Problems close bootloader - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

hi had the mate 10 root with the, fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdisk.img
I'm trying to close the bootloader and throw this at me:
the version that I have is ALP-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0228 of the FirmwareFinder I have lowered the vesion and I have removed the update.app, I have removed the system.img, I have put it by fastboot, and it keeps me throwing the same error.
I have also tried the dload method.
putting in the folder only the:
UPDATE.APP
and putting both
UPDATE.APP
update_full_base.zip
It gives me the same error.
any ideas?

You cannot lock the bootloader with TWRP and root installed and still access the system .
If You want lock bootloader (not re-lock) , You have to flash Service ROM from dload (this process will erase all the data from your device!).

Of course, unfortunately this is wrong build number, build number must take the form e.g. 9.0.0.226(C636E2R1P12) . Cxxx is very important, Cxxx = Region/Operator. Without number of your region I can't find Service ROM for your phone, mister.

IMHO this is why you get it :
"the version that I have is ALP-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0228 of the FirmwareFinder I have lowered the vesion and I have removed the update.app, I have removed the system.img, I have put it by fastboot, and it keeps me throwing the same error."
ALP-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0228 is incompatible with your region.
I can't help you more, sorry.

Kii-L05 (Canada) - Stuck on boot logo

Hi everyone,
I've recently messed up terribly on the Canadian model of this phone. The model # is KII-L05 and the problem is that I'm stuck on the logo screen when booting.
I was unable to flash a custom ROM properly and have no backups. I have TWRP 3.1.1-0 installed and have tried flashing cm12.1, cm-13.0, lineage-13.0 and lineage-14.1 with the proper gapps to no success. I also tried eRecovery (with a lot of trouble getting to it using the Vol+/- because it loads TWRP 99% of the time) but it won't detect the dload/UPDATE.APP that I acquired from the Canadian Huawei support site nor will it update via wifi.
I've run out of ideas so I'd appreciate some assistance in finding a solution either getting back to stock ROM(firmware?) or a custom ROM that supports this model.
If there's already an answer posted, please pass along the link as I've come up with nothing searching and following most of what's been said before.
Thanks,
You just have an option to restore the backup if someone can share it.

I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to that...
For clarity, would that be using TWRP to restore the backup or using the eRecovery/UPDATE.APP method?
I'll try my luck in the file repository to see if anyone has it.

Extract your update.app using a program like 7zip -- it should contain a boot.img file. Use the ADB method to manually flash the file.
While your at it, if there is a system.img file -- flash that as well.

It may not work and dload will be best option here.
Fastboot may not allow him anymore to flash anything

I mentioned in my original post that I have no backups. Unfortunately, that includes me not having stock recovery to start from scratch.
My current eRecovery doesn't recognize anything I put into dload nor does it update via wifi.
I'm currently outreaching to Huawei Canada (been more than a few days without a response) as well as friends/coworkers that may have the phone that can help with no success.

No backups, that includes anywhere internal or external of the phone in question. Already tried the Huawei site and they have Marshmallow - I suspect I need anything older that's on Lollipop.

Unfortunately there are no official firmware yet for this mate. I tried looking for you but couldn't get any. Its just OTA and not full firmware that could help you with dload.

Hisuite won't work as it's hard bricked.
Btw which emui 8 version build did you flash ?
What is its xloader version?
What build are you before using this method?

I was on EMUI 9.0.0.190 (not sure if this was the exact one, it was the latest version as far as I know)and tried to downgrade to EMUI 8.0.0.171. Dunno the xloader version.
Also I borrowed my friend's DC Phoenix account and was following it's guide. Does anyone know which board this phone has so that I can download it's software.

ANE-AL00 no 3G/4G in US

Hi,
I'm using GSI-treble CAOS 11. I recently moved to the US and I don't seem to get 3G/4G in the US. 3G/4G worked when tried on another phone with the same sim.
I'm using a ANE-AL00. Is it a baseband issue? Any thoughts?
And I'm getting connected to 2.4Ghz wifi only, not sure if it's a bug.
Thanks

Try eRecovery, using option "Download latest version and recovery".
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ndroid-11-stable-so-far.4222155/post-84460297
The second method is flashing Service ROM aka fullStock ROM via dload method, but this process will erase all your data and lock bootloader again.

Maybe this will help you:

Or try this solution:

3.Tap Save.
4. In 'Edit setting', enter your mobile country code , can be found in your current APN Accses Point -> MCC . (or look for your mobile country code here )

Thanks! I'll look into it. But I flashed stock EMUI9.1 and still, the network works only on EDGE. So, I guess it has something with hardware/firmware. I don't know the difference between LX1 and ANE-AL00 in terms of hw...wondering if I should try LX1/LX2 stock rom..

You can install only firmware for your regional variant - Al00 (C675), for example this one .
(Cxxx) is very important in determining the correct firmware to download.

So, based on that, I flashed LX3 oeminfo and LX3 stock from. My phone is now rebranded to LX3 but still, I'm getting only EDGE! Probably that's all I can do I guess. I'll check with the operator once but then I don't have much hope too!
Anyway it was an interesting exercise (also consumed a lot of time)
Cheers!

You can only install Service ROM using the dload method.
In addition, you tried to downgrade by installing a service ROM, which is highly discouraged!
If the computer recognizes the phone as USB SER, test point & board software must be used (or DC-phoenix ).
