New Update for Verge - Amazfit

Weibo Amazfit saying about new update, how i understand update is for Verge smart watch. Description talking about optimization, so maybe finally will be fixed some issues/bugs which was after past updates. As i saw international update must be about middle of month or faster
Source: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4402763091901649

It's Chinese 3.0.41.0 version, not the US/International/Global.

Well yeah, i know and understand that, but must be International/US update too in any days. Past update release about middle of July, so this one, even if released Chinese version, must be too about middle of August, i think. Most updates came similar time as i saw.
By the way if someone will get update for Verge, please write here what's new in it. Thanks in advance.

CN version is updated weekly, US version used to be updated every 4-6 weeks, but nowadays seems to be updated every 6-8 weeks so let's see.

Last update for Verge International/Global/US version was released the same days as Amazfit watch app (Android), it's about July 13 - 16 days or closer to it, I don't remember now exactly date, but that was middle of July or closer to it. The same, I think, will be now too, even when you saying similar period. Coz last time Amazfit app for Android and update for Verge released almost or the same days, I thought after released of Amazfit app 3.2.0 version will be the same now. But looks like these update is not related with each other and releasing at different times and can be that ROM update will release without app release.
What's will be new? I guess: some new faces, bugs/issues fixing and stabilization, also can be new features/widget and ect.
Of course we will see, just need to be patience, but it's a little bit hard to do, when your watch battery need to charge almost every 3 days or closer to four, sometime faster. So I still waiting for battery optimization, of course I love all the time to get some new faces, coz Huami/Amazfit developers doing it great. Also still waiting Alexa or any other voice assistant for Europe/Global/International costumers. So I hope they will be as soon as possible, maybe this time
P.S. From next weekend I guess we can check is new update or not or just to wait notification about it in watch

Like I mentioned at middle of month must be update for Verge. So I got one today with number 3.2.5.0.
What's new? Actually nothing. Just some simple things like:
Redesigned dial pad, which, if say honest, did just with bigger number, that's all
Refined translations of Japanese, which for Global world is not need it. So again empty update from Amazfit/Huami, like was with Alexa update for US.
There are no any new watch faces, new features or bugs/issues fixed, which I hoped will be fixed at last. I don't talk about Alexa or any others voice assistant for Global world, even European costumers, which probably will not be at all until this model will get support.
In a place of that I can't to update my weather information, cuz in Watch app often I can't find location by GPS or at all to find it manully. GPS loading information very long often, manually writing that can't find.
If I did not wrote yet, thank you, Amazfit, for empty update which probably will kill my battery faster again and without weather, which information was until now often incorrect, but after update I will not know it now at all. Cuz I can't to update it, bravo ":good:" Perfect.
If you are not from Japan, I don't recommend to update, but... Probably you will have to do anyway... Cuz watch will do automatic probably that if you will not do later, but I hope i'm wrong and there is no automatic update in watch
ADDED SCREENSHOT
UPDATED: After factory reset of Verge in Watch app location is finding good and fast, even manually. So as always after update need to do factory reset too. Bravo, Amazfit, stability is perfect in yours software. But if say without sarcasm, when you do factory reset do it without restore in Watch app. As I know restoring only settings, with it backing all problems again. So don't do restore in watch app. Yours activities data will not lose at all and it doesn't matter that you can see it in watch, that day when you doing factory reset only this day you will lose in watch (will be not showing), but not in app. Others yours activities is safe. Past days I mean. But as I mentioned I don't recommend to update if you are not from Japan and small redesign is not important for you. Even if you do not want to reset yours watch factory setting and to lose in watch that day activities.

Yes, a tiny toon update for global market. Shame.

