Hi Guys,
Sharing with you how to activate the classic theme from WW Rom on the CN Firmware.
Please note this requires Root.
Download this File to your ROG II.
This is aa ZIP file, DO NOT unpack or mod it. Just download it and keep as is.
Copy the above zip file to the below location using a root explorer / root file manager.

Then set the correct permissions to the file as shown in the last attached image.
Restart your device and check in themes.
Just delete file hidden and reboot

No, As long as the Asus launcher exists in system, it will always take priority over any other launcher installed.
what are the other themes that you have on there?
I only have the light and dark one. It looks like you have 6

Remove that "hidden" file in that folder and if you put the classic theme in it, you will have 6.
None of this worked for me. I am on tencent 12gb with WW and cannot access any of the themes. Any advice?

i cant delete hidden file i tried about 100 times
You need to use root explorer and mount r/o then you can delete it. Not sure why just having regular root sync won't. But in that app specifically it works.

I just enable it by downloading google wallpapers and I find all rog themes included in the app , without root ? .

Wallpapers by google on playstore the icon is blue mountain > then you will find live wallpaper.
I tried it all 5 is working will 3 not working you see it but not loaded I don’t know why!? Check it I am sure you will find a way to make it work.

Use esfile explorer. Swipe from lest and click on root explorer on/off option. 6 option will popup, select "mount r/w " option and tick r/w. Done. Now you can delet it.

Well, not sure entirely what device you have, but typically the Contact related apps are held in the /system/app partition and when reinstalling, you can't just sideload the apk like you can for a Play Store app. You must have root access and move the apk files to the /system/app partition either with a file manager with root access and change the permissions (very important or they won't work or open!) or flashing through a custom recovery. If that fails and you don't have the option to just reflash the rom then just get other Contact apps via the Play Store like Go Contacts & Dialer, ExDialer, etc.
Hi, thanks for answering my device is is like a Mi3 (xiaomi) but internally is not like the original, carries a mt6589, I have root access, what I do is copy in system / app those contacts.apk and contactsprovider . apk I grant permissions to install and run, but after that did not start. I put ex dialer and it works but does not allow me to save contacts.I can not find a rom for this device.

permissions which I speak is of these, but more than not I put the application is running, I have tried many different contacts.apk and contactsproviders.apk rom, is there any place where I can get more information about the version to know exactly which can be compatible with my version

rom version you think is the most compatible and contactsprovider.apk contacts.apk to extract? is a miui version.
Hmm. Well, I found this: http://rom.xiaomi.cn/list-169-1-7-11-1-2 that has a download link corresponding to the JXCDNAL 2.0 build that is listed in the screenshot. Could be worth looking into.

I've tried these roms a few days ago and nothing has worked for me, it is a business.
* there is no application that I keep missing contacts.apk contacts and contactsprovider.apk?
also download this http://www.needrom.com/mobile/fake-mi3-mt6582/ but when unzip, system is not a folder is a. img and not as open
-Download this ZIP and extract it, put the folder to SD card.
-Install ES File Explorer from google play.
-Open the ES File Explorer, press Menu Key and Choose "Tools", and then Click on "Root Explorer" (not on the button "ON")
-Allow Root Access and Choose "Mount R/W" and choose every partitions as "RW".
-Long press on the apps you have extracted and choose both apps and choose "Copy" button below.
-Tap the right side box at the upper bar of the ES File Explorer.
-Choose "/ Device", tap "system" folder, then tap the "app" folder and "Paste" the two apps (Contacts.apk and Contact Provider.apk) you have extracted from the zip on this "app" folder.
-Reboot.
These apps are from MT6589 device running on MIUI v5.
This may solve your problem.

Installing this gallery will also install camera.

I want to obtain copy of default themes available in the EMUI 9. If you guys know any way to extract it from phone can you guide me ? If not anyone have copy of all those themes (.hwt) by any chance please post it here. Thanks in advance

Yes i'm using solid explorer and know i can browse the root folder using it but the problem is i have no idea where the .hwt file reside in that area. The search feature show up only some font related .hwt files. I think i have to go deeper to find those files by using rooting which i'm not willing to at this moment anyway thanks for the help guys :highfive:

No worries. Someone else on here should have root. If they find where those files are you can pull them with adb regardless if you have root or not

You have to be rooted with magisk and use a magisk module.

The phone is rooted already, but I couldn't find the font changer module anywhere.

Put the fonts you want in the CFI folder in this zip and flash in magisk app.
Try this script. It makes system, vendor and product partitions read write on Android 10 and newer.

Alternatively, is there a way to download a theme from Samsung's website (to my PC as a file)???
