Obv man motor will make some noise. For me mechanical is the best sound effect.

i love the 3.0 sense camera for panorama but damn the camcorder on the other hand, mic sensitivity is to high...when recording in high traffic areas with loud noise and sounds i end up with a video that just has the sound is just distorted...anyone else have this problem? maybe i should just reinstall the original camera any thoughts on ways of tweaking mic sensitivity i've googled but to no avail

Probably best to ask this question on their forums, seeing as the dev no longer offers support on this site.
Does anyone else hear a clicking sound from the autofocus mechanism when using the camera? Whenever the camera focuses, there is at least one click. Occurs a lot with the video camera when panning which requires the autofocus to constantly refocus. It's not loud, but annoying.
This is not an issue when actually recording video as it appears that autofocus is not active while recording.
I don't have my Rezound yet, but my Desire's camera clicks once in a while when it is shutting down.
yes, that's just the lens moving around. it makes noise.

I've just noticed a very slight click sound when I launch the camera on the s3. Only the rear camera not the front one. Dont think it was there before and just wondering if its a problem. As I said its very slight and only when you launch the camera not when taking pics, switching to video mode etc.

My new HTC One (bought it in Australia) sometimes makes a high pitched scream screech sound when I use the Touch to Capture feature when taking photos. If I use the normal shutter icon (with the shutter sound off) it doesn't make the high pitched sound at all. If I reboot the phone or kill the camera app (dragging the camera off from the multi-task window) then it is fine again for x number of photos.
My best guess is that it has something to do with the Optical Image Stabilization doing something funny? That is how it moves the CCD so as to counter camera shake. Is it possible that it has to focus faster when you touch the screen? It is still taking amazing sharp clear photos.
My samsung camera act strangly. When I open camera app it makes a funny buzzing noise , and and screen shows artefacts in form of a snow effect or wave especially when switching between tracking AF and video stabilization.

This happened to me. Ended having my carrier replace the camera lens and eventually they replaced the entire phone. When I talked to Samsung they said it was a hardware failure.