It's not for Global, I will call it for Japan only, coz redesigned dial when numbers just is bigger is not big deal I think, but maybe just for me, I agree really shame. Costumers still waiting for voice assistant, but even watch faces, new others features like payment via watch and ect., is not added in this update

SOME UPDATED INFORMATION:
After to update to 3.2.5.0 Verge ROM first day after factory reset wasn't synchronized sleep activity between app and watch (in app wasn't showed it), I had to add it in app manually. Tonight wasn't tracked sleep activity at all. I had to add it manually to app.
I STILL DON'T RECOMMEND TO UPDATE TO 3.2.5.0 version VERGE WATCH, cuz will be a lot of problems and always need to do FACTORY RESET. Which I have to do again. Coz I don't know where is problem that don't tracking or synchronized my sleep activity.

After 3.2.5.0 update.
My Verge was updated automatically and since then no problems - synchronisation works, sleep is tracked, everything seems to be fine.

Don't know, but I never had to do a factory reset after an update. Everything is running stable since at least half a year and battery/sync is good. I have to say that I use AmazMod for notifications instead of Amazfits own. Might that be a reason?

Maybe, I really don't using AmazMod and everything in my watch/smartphone is original. I mean there is no 3rd parties apps like AmazMod in watch or there is no rooted both devices. I don't know why i'm so "lucky", but from day when I bought Verge after update I did factory reset more as 3 - 5 times, maybe more

I don't know why i'm so "lucky", but I had did factory reset after update more time. But now after 3rd reset from last update everything working fine. Just with Compass old problem, which I had test some days ago under sky, altitude always is not working (exactly altitude only), from day when I bought I tried in some situation, all the time was under sky, also in yard where wasn't any magnetic fields, but couldn't found how high i'm. I don't know or I do something wrong or something wrong with watch. Amazfit couldn't explain how to use it and where is problem.

3.2.6.0 update for Verge 2019.09.13 - 2019.09.27, any news, information about that?

I had some and still have: from wrong location in weather to battery performance (with most activated features only 3 days and this is the best tries, when before all updates which i got from March of this year, i could do not charge 4 days and was about 30% alive of battery)
By the way, have you any news when will be new update for Verge (ROM)? I thought some new features will be in August update, but was strange update at all, even for rest world costumers, except Japan, but this time I have feelings that upcoming new update can be with some news really (I mean new features and ect.), coz too soon i expected it in August update. So after month maybe will be voice assistant and ect., at last? I starting to thing that Amazfit is unfair a little bit with costumers which living in not US or China market. To advertising Verge watch with voice assistant which most market can't have it's not pretty steps from it I hope i will can use voice assistant until warranty will ends, i really hope... In others ways it's first and last product from Amazfit/Huami/Xioami at all :fingers-crossed:
P.S. Last time when i talk with Amazfit i got information that about new feature like voice assistant will be said to developers, so after month which i mentioned i hope they will add it to watch features list, also as i know developers must be informed about calendar widget in Verge and some others things. So ran out month, maybe at last non US/China costumer will can enjoy voice feature. Need massive ask about it, coz i'm afraid warranty will ends faster till we will get this feature official without any strange methods which was mentioned here like phone language English and ect

Where the hell is update for Verge? Already month ran out, there is no Amazfit app update too. I hope they will release huge update, not simple as was last.

At last Amazfit app for Android out today. What's new:
The satellite map mode is added into the workout tracks map;
The workout history summary page is optimized, and the sharing feature is introduced.
App you can update from Google Play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager (Version 3.4.1-play)
If version is not compitabled, you can try from APKMirror - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/huami/amazfit-watch/ (Latest version in here is 3.2.0-play)
Waiting update for Verge watch, which I hope will be in any days

do not update to 3.4.1, wait for 3.4.2.

Why? You mean crashing? For me working fine, there is no any crashing until now. By the way I don't use sport modes in watch and my smartphone still running Android 6.0, so maybe crashing only in Pie, which costumers reporting about this problem. About 3.4.2 there is no any information how I saw.
UPDATED: Released, but I don't understand why need this update if everything is fine? By the way do you know when will release ROM update for Verge and what will be in it new? As I know must be in any days (by plans, dates).

