like laptops where you can see RAM, ROM, internet bands?
Thank you ,
Pierre

Bands of Honor 9 (Europe)

Hi, i'm about to buy the Honor 9, but I have a problem. I will buy it in Amazon (Europe) and ship it to my country (Argentina) that uses this bands:
2G (EDGE, GSM/GPRS): Bands 850 / 1900 MHz
3G (HSPA+, UMTS/WCDMA): Bands 850 / 1900 MHz
4G (LTE): Bands 4 (AWS o 1700) / 7 (2600) / 28 (APT o 700*)
(the most important band is the B4 AWS, the others are not that important)
And I searched on google and I found differences, some places say it has the b4 band(frequencycheck.com,phonedb.net), others say no (gsmarena)
Amazon says its the model 51091SNW, but assume is the STF-L09 version
So I need your help, if anyone of you has bought this phone in Europe and wants to confirm if it has the band that I need, I would be grateful. Otherwise, I'll have to choose another phone because a phone without 4g nowadays it's not good
Thanks in Advance!!!
I checked the price comparison I usually use and which is usually pretty well informed (this is their English page, the company behind it is originally from Austria):
Frequency bands: GSM (850/900/1800/1900), UMTS (850/900/1900/2100), LTE (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20)
https://skinflint.co.uk/a1638115.html
Same info from my go-to review site (translated from a German review):
Networking: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS B1/B2/B5/B8, LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20, Dual SIM, LTE, GPS
https://www.notebookcheck.net/243422.0.html
Both is for the STF-L09, which is sold throughout Europe, so I guess it doesn't matter that both have their info from devices from Germany...
It seems to lack Band 4, and according to gsm arena it does so for all Honor 9 models available
