[Xposed] Twitter AdKiller - Xposed Framework Modules

Hi, I hate ads as probably you do. I have AdAway and MinMinGuard for many years but a lot of daily apps have much smarter "native" promotions inside. An existing solutions is no longer works, so, I decided to take a look at Xposed development and create my first module.
Twitter AdKiller - removes native promotions from Twitter.
I spend 2 days debugging and reverse engineering Twitter behavior. The app is obfuscated, so it was a hundred times of trial and error.

thanks, it was installed correctly, and the advertising seems to have disappeared. essential module

!edit again!
(clear YouTube cache, uninstall module and reinstall it and it works fine. maybe it was a random bug) after 1 day it crashes again and need to fix it using above method.
crash YouTube Vanced when the module is activated.
Havoc os 2.7
EdXposed v0.4.5.1_beta(4463)
Magisk 19.3

Apparently all fine, I don't see any promoted ads, thank you man
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8+ using XDA Labs

this is working great on xiaomi.eu pie, thanks

Works just fine here. I also use YouTube Vanced and it didn't break when activating this module.
LG G6 US997, stock Oreo, Xposed 90 b3
Thanks!

It works! No promotion tweets shown.
However, when I scroll from bottom to top, timeline usually refuses to go down.
As if some promotion tweets being loaded outside of my screen then closed repeatedly.
I guess this is normal behavior but I think it's better if it could get smoother experience.

Hm, never seen that. Probably because I have other tools engaged (AdAway & MinMinGuard) and they filtering this out. I'll try to test without them.

Thank you so much for this incredibly useful module, I finally want to use the official Twitter app again, instead of wonky 3rd party clients.
Would it be possible to also block the horrible "Who to Follow" suggestions as well? That would be even more excellent.

Is there a chance that this awesome module will be updated in the future?

The module still seems to work fine with Edxposed, Twitter 8.47, Android 10 OOS.
I don't see any ads in Timeline or trending pages.

Perhaps it is not the purpose of this module, but could it also hide/block Fleets?
Fleets is Twitter's Stories being tested for Brazilians, yeah, unfortunately I'm a lucky draw of this feature that nobody asked for.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work anymore with the current last update 8.58.0

[MOD][Xposed] SnapAll : Select All for Snapchat (When stories don't cut it)

DISCONTINUED
I don't have the time or motivation to update this. If you want to update this for me, feel free, it's open source.
Intro
This module adds a checkbox to the Snapchat ActionBar on the Friend Selection screen (where you select which friends to send a snap to). The checkbox functions as a "Select All" and "Deselect All".
Requirements
-Android v15+
-Xposed Framework 30+
-Snapchat 9.5.2.0
Purpose
Sometimes a Snapchat user wants to send a mass snapchat but doesn't have time to check all their 100+ friends.
Or maybe the user wants to send it to more friends than the UI allows you to do manually (200).
Or maybe the user doesn't want something to stay in their story, but wants friends to see the Snapchat once.
Notes
Snapchat is ProGuarded so major updates will break this. I surrounded everything in a try/catch for now. I hope to look at other mods and see if there is a more robust method. Digging through ProGuarded code was quite the experience.

Ok, I updated the module. There is now a setting (Xposed Framework -> Modules -> SnapAll -> (Preferences)) to disable that. I purposely had it add the snap it to the story, I figured removing that would just be a simple extra tap, but..............................
I'm on SnapChat 8.0.1 .... I downloaded the module after updating SnapChat... When will it be working on 8.0.1?
Tried on 8.0.1 and can confirm it is working.
There is a small check box in the top right corner. Its not labeled. Have a closer look.

The select all option is cool, but is it possible to have an option to not send the snap to yourself when you select all the people on your friends list?

[MOD][Xposed][4.0+] Instagram Suggestions Hider

Instagram kept annoying me with follow suggestions at the top of my feed, filling up nearly half of my screen. So I decided to write this simple module to hide the suggestions.

@adpar broken on 7.13.1 , pls update!
does it work with Instagram v7.15?
bump for updating the module for v7.16.x
After I published the original mod, Instagram modified their source code so it became a lot harder to get it to work, which would cost me too much of my spare time. However, I noticed today that they added a remove button to the suggestions, so that sort of fixes the problem. I will remove the mod from the Xposed repo in the near future to avoid further confusion.

Please, note:
1. It still can show first sponsored post for some reason... Just scroll it down and up again - it will disappear. I'll try to figure this out, Instagram uses some unusual way to prepare first screen (probably due to startup performance).
2. When you open Instagram first time with this module (or when your Instagram get updated) it can take some time to load... Takes 5 second on my Snapdragon 845. During this time I perform lookup for classes over entire package, because class names are random... Then it is saved to extStorage/.Instagram folder and subsequent startups takes 1 sec. Make sure you granted Storage app permission in App Info, otherwise it will start slowly every time.
Hello and thanks for this necessary modules.
I was scrolling for a long time instagram's feed and I didn't got any sponsored post which is really awesome.
The only place when I still see sponsored posts is between 2/3 stories like it was before but it is not a big deal.