Seems that Verge was a very bad seller. Zero attention from Huami and updates that means nothing... Sad, it's a cool watch.

[Q] Google Now Reminder Alarms Not Working- It's Driving Me Nuts!!!

I hope someone can suggest some ideas. I've been trying for months to get the alarm notifications to work on my Verizon S3. I've spent hours and hours for month after month looking at the forums, and have not been able to fix it- I really, really would like to get this to work!
The problem is, I never get alarm reminders for either:
- time to leave/traffic alerts when I have upcoming appointments
- reminders based on location
I've tried everything I know of in the book- I need an expert to please help me get this working!!! Either I'm doing something really stupid and missing something, I have some setting(s) wrong, or Google Now is somehow broken for me. Sorry for the frustration...
I'm running a Verizon S3, with 4.2.1 and recently I rooted the phone (the notifications have not worked since before nor after the rooting- I did it for other reasons).
PLEASE HELP!!!
Please- any suggestions? I'm willing to start at the basics (in case I missed something) all the way to the complex. I really could use some advise on getting the alarms to work on Google Now notifications...
I've had the same thing happening for about 2 months now (from August 2013), and even with factory wipes and firmware flashes it hasn't come back to me. :/ It's worked once or twice but I haven't figured out if I had done anything before hand to get it back. Then afterwards it stopped working again.
Same for me yet. I've hard reset both my S3 and my Nexus 7, and not luck. Rarely do I get any notices, and if I happen to, it's not at the right time. Must be on Google's end on my account or something. Very, very disappointing, with little hope if it's not specific to the device...
Me too! Try this....

Also happening to me on my Note 3 t-mobile. I have flashed many roms. I even reverted back to stock, and did an OTA update to 4.4.2 and so forth.
The only thing that made a difference was if I sign in to Google Now using my backup Google account, then IT WORKS! So I think that Google is having problems on the back end. There is absolutely no difference between my Google accounts. Why would one work and one not work? I've been posting it all over the web and Google tech support. You should too!
Solution Found
I found a solution to the problem. After being a die-hard advocate for Android, I gave up about 6 months ago and bought an iPhone. It works wonderfully, and does everything it's supposed to, when and where it is supposed to. Reception and voice recognition are better than my S3 was too. I've given up a few things (customization, screen size, etc.), but I finally have a phone that just works. I can add apps, delete them, change settings, etc., and things don't get screwed up; and I don't have to hard reset and start over with my phone again. Plus, most of the Google apps are available on the iphone, including Google Now.
I may look at Android again when version 5.0 comes out; but even with that, if it's my account that's messed up, I doubt I will ever get it fixed...
I really liked Android, but I finally got soooo tired of having to spend so much time getting it to work...
Google now reminders not working possible solution
Okay so I purchased a phone LG G Flex unlocked from T-mobile and using on Metro PCS two weeks ago, prior to this phone I had a Note 3 and used Google Now to set remianders with no problems. When I activated my FLEX and started using google now it did not remind me, i could see the reminders on google cards but no notification and or finger with string in the notification bar to actually remind me. I was really bummed and fustrated as I depend on the reminder function alot. Not having any luck getting Google Now remainders to work I started searching for other apps simular to it, just something to remind me. But funny enough all the others application I found on the app store would do the same thing NO reminders, so I started thinking it may not actually be Google Now but something on my phone. I finally found an application called Robin that did work but gave me my reminders about 2 or three mins before or after the set time, nevertheless it was working but early or late notifications still bothered me. So i decided to turn off the automatic time zone/Network provider time and Automatic date and time/Network provided time and that did the trick for me. I started up Google Now and set like a hundred reminders to test it and they all came in on time. I dont know if the phone being unlocked and used on another network made the network time buggy but as long as I keep the automatic date and time off it works well. I dont know if this is the solution for everyone but it was for me. hope this help.
Fantastic and detailed reply- thanks!
I also switched phones, now I'm on a LG G3 (love the phone)! I seem to be getting almost all of my notifications now, but I'll try to pay a little more attention to it, and keep your suggestion in mind if I'm having any troubles. Thanks again for the information!

