LG G5 H850 stuck in fastboot and cannot unlock bootloader - LG G5 Questions & Answers

Hello, my friend just give me his phone and ask me for help:
Phone will not boot to OS
phone always load only screen: Wellcome to Fastboot mode for bootloader unlock
i try to unlock bootloader with file from official LG site but :
d:\tools>fastboot flash unlock unlock.bin
Sending 'unlock' (1 KB) OKAY [ 0.040s]
Writing 'unlock' FAILED (remote: oem unlock is not allowed)

From my point of view this is issue in phone developer options isnt it allowed OEM UNLOCK.
Problem is i cannot boot to OS so i can allow it.
I cannot do this step :
Activate OEM unlock on the phone. Activate the “Enable OEM unlock” option because it is required to unlock the bootloader. To enable OEM unlock, go to Settings >> Developer Options and select “Enable OEM unlock”.
Click to collapse
Have anyone idea how to enable OEM unlock without possibility to boot in OS ? Or how to flash new ROM in phone so i can boot to any OS ?
PS: LGUP not detect phone...
PS2: only detected device in my Windows OS is : Android Bootloader Interface

Are you actually booting into Download mode (by holding vol+ and *on* button) ??
If so then try to use uppercut, as found in this forums development section. Or the
patched LG Up that you can find info about on xda as well.
As long as you have a functional LAF/Download mode, there's no reason why you
wouldn't be able to restore the phone. So don't freak out and do something reckless.

Thanks for answer : askermk2000
but, anything i do , power up with + or power up with - , nothing bring me to other screen than screen with "Wellcome to Fastboot mode for bootloader unlock"
I also trying with battery out and boot again. Nothing help to get other screen. Always is some

How Can i Flash Android or factory reset or unlock bootloader
Sorry English not my first language .
Well, you need to do the following:
1- Download the firmware from here
then extract the file to get the "dload" folder.
2-Get sdcard and use card reader so your pc be able to read it as a flash stick.
3- copy "dload" folder to sdcard, then insert it into your device.
4- Get into the recovery mode,
by completely turning off your device, then press (Vlo. UP + power) buttons, wait the device vibs, release the power button and keep "vol. up" one, till you get into the recovery mode.
and from the list, chose "upgrade from sdcard" option (the last one), and your device will start re-installing the whole system again.

What did you do to get your device like that?
Generally you will find the IMEI of your device on label sticker comes with the device box, usually between the manual's pages.
Try this method to unlock the bootloader, it MIGHT work, i'm not sure, but give it a try
Get into fastboot mode (Vol. down + power) then
type this code:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock 1282022012246616

How to wipe cache partition on stock global 10.3.6.0

Hi all,
How can I wipe the cache partition on a Poco F1 with 10.3.6.0 Global stable (stock, so not rooted)? Booting in recovery mode gives me a custom recovery with only the option to wipe all data. Can Mi Assistant help here? Or are there other options?
Google would have helped you... Reboot to recovery and try 'fastboot erase cache'. Sometimes you need a 'sudo su' before that.

Well, as I said: I have stock ROM. As far as I see I do not have any option to erase system cache in the default recovery.
As I said as well: I have stock firmware, perhaps should have added locked bootloader. So no possibility to use fastboot (again, correct me if I'm wrong).
If the only option is to unlock the bootloader I can just replace recovery with TWRP, but I'd like to avoid having to unlock...
Hi there,
First enable USB debugging in the developer options. To enable developer options, you have to tap five times on the miui version in the about phone. Connect your PC and accept the pop up in your phone to register the pc in your phone. Power off your phone first and press power button and volume down simultaneously to take you to fastboot mode. If it goes to bootloader mode, then select the option to go to fastboot mode. If the bootloader mode is in Chinese then search some forums to select the fastboot mode appropriately.
Before all these. Install minimum ADB tools in your PC. Execute fastboot commands once connected to your phone in fastboot mode.
This is very simple once you are familiar with the process. Until then these seems a nightmare'.
Cheers
sssyraj
Hit thanks if it helps you.
And just to add to the above instructions, you don't need an unlocked bootloader, just have USB debugging enabled, to use fastboot.
You use fastboot to unlock the bootloader and it would be a mite hard (and redundant) if you needed the bootloader unlocked to unlock the bootloader...
Also, just to confirm the phone is being detected in fastboot mode use the command "fastboot devices" to see if the phone is recognised.. It should show a number otherwise if it is just a blank space fastboot hasn't recognised your phone...