Thanks for this working great...
Awesome, this module works!
It did make Instagram slower on first run, but that fixed itself after 15 seconds (due to the heavy lookup I reckon, as dev points out).
It blocks all feed ads, but no story ad. May be in a future update?
I noticed one single caveat, after installing this module the top bar in the Instagram app (that has the messenger icon) begins to overlap over the stories bar.
I will update with logs. Thanks for the module.

Getting the same issue here. Instagram 100.0.0.17.129 (same version as in OP), Android KitKat 4.4.2. All sponsored posts still show up (not just the first) and even if I scrolled down and up again.
This module is great. Just wanted to report that something has updated in Instagram version 118.0.0.28.112 and I can see all those sponsored ads. I will just rollback to older version of the app for now.
I installed this app, but nothing happens, there is not even the app icon in my apps. (Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro)

[MOD][XPOSED]Unclutter IG - Hide Instagram ads & sponsored content [v1.2][2019-08-11]

[MOD][XPOSED]Unclutter IG - Hide Instagram ads & sponsored content [v1.2][2019-08-11]
Remove the clutter from your IG experience -- this Xposed module hides advertisements and promoted content from your Instagram feed and stories.
Also has bonus option to clean up the Explore (search) page; choose to stop showing all those suggested posts from public accounts.
As of 08/11/2019, confirmed to support latest release 105.0.0.18.119.
This module automates the process of intercepting and hiding the unwanted content, and shouldn't rely on specific IG versions to function properly.
However, if newer IG versions begin to break functionality, module updates should hopefully follow soon to keep up with the changes.
Note: Beyond the standard ads, 'paid partnership' branded content refers to any posts that are officially labeled as 'Paid partnership with [company]'.
Changelog
v1.2 - 8/11/2019:
• Added international support for hiding ads
v1.1 - 8/03/2019:
• Revised approach for finding the Explore page hooks; should support latest IG versions
v1.0 - 07/12/2019:
• Initial release

It's a false positive, you can safely ignore it.
New version 1.1 released, should support IG v104.0.0.21.118.
I noticed when I updated to that version, the module wasn't hiding the Explore page anymore. Some things changed internally, so I took a new approach to detecting whether I'm in the right areas of the Explore page. It's somewhat more hackish, but it should hopefully be more reliable moving forward.

They don't show up for me. I'm using the latest stable version of Instagram. Do note that this module is intended to work on the official version of Instagram, not a modded version (ike GBInsta, etc.) with which it may or may not work since the app is already modified.
I can't make it work is it because I'm using French language and so it can't recognize the sponsored post ??
The one from xkip works but stories are cut in half (the profile icon)
@Tremendo Slap I'm getting sponsored Ads when looking at stories too. It's happens when you look at one story after another.

*Forehead slap* Yes, because when I started making this mod for myself, it never even occurred to me to consider other languages! I was using a hardcoded string.
Pretty dumb oversight on my part. I've made the change in the latest version 1.2.

[Xposed][MODULE][6.0+] Xtadia - Play your Stadia games anywhere

Xtadia
Xtadia is a very simple Xposed module that allows to play Stadia games on any phones and any connection type.
It workarounds the current limitation of needing a Pixel phone and a WiFi network, by simulating exactly that to the Stadia app.
Google announced that these limitations were temporary, so this module will fill the gap until it is officially allowed.
Warning :
Note that these limitations were put in place for a reason, and you may not have an optimal experience at the moment by using an untested connection/configuration, on a beta service.
Compatibility :
Built for Android M+ , like Stadia.
Tested with EdXposed on Android Pie and Q.

Especially since I have a OnePlus 3T, tested it on OOS Pie and now HavocOS on Android 10 as well, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'm afraid not ! But that restriction may be linked to your Google account country actually, isn't it ? In that case I can't spoof that through a module, your best bet would be to try and change that in your google account's settings ? Don't know much about that honestly.

There's another module that should do that already, it's called FakeWifi - it should work for most apps, but not for Stadia as Stadia calls an API that is not spoofed by FakeWifi. Do you have a specific app in mind ?

It's a module for the existing Stadia app, so there is no interface - for it to work you must go in your Xposed module list and enable the Xtadia module. That's all.
If you're not familiar with Xposed, I'd advise a whole lot of reading about it - basically, Xposed is a framework that allows modules (like Xtadia) to "modify" applications (like Stadia). Install either Xposed Framework or EdXposed.

I can install it from the regular file explorer like any other apk but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Obviously ? It is though. And I tested installing it from there too. I even included the repo link in the thread .

Yeah sorry, no idea. It definitely wouldn't show up in my Xposed for some reason. Maybe it's not a default repo in Xposed? I've never really used anything other than the default repos built into Xposed so my apologies. I followed the instructions here and then was able to install it through EdXposed and can confirm it works great.