Can Google now show reminders while offline? I know I cant set or delete a reminder offline. But can it remind for an already set reminder offline?

phone has android wear 1.1.1.1901499, lg g watch still has 5.0.2

My phone received android wear 1.1.1.1901499 last night but my lg g watch still has 5.0.2
I have tried the 'system updates' in the watch settings-about, but still not getting 5.1.1 to watch. Also restarted the watch. Are these the correct versions for the update?
Just wait a few days, the update to 5.1.1 is comming and some of us already have it.
In my case (and yours) we will have to wait for the next batch (usually a few days if no crash were found for the first few users).
If you don't want to wait and are not afraid of doing potentially dangerous stuff on your watch, there are many threads that explains how to force the update.
Be sure to read everything before starting to do something, you don't want your watch not to boot again ^^

So doesn't the phone android wear app update to version 1.1.1.1901499 cause the watch to update to 5.1.1?
Those are two compeletely different things.
Your phone got the update of the app from the play store, you can have the update on the phone even if you don't have a watch.
The watch is updated via the application on the phone (I don't know if the app have to be up-to-date to be able to update the watch, maybe, but you'll always have the app update before the watch updates are released so no worries).
your situation is same as mine
yesterday i mis-touched the reset
after my watch reset and i got the update!!
hope this will help
I received the update onto G Watch last night
I like it, nice update.
-The menu/app launcher is better organized now that there are 3 sections (apps, contacts, actions/menu), swipe left/right to go between.
-Draw emoji worked well on simple test (takes several menu taps to get through the process, which is probably good so I don't send the wrong emoji).
-Screen did not lock when I took watch off (after setting pattern). There was a menu to lock now, that worked however. Pattern then shows on top of my watchface(Watchmaker), unlocked with correct pattern as expected.
-enabled priority notifications. Now I get a star on top my watchface which I assume means there is a notification but I cannot get it to show. swipe up from bottom edge did not work for me
-wristflick through notifications works (after sending several test notifications from phone)
Everyone but me probably understands this, but...
I'll just risk ridicule and ask:
What is the relationship between Android Wear 1.1.1.1901499 and so-called Android Wear 5.1.1? The issue baffles me.
Is it Lollipop for smartwatches, or Android Wear? Or does one need both? If so, why?
Yes, I understand the Lollipop update cycle as I have a phone with 5.0 (Moto X2) and a phone with 5.1 (Nexus 6), and my Moto 360 is running 5.0.2. So, that's clear enough. But then my Android Wear app updates and announces under "what's new" all the features that people are talking about, (wifi, etc.) as if I should be able to use them right away. But I can't as of today, and people are still all over the threads talking about the LG Urbane, and the Asus Zen Watch getting "the update." But WHAT update?
So, even if the answer begins, "Well, duh..." I'd still like to understand the issue if someone has the time and patience to explain it. Thanks.
For the phone to know how to communicate with the watch under 5.1.1, you have to have an up to date android wear app on your phone.
On an old version, you will not have the options to configure the new features from your phone.

