So many good things. Quite a few bad. Loving the look and feel, disliking newly created contacts going missing, lack of a pattern/thumbprint unlock, battery life is, at best, ok.
Have had this phone for a few days coming from s10+. So far I love this phone. Size is perfect. Battery gets me through a full day for my usage. Camera is amazing and the 90hz display is incredible.
I like the industrial design the mat finish and the white and black colours are striking. Not a fan of the glitches caused by gesture navigations in some apps. And that battery is very disappointing. I have to top it up at least once a day. Not sure it's good for the battery in the long run. Tbh I don't notice the 90hz had the OnePlus 7pro for a minute and went back to the s10+ I really can't tell the difference between 60 and 90hz.???

Pros:
-Display and flashing is gone from the Pixel 3
-Buzzing earpiece is finally gone and sound is clear
Cons:
-No fingerprint reader. Face unlock is a hit or miss
-under speakers, instead of front facing
-phone is slightly larger and heavier than pixel 3
.......overall i am glad I got the phone. The pixel 3 was the worst phone I own. The display failed on the original one i had after 5 months, the new and old display kept flashing, there was a perpetual earpiece buzzing that was from likely hardware quality. The pixel 4 is an improvement. I think the best pixel was 2. The front facing speakers, display was fine for me, and size/weight.
Glad to have the pixel 3 gone. That was a total lemon.
I noticed the camera switches back to the wide lense if the subject is too close and can't focus, even when using 2x+ and uses super res zoom instead.

