If you want phone encryption support, use TWRP 3.2.3-0, as it doesn't work properly in the following versions, namely 3.3.0-0 and 3.3.1-0.

Need help with a boot looping Xiaomi Mi-8SE

My unlocked bootloader Mi-8SE was running well with Mi-Globe v8.12.13 ROM and Magisk v16.6 root. I tried flashing the latest Mi-Globe v9.1.3 ROM and Magisk v18 Stable with unofficial TWRP 3.2.3 but entered a bootloop with the MI logo. It was only after some searching that I learned this device doesn't seem to work with Magisk versions later than 16.6.
The device cannot boot in recovery mode nor is it detected by the ADB devices command. It can only enter Fastboot mode via the Power + Volume Down keys. But in Fastboot mode, it cannot be detected by the Fastboot devices command. My old Mi-4C can be detected by ADB, so I know it's the Mi-8SE which is not communicating with my PC.
I can't use Mi Flash to flash a stock ROM because the device can't be detected by ADB.
Can anyone point me to some guide to help me recover my device?

Can't connect to my phone

I tried to much with installing diffent ROMs and now nothing's working anymore.
My poco starts only to fastboot but I can't connect with adb. Any other possibilities?
Drivers are all ok on the PC, because my second poco is normaly recognised.
Thanks for help.
Given unlocked bootloader, If you can only boot to fastboot maybe your recovery was deleted. You probably need to install twrp:
1.get twrp here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/recovery-official-twrp-t3883736
2. If fastboot is working then:
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/
If you can boot to twrp then flash a custom rom
Note that I'm unsure if above will work, only guessed
Can't flash twrp because in adb mode it shows < waiting for any device >

Hey there, I have found the solution to this problem. So anybody having this issue can follow this up.
The error occurs due to Windows (10) drivers incorrectly installed for the device. The solution is using a secondary phone via OTG with the app Bugjaeger (tutorials available on YouTube) to flash the TWRP image to your recovery partition. I searched this up but if no other way works for you (on PC), then you should definitely go for the provided solution.
THANKS!

Redmi 8a not opening

hi guys,
I have a Redmi 8a (unlocked) after I unlocked and installed TWRP I tried to format it from TWRP and when it restarted it just stacks on the android logo and keeps restarting, even fastboot is not opening but when I try to open the recovery
TWRP doesn't open, the official recovery opens !!!!
and when I tried to connect the boot loader using the test point it connects put the problem that when I try to install the fastboot image using miflash it errors saying "error: only nop and sig tag can be received before authentication"
thanks:crying::crying:
There isn't any need to worry as long as fastboot is accessible and device unlocked, and there was no need to access edl via test points as fastboot allows you to access it via a command on an unlocked device, but that is not needed and also wouldn't be of any help
All you need to do is flash device via fastboot mode
deleted
thank you
i solved my problem.