Moto 360 sport AW2.0 comments

just thought that we could use a thread for the sport users and comments on the AW2 update, considering how poorly viewed the Moto 360 v2 update was, and how many sport users would definitely profit from viewpoints of those who have the update.
I updated yesterday, and to be honest I was pretty excited. First things first, how the update went; while many people had difficulties updating, I had no such problem with mine. I enabled the always on while charging, got to the update screen, put it on the charger, and let it go( all done through the slow but not too slow Bluetooth connection). It downloaded, installed, and rebooted (which took longer than I anticipated). The setup process was quick and easy for me, and once I got setup I was off. The first thing I did was slide left for my apps, only to remember that this function is reserved for the watch faces now. I actually enjoy this feature, as it took ages to change a face on AW1.5( I can now put my favorite faces in a line, instead of setting the top three faces over and over until they were definitely in my recents). Next, I opened my app menu. This is a great feature now. The ability to put the apps I actually use at the top is very nice. Speaking of apps, let me touch on those. The play store CAN eat up some battery, so you might want to watch it(zing). It wasn't until I got AW2 that I realized that most wear apps are designed now with 2.0 in mind. The usability is increased, there are more options, and the apps are just..... Better. There's not an easy way to explain it without experiencing it.
Overall, I've been very pleased with this update. It seems more stable than AW1.5, not to mention more modern. I do have to say that the battery is going to die faster, but only if you're using it extensively. My watch battery currently is in a better standard than my phone's (but with a LG K10 what can you do?). Today, with activities including looking at my agenda, texting people back with the keyboard (which is so accurate I might DIE), looking through apps on the play store, and checking notifications, my battery is at 30%, and that's with 13 hours. Notifications, when set to high, work completely fine for me and I enjoy the new look greatly. all of the problems faced by the gen2 users I cannot find a existence of. I would recommend this update, as it seems that Motorola took the time they spent denying us our update and used it to fix the problems the gen 2 users had.
I agree - I love this update! With AW 2 the sport feels like a new watch. Sure, accessing apps is different than before ( no more swipe left) but that's fine - easy too adjust.
Battery life is pretty much the same as before for me and love the new look for the app drawer and notifications.
*Edited for corrections
Just got the update, I'll install it later and report back, I'm excited.
Update: okay I installed it a couple days ago and so far it's pretty smooth, better than before. Battery life is hard to tell yet but so far it's good, I'll update on that later. The OS has a ton of new features that were previously only on phones such as disabling apps and turning off Bluetooth which is cool. Typing on the tiny keyboard and with drawing is actually fairly easy. So far I'm loving the update, not a bad thing to say yet besides getting used to the new UI and it's various changes like opening the apps list with the button and scrolling fast up will scroll through the top notification (scrolling has more inertia basically). Oh, and the security patch is April 1, 2017.
Good post @Nobodyslight . I'm enjoying it too although I'm not using it quite as much as you are. I'll need to explore some more but right now I'm doing the Android O thing. One question is on notifications set to high. I haven't done it but I do like that once you view an on screen noti then it doesn't appear again unless you swipe up. You don't even have to swipe it away like before. With it set to high vs normal does that feature go away? In other words will the notification say on top of the face until you dismiss it?

It does stay, but you can swipe down to go back to the watch face. But I think under the app settings in settings you can change which apps can get that priority; so if you wanted only some apps to show up like that, you could arrange it that way

Thanks, but not seeing individual permissions. Not a big deal because I really don't want any app noti to stay on top. Good to know that is what high priority does. I'll stay away.
As for battery, I just hade a gps running (Strava) for the past almost 4 hours and I still have 50% left. I'll give it a quick charge now but that's really not too bad.
Mine was stuck on the 'continue setup on your phone' screen and I stupidly de-registered it with my phone. I can't even hard reset cause if I go onto recovery mode I can't swipe up or down. So it's pretty much dead any ideas?
Continuing here from where I reported in on the other thread; Went to bed with 100% battery and started sleep tracking from the watch on Sleep with Android. Put the watch into Theater mode and got a solid 6 hours sleep. Woke up to 50% battery. On Wear 1.5 I was waking up to 73~75%. Some watch owners that use Sleep are reporting that heart rate monitoring during sleep tracking was broken after upgrading to 2.0, while mine was so much more accurate than the last 3 months.
Overall, now that I've got vibration with my notifications, I've got hope for 2.0, battery issues aside. Overall the watch is much more responsive. The animations are smooth. The keyboard, I'm honestly shocked it works this well. Speech to text, 2.0 stomps the old 1.5.
I'm liking it ? We waited for a more polished version I think. I like my watch again.