The Nexus 6P is my first nexus device after using HTC and Samsung as my main Android devices. I've also had most iPhone models so I'll be using my experience from both sides of the camp to make my comparison. I am writing this in the hopes that someone will be able to get a better idea of the device from a user’s perspective and see if it is the right device for them, as well as the issues that they could potentially face and decide if it’s worth replacing their device.
HARDWARE
The first experience was a bit annoying as I needed to RMA the first device due to the plastic piece on the back having a rather annoying hump on the left side. Google support for Canada was great. 2 days is all it took to get my new device. Sadly that one too had the same issue but it was far less prominent so I decided it didn’t bother me enough for a second exchange and I kept it. I also don't know if one speaker is louder or not, some videos make it sound that way while others don't. Music seems fine on it so I assume it's OK. They sound fine regardless but I know that's an issue. Neither one had any extreme issues with sound from my experience thus far. The volume with headphones on was exceptionally loud. I usually don't need to keep it super low but on this phone I did, super happy about that, same with calls over an earpiece, very loud and clear. Likewise with using the phones speaker. No issues at all.
Both of them were perfect hardware wise aside the hump. No scratches or issues with bends. The first phone however felt hollow on the back. The second one felt fuller, sturdier. If I tap the back it felt heftier vs a more empty feeling. Not sure if I'm the only one who noticed something like this, sound off in the comments. For my sized hands it feels great. The phone is a bit big but still manageable in a case (Ringke fusion). My only real issue with the hardware, more specifically the internal hardware, was the vibration. It is very weak, especially when compared to my Samsung s6/edge and iPhone 6. I've missed phone calls while on vibrate and in my pocket because I just don't feel it while I'm walking. If anyone else has similar experiences I’d like to hear your input on this.
DISPLAY
The display is where things got interesting. The first phone I got was immediately put into sRGB mode because one thing I love about iPhone is the attention to color accuracy. While not perfect has been better than all other phones I've had, even the Samsung Galaxy s6 and s6 edge. (To my eyes of course)
The Nexus 6P was to my surprise really good. While some colors were maybe a bit washed out looking when compared to my IPS monitors at home, it did a great job. The whites have been really good, and the blacks of course are perfect thanks to the amoled panel. Tilting the display down showed a greenish hue while tilting up showed a pinkish hue. Looking at it dead on I don't really notice the color shift but it was present on both models. Everything on the display is super crisp. Images, especially colorful ones are a joy to view. Everything pops and looks outstanding. I don't watch a lot of video but that was a real treat as well. Even compared to the S6, the larger display really helps in that regard.
Once the replacement arrived though I immediately noticed the difference in calibration. The new phone, which I'm keeping, had noticeably better and deeper colors on sRGB mode. The first and most noticeable was the notification menu. It was darker grey. I immediately started comparing side by side and noticed that the new phone made the old one look washed out. The colors were more accurate on the replacement and that to me was a huge win. It might be what made me not care for the smaller but still noticeable hump on the plastic. The whites on the second phone have been a bit odd as the pinkish tone is sometimes more noticeable on tilting but again, minor issue for me. On max brightness both had near perfect whites, and colors as gorgeous as ever. At around 50%, which is what my phone is always on (auto brightness turned off), the whites while still good, are toned down. It's as if a small hint of silver was added to the whites. Again, still white but you can notice the difference from the brightness levels. Lower brightness was OK, colors aren't special but then again they aren't meant to be at the level. Good for reading at night though! The rest of the colors manage to retain their consistency despite the drop. Kudos to Google and Huawei for doing a great job on the colors, I'm very happy with the results over all.
SOFTWARE
Software so far has been awesome. Only thing to crash so far was Facebook... Because it's Facebook. Everything is insanely fast. Even compared to Samsung and iPhone. Every time I think I opened too many apps or I need to reopen an app worrying it might lag, it doesn't. And it's left exactly where it was, it doesn't reload or even stutter. The experience has been such a joy. It's my first Android device to be this smooth and reliable. I still obsessively close apps but, I do it less often now. For those wondering I use nova launcher, so I can't really comment on Google launcher but I'm sure it's fine. I wish Google would have kept the dark theme but that's just me being picky and somewhat spoiled by the themes option on the new Samsung phones. I also don't root or bother with roms anymore (last one being the HTC One M7 to turn it into the Google edition).
So far I'm very satisfied with the software and lack of bloat ware. Looking forward to timely updates as well, unlike some other Android manufacturers out there....
The finger print sensor is easily the best one I've ever used. The fact that I don't need to turn the phone on to use it and get access to my home screen is just fantastic. It feels so natural for me as well since my finger naturally goes to that spot. It's fast, insanely accurate and convenient. When I get low on battery (and that's coming up, don’t worry) battery saver mode is great. It makes standby that much better and I can have enough juice for emergency phone calls or gps if needed.
CAMERA
The rear camera has been great although different on my two phones. The second phone being better. The first phone I noticed had issues doing macro shots and focusing properly when you try to get too close to an object. However on 8mp instead of the 12, it focused way better on macro and caught better details because of it. The second phone had no such issues and performed as I expected. Marcos were great on either resolution and had great colors and detail. Just an odd issue to have and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. I have not tried video so I can't comment but from what others have posted it seems really good, minus the lack of OIS.
I haven't taken many selfies but the front camera looks great, tons of detail, lots of visible imperfections to look your ugliest, highly recommend
BATTERY
Battery life has been the biggest surprise.
Having an iPhone 6 which has been the only phone to get me through a day with battery to spare, I have always been skeptical of Android and its poor battery life for my usage. To clarify, I use it for mainly texting, Facebook and it's messenger, phone calls, music, web browsing and maybe a video or two. WiFi is always left on regardless if I'm home or not, and Bluetooth is always off with location settings set on high. My brightness (which almost no one seems to point out) is always at 50%, auto turned off. Very rarely at night when I'm already at home will I turn it down but again, very rarely.
With most Android phones, my SOT has been 3-3.5hrs. Maybe 10-12hrs of standby. Pretty awful. With iPhone, I get 14-15hrs of standby on the same usage type. Now, iPhone displays usage differently from Android and on iOS I get about 8-10hrs of usage. Whatever that actually means. All I know is it got me through the day with life to spare. I'm extremely happy to say that the Nexus 6P is the first Android phone (since the note 2) to get me through a full day and have reserves left in the tank. My first full day, I got 4.5hrs of SOT with 15.5hrs of standby, 2hrs of phone calls and about 2 hours of music. Battery saver was on at 15%.
Overall I couldn't be happier with this phone, it has excellent battery life for my usage, it feels and looks great. The minor issues I had can be easily overlooked by someone less ocd than myself so it's a phone I highly recommend to anyone. Now if only we had more variety with accessories...

Hoping to hear more about the vibration strength. I have a oneplus one, and I absolutely hate the vibrator inside it. The vibration is so weak and makes the phone feel cheap compared to my M7.

Sound quality and loudness in headphones is the only thing that's worries me about both 5x and 6P. Because I'll try them out before root I can't just install V4A the first thing I do. Except for loud sound, what do you think of loudness if you compare to the iPhone (using loudness eq)?

Sadly I no longer have the iPhone 6 as I sold it to get this phone. I'll see if I can get a picture with some help from friends regarding that.
@chrisexv6: I have Bose On-Ear, Monster DNA, Apple earpods, and I HAD Skullcandy 50/50. The Bose are still my favorite and at least for me, they are pretty loud. This being pretty subjective I can only go by my experience but I rarely push beyond half way on the volume slider. Phone calls I’ll sometimes push it up due to the environment around me but even that I find I have to turn it down because it gets too loud for my ears
@dondavis007: I have not had a chance to play with the eq so I can’t comment but in general it is definitely louder than my iPhone 6 was. I have a much easier time hearing this thing from across the room.
@Dbj.Dhaval: On my 2 units I have not seen any yellow tint thankfully. I don’t know how common that would be but hopefully it’s only in small portions.
@aygul12345: GPS has been perfect for me. I have not had any issues inside maps or the Transit app that I use daily. I’ll be sure to mention if that changes however everything is solid so far.

