Does anyone know how to activate Pocket Mode on this device? If there is no way to activate a pocket mode at the moment, what do you recommend as an alternate method?
I have fingerprint activated but it will go into dialing emergency while in my pocket. Since the fingerprint reader is under the screen, it will also disable the reader due to many attempts failed.

There is no pocket mode, same with the previous Xiaomi android one phones. Xiaomi seems to think that stock android means not giving even some bare minimum functions like pocket mode.
No pocket mode like a Oneplus phones. Does any of the MI phones have pocket mode.
While i call my phone screen will be black colour after cut the call it will taking a time to get normal.

Hi i have note 3 and i broke the lcd.when i power on ghe phone i hear the samsung sound in the beginning and the led turns blue and after 5 sec the soft keys stay always on.my pc can recognise the phone but because i have pin code i cannt see my files.also i can put the phone into download or recovery mode and be recognised.by.odin but when i try to call my number the phone do not ring and i think that this shouldnt happen.is there any way to check.if the.phone is functional except.from.the lcd.in order to buy a replacement screen?the phone is rooted.also it makes a small vibrate every 10 seconds.is there anyone that can help me thanks!!!

If you have android debug mode in you can try to connect to a pc and run a few adb commands and see if the device connects.
Here's the case.
The 6S Edge with no Samsung or Google account set up.
One day the FP just stopped recognizing the finger, so I am officially locked out.
Photo content on device is precious and has to be rescued, pulled out.
Need a solution to carry this out without tripping the KNOX and if possible saving stock ROM.
How can I do that with minimum fancy?
The device is european, without carrier lock.

When you set up your fingerprint you had to setup pin code. Use that to access your phone.
I found this video that will be helpful to you. FTM mode on our phone is called Download mode. Power-Home-Volume Down to get in to it then Volume up.

Hi, today i dropped my phone and now the screens just black! The phone seems to be working in the background and I can even connect with smart switch. The problem I have is when connecting to smart switch I can't back it up as my phone is password locked and smart switch keeps prompting to unlock the password on phone without an option to unlock using the applications interface.
Is there anyway I can unlock the phone. I want to back it up before sending off for a fix (insurance claim).
I would really appreciate a solution.

I bought an LG G5 second hand a couple of days ago. Everything works absolutely perfect until I use the gallery or camera app. They seem to function normally, however randomly the touch screen will just stop working in the respective app. It "unsticks" if I lock and unlock the phone, but only temporarily - while the touchscreen is frozen I can still rotate the screen, change volume using the buttons, even take a photo with the vilume key. In the gallery it occurs when scrolling through photos; especially if they are larger more complex images. I've tried other camera apps, other galleries, a phone reset/restore, safe mode, a cache clear, no sd card, no sim - everything!!!!
The phone is on Nougat 7.0 and is unlocked.
Wondering if a OS flash might fix this or if it seems like a hardware issue?
Like I said, every other function of the phone is fine - can watch HD videos, scroll the internet no problem!?
Any help is much, much appreciated!!! Really can't afford an expensive repair or replacement ):

You could try LGup or could ship it to LG. You should be covered under 1year warranty still.
Hello,
when I put on the dual screen cover, and try to phone via Whatsapp or FB messenger, without visio just audio, the problem is that, as I'm closing the dual screen cover to put the phone to my ear, at one point the phone goes in sleeping mode and the call stops. This does not happen with the regular cellphone calls.
Is there a solution for that apart from taking the phone out of the dual screen cover? A settings in thos apps to avoid the sleeping mode?