You can try to factory reset without enter recovery mode:
1) from the watch Settings --> System --> Unpair and reset
or
2) from the phone, using Android Wear and selecting "unpair the watch"

Can't enter settings during the initial setup and I disconnected the watch but the watch stays hanging on the setup screen. I tried entering receiver to hard reset it but when I swipe up or down on the screen I can't change the option. I can only reboot
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to shuffle my running playlist since upgrading to AW2.0.
Has anyone figured out how to make this work yet?
But the battery life is not as AW 1.5 BTW which watchfaces do you use for complications support?

just thought that we could use a thread for the sport users and comments on the AW2 update, considering how poorly viewed the Moto 360 v2 update was, and how many sport users would definitely profit from viewpoints of those who have the update.

Hello everyone!
I have the next issue:
Google feed is not working AT ALL in the moto 360 sport.
I was a beta tester of google app, but leave the beta to test is that make the trick, but again a no-go.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The Google fees isn't as it is in the app. The only things that'll pop up in there is weather, and some location tidbits(assuming you have location on on your phone and watch, and you allow Google to give you location based cards)
I just purchased 2 of the 360 sport and first thing I did was upgrade them to 2.0. I originally had a Gear 2 Neo that was hacked to run android 1.5 on it. My wife had the Gear fit 2. So that is what I compare my experience to.
Here are my impressions so far:
Battery life seems pretty bad. I barely get a full day out of it. My Neo would easily go 2 days and my wife's fit 2 would go 3 - 4.
The screen doesn't respond as I would expect. It seems to not know exactly which way I want to swipe all the time.
Step counter is incredibly inaccurate. both watches consistently seem to only catch 50% of the steps. My wife is sending hers back for this reason.
Even though I have enabled "OK Google" in the settings, it never responds. Only way I can get speech recognition to work is hold down the menu button.
I have had mine randomly reboot twice. My Gear 2 Neo would do this occasionally but it was somewhat expected being hacked to run wear.
Not sure if I should send mine back and purchase a Gear s2. I did some Googling and these issues seem to be very common. Anyone have experience with the Gear S2 that can give me a comparison? Really like the 2.0 interface and the Moto360 is a nice watch, if these bugs were worked out.

Well that only took 8 months to fix! How the hell it was ever left out I'll never know....

just bought a 2nd hand moto 360 sport and just in time for AW 2.0 to arrive. i had previously used a 1st gen moto 360 with AW1.5, but it has since died. gotta say, the AW 2.0 is looking solid, i enjoyed it very much, its more fluid, more easy to navigate.. but i think im missing something. i can't find the setting to vibrate or notify when my phone or watch is out of range of each other

amazfit app strange behaviours

Hi guys,
I've recently bought an amazfit gts and I like it!
Unfortunately when I try to track a fitness session (free excercice, but is the same for other kind of tracking) my amazfit app doesn't track my heartrate well.
Actually it track only a part of the workout and it is really frustrating!
I.e.: if I do a 50 minutes workout when I check my zones on the app I found someting like: 2 minutes light, 7 minutes intermediate, 15 minutes aerobic, 7 minutes anaerobic...
so I lost 20 minutes of statistics! :|
At beginning the watch too was traking bad my heart rate zones; but now it seems to be consistent with the full workout time. (but I don't know if it's completely reliable)
The strange thing is that using a 3rd party app (notify and fitness) I found all the statistics and I don't feel any issue.
I found a strange statistic for sleep too... it seems like the app doesn't consider the not sleep time (yellow in the app) and my statistics are allways lower than real
here too notify and fitness do a better job.
Some other has same problems? it could be that my watch is not working propertly?
Just last question about gym based exercices... I see my heart rate is not so high, but I can't understand if it's correct or not (my upper rate is around 165...).
Some one else use this watch for HIIT or gym based exercices?
thanks in advance for answers!
Update Amazfit app to latest version (3.4.7 as of now), and factory reset watch. Use the watch about 2 fingers from the wrist bone and as tight as possible without making it uncomfortable.