Got it into fastboot, but now it throws an error. Google search did not give a real solution.
Error shown:
Code:

With that error shown I'm not sure what formatting will do. If the current type is ext4, then you should be fine. But it is looking like you're a candidate for unlocking your bootloader...

You must connect Motorola phones to internet if OEM unlock is greyed out.
It can take 3-14+ days after connecting to internet to be available.
Thank you for the confirmation I connected the phone yesterday to the internet

Question Stuck in fastboot mode

Hello everybody,
My phone's battery died and I charged it. When I tried to turn it on, I saw this screen. I've tried clicking on the options but it's stuck in a loop and I don't understand what's happening.
If anyone has experienced this issue before, I'm reaching out for your help. Please assist me.
Flashing factory firmware in fastboot might be the only option. Doing such will wipe everything on your device though!

Since your bootloader is locked the only way to flash the OS is to sideload the Full OTA via ADB or use Pixel Flasher to sideload it. If you happen to have OEM Unlocking enabled in Developer Options you can use Android Flash Tool as that will unlock your bootloader as long as OEM Unlocking is enabled. If it isn't, sideloading the OTA will be the only way to reinstall your OS to hopefully get you out of this.

Oops! You are right, mate.
Hello so I am stuck here
When I go to Android Flash Tool it's says :
"Device Unlock DisabledFor security reasons, you need to enable "OEM unlocking" in order to flash your device. "
And when I tape in CMD the command "faastboot falshing unlock" it says
"FAILED (remote: 'flashing unlock is not allowed')
fastboot: error: Command failed"
Is there a way to unlock the devices states I have seen a video when
when a guy is using a unlock.bin he download at LG offcial site. Does Google have an alternative where can I download this type of file for my Pixel 6.
Google doesn't have an alternative. If you can't flash the OTA, and apparently you can't because OEM unlocking wasn't enabled in developer options, you need to get a hold of Google and explain your situation to them. You'll likely have to send it back to them, if able to do so.
You can't enable OEM unlock by fastboot/recovery.
Can you boot into recovery?
If yes, then this is your only way out!

Use image of OTA, not Full!

Unfortunately, it is not possible as my phone is showing that it is locked and I am unable to access the settings to unlock the OEM, since I am stuck in fastboot mode. Guess it's dead only if there is a way to unlock the OEM without going to setting.

You misunderstood!
You don't get to do anything from fastboot with OEM locked.
I asked if you can enter RECOVERY mode?
If yes, then visit the link I shared.
btw, why on earth you are flashing 'adb'?

Unfortunately, when I go into recovery mode, it keeps looping back to the original screen in an infinite loop.
I lost hope and went to a repair shop, but they told me to contact Google. The customer service will send me a package to return my phone. I didn't know that the OEM was so important, I will activate it next time. Tanks for your helps ...

Serious bricked device unable to unlock bootloader or flash firmware, stuck in Fastboot - OnePlus 7T Pro (hotdog)

Hello,
I have a OnePlus 7T Pro (codename "hotdog") that is currently in a non-working state. My goal flash my magisk boot.img which I created, however I accidentally locked the bootloader. Unfortunately, I'm currently stuck and unable to progress.
Here is what I've tried:
I attempted to unlock the bootloader via fastboot with fastboot oem unlock, but received a FAILED (remote: Flashing Unlock is not allowed) message. I understand this usually means the OEM Unlocking option in the Developer Options isn't enabled.
The problem is that I can't access the Android OS on the device to enable OEM Unlocking. The device boots directly into Fastboot Mode and I can't navigate anywhere else.
I tried to flash the stock firmware, but I received an error message stating FAILED (remote: Flashing is not allowed in Lock State). This indicates that I can't flash files to the device while the bootloader is locked.
In short, I can't unlock the bootloader because I can't enable OEM Unlocking, and I can't flash the stock firmware because the bootloader is locked. I'm stuck in a loop and unsure how to proceed.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated! I'm open to all suggestions and willing to provide additional details if necessary. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
The only thing I have is that my device is shown as connected in cmd and the command list available, other than, the ability to flash
