Xiaomi mi A3 48 mp mode issue - Xiaomi Mi A3 Questions & Answers

Hi there!
just got the Mi A3 and noticed a big issue with the stock camera app in 48 mp mode,
when checking info of the photo it says briefly : 48 mp 6000x8000 17mb
after about 10 seconds it automatic changes resolution to 16mp 3464x4618 17mb
so... filesize stays the same? and why the mp downsize?
problem occurs in both pro and normal 48mp mode...
latest updates are installed..
anyone tips?
thanks in advanced!

Auto 16 by 9: 8mp
4 by 3: 5mp
Auto recording: 1080p
Snap during rec: 2mp
Note to OP: its harder to capture enough light to fill a image canvas when its 3860 by 2660 pixels vs 1920 by 1080
It should apear darker in higher resolutions or higher framerates, this is normal

Mate 10 PRO 20mp vs 12mp

Does anyone knows if when we use the 12mp configuration on monochrome ... the phone actually uses the 20mp monochrome sensor?
ive been looking to read some tech specification about the mate 10 pro camera configuration, but i dindt find any.
I can use 20mp sensor in color mode but loose the zoom ...
I think monochrome mode will always use the upper monochrome camera. For any other mode, the lower color camera will be used. For AI or standard mode, both cameras will be used to properly recognise objects.

Is there any possibility to increase Camera shutter speed to 16 seconds or 30 seconds for Moto G5s Plus (India).
Running Android Oreo 8.1.0
API 2 support: Level 3 available. (But max shutter speed goes to 1/4s in stock camera and another app it goes to 1/3s.