Thank you very much for your answer!
Actually I've done a factory reset of watch a couple of time, and upgraded it to the last official firmware version.
About the app, I have the last version available 3.4.6-play for my device (Google Pixel 3a XL with Android 10).
Do you know for sure that these issues affect the 3.4.6 version and the 3.4.7 will fix them?
Thank you.
3.4.7 fixes a lot of syncing issues, as well as HR problems in GTS/GTR. Update and try it to see if it helps...

Ok... do you even know when amazfit will release the 3.4.7 version of the app? (on android 10 the last is 3.4.6-play and it has been released on November the 22th).

Latest FW 4.2.6 Stratos 3 bugged

Hi,
i wanted to share my experience with latest Amazfit FW for stratos 3: it seems very buggy
- after the initial update i was able to activate the Stress widget even if i do not see the app in the launcher. (i was able to see also some other CN widget in the amazfit app but they were not shawn on the watch).
- i decided to factory reset the watch (i do it after each new FW)
-After that the stress widget is no more avalaible... even in the amazfit app and i noticed other bug
- the weather app is no more updating the weather.
-i have some deconnexion with the phone (which was not the case in 4.2.5)
is it possible to rollback to 4.2.5 on official FW? (without unlocking bootloader)
i hope fix will come soon.
do you have same pbs?
Hi,
it seems i found a solution for the weather: following some tips from other devices i tried to set the location instead of autolocalisation and guess what? it's working!
the weather never stops syncing and it seems that i have no more connection break ...
perhaps there's a bug with sending location to watch in autolocalisation mode?
FYI i'm in french language.
After last FW update I have issue as well =(
After the last firmware update to 4.2.6.0, my Stratos 3 stopped syncing exercise logs to the mobile app. And it looks that watches spend more battery doing the same as previously.
When I scroll down on the main page at the Amazfit app. There are two sync loading, the first done with 100% but the second stopped on 10% always!!!
When I´m trying manual sync on Stratos, I always got the message: "Couldn´t verify access token. Update your Amazfit app and try again."
But the app is up to date so I tried to reboot watches and phone, unpair, and pair watches to phone again, but nothing works..
Do you everyone the same problem or it happened only to me?!
Has someone some solution for me, please?
As winni21 asked, can I rollback to previously firmware.. In the past, it works "more or less"

I'm experiencing the same thing. It's not just limited to Cycling only but in fact it affects every outdoor workout e.g Running, Hiking, Trailing etc.
so i decided to rollback to 4.2.5 FW wich was much more reliable... Everything is ok now.
My update.
I did not find the answer on how to roll back FW in an easy way. So I tried factory restart and it works for me (for now).
I do not have problems with sync anymore. I think I do not have a problem with the weather (but I can not say more because I do not use weather on watches often)
After I did the factory restart, I lost my activities on the watch.
Is there any way to sync activities to the watches?

Same problem. Purchased my Sratos 3 one week ago and is a disaster. Watch is unusable. Thinking of returning it under warranty.
Or should I wait for new firmware?
Touchscreen stopped working recently (after installing amazmod). Factory reset did not change anything. Any ideas?

