Bluetooth Audio quality & Enhancement - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I used to use WIRED EARPHONES (SMILE JAMAICA) with my MOTO Z PLAY on 3.5mm jack.
Now i want to switch to wireless earphones for hassle free workout in the gym.
but the problem is Audio Quality of the Bluetooth audio.
1. Wired & WIRELESS earphones sounds same when played through any music player app, besides wired one is a bit louder.
2. but when I apply any EQ Enhancement, Wired earphones sound great & virtualization is amazing (i.e. output quality enahnces like 50 to 100) but Audio enhancements doesn't work pretty much the same with wireless earphones (i.e. output quality enahances only like 50 to 52) i.e. wireless earphones sounds like I'm playing 64kbps mp3 file.
Why it so? In developer option CODEC is SBC as earphones are only supporting SBC.

Stereo bluetooth audio to car radio - poor sound quality (low bitrate?)

I've just synced my Wizard up to my new Pioneer P65BT bluetooth car stereo and it connects perfectly and plays music in stereo - and even controls track selection via the head unit. Neat!
However when playing music (I use PocketMusic) the audio seems rather thin and distorted with a sort of high-pitched wheezy/hissy noise. It sounds very much like a low bitrate digital feed.
Any thoughts on what I can do about this as I assumed that bluetooth stereo audio should sound as good as, if not better than, using a stereo cable AUX lead (which does sounds fine).
(If this has been covered elsewhere please point me to the thread, Search seems to be broken at the moment. Cheers)
Andre
have you tried changing your BT setting with the advanced Config tool?
i Use 48000 and have a pagepool of around 50
Sounds fine to me

[Q] Beats audio icon with other headphones

Just curious, I noticed my beats audio is 'enabled' and the icon is in the tray with my other buds, and my gaming headphones (using the music app). The deep bass is present as well.
Is that normal? I thought beats audio only was active with the actual beats headphones? Does it just turn on every time you use the music app?
Nope. Any decent headset even car stereos with aux

Click to collapse
Beats audio enhancement becomes available when ever the headphone jack is used with a stock Rezound.
Yeap its an an audio setting that will work with any headphones or audio system through the 3.5 mm jack, its just that the sound profile is tuned to match the beatz headphone frequency range but will work well with lots of other brands. The jack doesnt tell the phone beatz are plugged, just that a line out is plugged in, just happens that Beatz tuned it to heat suit the exact range of their headphones.

Now if only they would enable it to be used with blue tooth Headphones.
Also i only works with the music app, wish it would also work with Pandora, but oh well! Makes me music sound great!

Bluetooth dongle or headset audio quality

I've never used a Bluetooth headset or dongle before. I've been reading up on it...and it seems that when using it for music...the Bluetooth set plays a part on how well the music sound.
Is that true? Cause, I was thinking that the set just delivers the quality your handset/mp3 player sends to it. Especially the HS3000 dongle...since you can plug in a set of your own headset into it.

[Q] stream music via two mono headsets

just interested if this is possible, i have an app which stream stereo music to a mono headset (probs mixes both channels)
however if i had two mono headsets, would it be possible to stream L audio to one headset and R audio to another? i have an old motorola headset and a newer plantronics one
No as only one bluetooth device can be active at any one time.
you could
you could use a 3.5mm audio splitter but i think it will drain battery and as from your question you want wireless but might be usefull for you.

Headphone issues?

I have two wired headphones with mic. Neither can adjust volume or use mic to be heard or pause/play anything (Youtube, phone call, Spotify, music player, etc.)
Using AKG headphones and Samsung headphone.
Anybody else? I need specified wired headphones?
I am using AKG headphones from my Note9 and at least in Amazon Music they control the music and volume. And the mic works in the LG HD audio recorder.
Thanks tried both Amazon Music and HD Recorder. Now both headphones are fully functional.