I noticed quite a difference with sound loudness when using Music Volume Equalizer BUT I do not know if it is the app or the phone itself, with my wired earbuds I get NO equalization difference no matter which option I choose. I say wired because with Blue Tooth it is fine. I may post another thread with this wired question.

I have added a photo comparing the brightness on the iPhone 6S and the Nexus 6P, hopefully this will also give an idea as to the colour reproduction on both. Nexus 6P is set to sRGB mode in this photo.
Both phones are at 100% brightness. From in person, the iPhone did look a bit brighter but not by too much. hope this helps!

Thanks, Not much of the difference on sRGB Mode. I think its more visible on the white, because of little warm color production on Nexus 6P.

I've had every pixel since launch and, whilst the phones have been underwhelming, I absolutely love the point and shoot camera quality so can forgive the sub par hardware features. I hold a good camera above other things like screen res, waterproof, size, etc etc.
The pixel 4 is the first time I've seen a Pixel and thought meh. Yes the camera(s) are upgrade this time, but not quite enough. I would still take a Pixel4 but the reduction is battery is seriously bugging me, as my 3 is a bit limp in the battery department. But most of all I can't stomach the Google Photo back up offer no longer running. This was a prime selling point, as I'm sure any with kids knows, you take a lot of snaps! Having free orignal quality backups was really nice.
All this is leading me to jump ship and not get a Pixel 4. But what is there? Huawei have seriously good cameras, I had P20 pro for 2 weeks, but their UI is more than terrible and booloader unlock + ROM support is next to non existent. Samsung insist on the crappy SoC compared to the Snapdragon offering, plus their cameras are good but a step back compared to pixels. Oneplus make everything is awesome phones, but are alway below average in their cameras.
Just not sure really, may stick with the P3 and see what happens in the next 2 years

same, I won't get p4, I love compact phones (so 4xl is not an option) and battery life in small p4 is going to be ridicolous lol. I love my p3, just wish it had more battery life, that was the only downside and they didn't correct it in p4, actually I think they made it worse :crying: why the **** aren't they making the phone 1-2mm thicker but with bigger batteries? really can't understand, I think everyone would prefer a little thicker phone but with better battery life...
also not having original backup is incredible, have a kid here too and need best quality for my millions pictures lol.
really can't get what they are doing... other thing I don't like is the fingerprint gone...
my top priorities for a phone are compact size, great cam quality and battery life.. so considering the alternatives around I think i'll stick with the p3 for some long time lol... also considering I hate as well notches, punch holes and similar and huawei and samsung's horrible UI
Oh my lord I didn't even think about Fingerprint scanner. Just reading a review about it, no scanner and face unlock that is a bit wonky. I'm definitely out then.
Seeing I went from a Nexus 6 to the Pixel 3, I think there is a Pixel 7 in my future. They should have messed up then fixed things a couple of times by then.
I've seen lots of complaints regarding the Pixel 6 Pro and while I was considering upgrading, I'm now not sure on what to do.
I honestly don't know. Mine is coming today. Personally I decided to go with the smaller pixel 6. I usually don't get a phone on launch day i like to wait for at least 6 months because every phone that has ever been made has problems. But in this case i figured the 6 couldn't be much worse than the pixel 5 which is what i have now so i got it. If the tensor chip proves to be all its claiming and the phone is really as good as it looks then i will get the pro and give the base model to my wife.

I had an Experia 5ii, great little device with a sometimes awesome camera but as time's gone on the proximity sensor doesn't seem to work well and it drops a lot of calls. So as a phone, a bit pants!
What I've noticed so far with the P6.
Display is lovely, going from 120hz to to 90hz wasn't a big deal, it's still smooth. Brightness and colours are the best I've had on a device.
Using it as a phone seems to work well, and in the car it maintains reception.
Haptics are really nice and clicky
Camera is good so far, especially in lower light which in the UK is important!
Batery is good, about 36 hours in normal use.
Fingerprint sensor is OK, it's not great and takes time to register but it's fine.
It is quite heavy.
In use, it's snappy and smooth. I don't game on the phone but for everything else it's quick.
The only real irritating things I can find is the slightly slow FP reader and I can't seem to get rid of the new small at-a-glance on the home screen, I want the old one back!

I had a Xiaomi mi9t Pro with an in display reader and from what I can remember it's about the same.
The permanent (as far as I can tell) at a glance is in the top left corner so you have to stretch your thumb all the way across the screen vs the older widget which you can place anywhere.