It is a good watch indeed. I was using Amazfit Pace for 2 years and changed to Stratos 3 a few months ago.
It is a very good sport watch. Best in price I think.
I tried Huawei (Good watch, but bad company policy. No sharing with other apps like Strava & Co) and Garmin (really bad software on watch and in web).
Amazfit sometimes has problems with their servers, so that the sync from App to web (and Strava & Co) is not working. But this was 1 or 2 times in the past 6 months and in my experience Garmin or Polar are not better in this task.
The real problems with Stratos 3 started with firmware 4.2.6.0. Normally Amazfit does a good job with releasing their firmware very fast. So I would wait until the next firmware and give it a try.
Normally best way for you would be to unlock your Bootloader (very easy) and make a rollback to 4.2.5.0 and later to custom ROM from Saratoga. But with this step you would loose your warranty and if you are not sure if you want to keep the watch, this is probably a bad idea.
I would wait 1 or 2 weeks for new firmware and hope it helps, otherwise send it back to be sire. But don't go to Huawei or Garmin.

I would have to disagree. My experience with amazfit has been terrible so far. Number of things that did not or do not work properly is too high. Sync did not work for months, activities measurement is inaccurate, battery life is significantly lower than they advertise, official support is non-existent - never got reply to my queries. Now, touch has stopped responding.
Could you elaborate why do you think that Amazfit is better than Garmin? The only advantage that I can see is the price difference - but this approach is shortsighted. I would prefer to pay 3x as much but have a watch (Garmin) that will last 3x longer, with way better functionality, support and overall experience.

I think experiences can be different. I never had this terrible problems with my Amazfit watches like you describe.
I'm a Triathlete and coming from road biking. I used a lot of Garmin Egdes from 605 to 500 to 1030. Because back then Garmin was best in class. Therefore I tried their watches, starting from Vivoactive to forerunner.
In the last few years I recognized that the software (on devices and web) did not make any progress. Very bad UIs (in my opinion) and handling and battery time was not as good as I experience it now with the Stratos 3.
Only when I use an external heart rate monitor, I wish the battery would last longer :/ Without external HR my Stratos 3 keeps working for ~30 hours (GPS-Tracking, internal HR and recording) - with external HR this time goes down to ~5 hours :/ I think because the Stratos 3 has bluetooth, but not Ant+.
To garmin as bike Computer: In my team most bikers switched from Garmin to wahoo in the last year, because most of them had trouble with crashing devices on long rides and problems with handling. After I saw the wahoos working I followed now with a Wahoo Elemnt Roam. WHAT a difference and what hughe progress in Software, Display, UI and Handling.
The roam is the device I ever wanted.
And as a developer I have projects in using APIs of POLAR, STRAVA, Garmin, Komoot and so on ...
And the Garmin API is a mess!! Comparing to Strava or Polar I feel ported 8-10 years back.
After Polar released their new watch (can't remember the name right now) I see absolutely no reason to buy a Garmin device.
But everybody should make his own experiences.
The guy asked for experiences with the Stratos 3 and I told mine. Feel free to tell yours.
Because I change my devices every 2-3 years I'm not willing to pay 3 times more for comparable features. But as a developer perhaps I have a differnt view on things like firmware bugs and so on.
Edit: And for me it is important to have an ongoing software support. There IS a reason why it's usefull to update the firmware of a device frequently. The Forerunner 735XT for example got its last update on October 2018. In my opinion it is not good enough or "finished" so that there is no need to make things better. With Amazfit I have the possibility to use custom roms when there is a motivated developer or a community that ca make some things better than the manufacturer (thanks saratoga for Amazfit). I can not complain about update cycles from Amazfit or Xiaomi (since 4 years my wife and me are using smartphones from xiaomi) and additionally I can use custom roms. But of course this is tricky sometimes and perhaps you wouldn't get expected results at the first time. Than better go with POLAR or Corus or Suunto and so on.
hi, i also have a problem with this update. they worked normally before the watch was update, but since then i have a problem measuring my heart rate. my rate not go up over 100 beats per minute, but in real i must have min. 160. but if watches have good day too a work normal. does anyone have the some problem too? maybe it is my fault? Do i have a badly tightened strap??
Hi ! Is there a new 4.2.6 version available without all bugs seen in this thread ?