I've never used a pixel before but apparently at a glance is one of the main features, let's hope they change this soon and okay at least the fingerprint sensor is not worse than others.

We maybe talking at cross purposes... I've attached a couple of screenshots.
I much prefer the at a glance widget which has been available for a few years with the Google Assistant vs the fixed new one in the top left corner.
This is my first pixel, I've had pho es running Pixel Experience before but no Pixel up until now appealed to me, there was always a compromise too far whereas this seems to tick all the boxes, an SD card reader would have been nice though.

Looking at the specs of the regular a71 vs the Pixel 6 (https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11037&idPhone2=9995), it looks like the Pixel 6 has a smaller screen, but better gorilla glass, much faster CPU/GPU, about the same camera's (maybe a little worse on the Pixel 6, but don't forget Google has a lot of software tweaks to their photos that will help boost the quality above the a71), faster USB, WiFi 6 support and 5G support if you don't have the a71 5g version. The a71 does have a MicroSD slot which the Pixel 6 doesn't have if that's an important feature to you. Oh and the Pixel 6 is IP68 rated, but the a71 doesn't show any IP rating.
Basically the Pixel 6 is a smaller screen, faster phone (CPU, GPU, 5G and WiFi) with equivalent camera quality, but doesn't allow you to expand the storage. So it would be an upgrade, but not a MAJOR upgrade as the a71 is still a very good phone by 2021 standards.
I upgraded from a P3a XL to the P6. I simply will not spend $800-$1200 on a phone that is going to be obsolete in a couple of years. That's why I've stayed with the "A" series Pixels until now. The P6 was a bit of a budget stretch, but the phone is so much better than the "A" series phones that it was worth the extra $100-150 to me.
For me personally, the P6 Pro doesn't offer enough benefits to justify the $300 price difference - that's a 50% increase in price over the P6. Obviously everything in the Pro is slightly better than the P6, but I didn't feel that everything was 50% better.
That being said, the P6 is a great phone and I am very happy with it so far. Of course I've only had it for about 24 hours now. The in-screen fingerprint reader has worked fine for me. It is a "touch and hold" motion (need to hold for almost a second before it unlocks), but I've had probably 90% success with my first touch. It's not as fast or as reliable has the rear reader on the P3 XL, but I actually like the front placement better than the rear. I didn't think I was going to say that, but being able to unlocked the phone while it is sitting on a table without picking it up is really nice. The front reader is also placed in the perfect spot to read your thumb when you do pick it up too.
It's been raining here, so I haven't really tried out the cameras, but I believe they are as good as the former Pixels. Not better yet, but as good. I honestly expect the camera performance to get better as Google continues to tweak the software for the new sensor and lenses. The old sensor was tweaked for years and years to get it to the current quality level. If Google can start at that level with the new sensor, I am quite happy.
Just got my pixel6, coming from a year on a redmagic flagship. Pixel feels like a downgrade.

Second this. I'm coming from a mi9t Pro and the fingerprint scanner on the Pixel 6 seems to be the same.
Coming from a 3a, my biggest reservation is the size. There are places where my 3a fits well -- certain pockets, in my car when plugged in, while cycling., etc. -- and the added size of the 6 might just be too much. I might have opted for the 5a, but the way they soft-pedaled and restricted the release makes me afraid it will be somewhat of an orphan product. Decisions, decisions...

I have decided to try out pixel phones for the first time, even since nexus one I always wanted a Google phone especially with Nexus or pixel 5 those were right up my alley, but I never got in to it untill now. I keep on reading how good the camera is, how amazing everything is so I decided to give it a go. A little background, I love switching phones constantly, I have been using all sorts of phones, from LG, htc, iphone, a lot of samsungs, OnePlus, Huawei etc. My last phone was a Samsung note 20 ultra and I loved it, but that exynos battery and that curved screen just ... Awful. Anyhow ... I got a pixel 6 (not the pro, because I had enough of curved screens, horrible idea, and I am fed up with it) and so far so good. Here are my thoughts:
The good:
The camera looks baller, I am still experimenting with it, but so far so good I am impressed. I don't really do a lot of videos, so my main focus is the main camera and since I only care about ultra wide that too, I don't really care about telephoto.
build quality is good
the sound is good
the display is great(having in mind I am coming off a note 20 ultra, that is saying a lot)
the software is AMAZING Soo smooth it's great(although I do not use most of the things like assistant etc I love the whole package).
The bad or "meh":
the camera again ... I was comparing it with my note 20 ultra, and so far a years old phone that was not really in the competition was making on par photos if not better in some cases(I have to do more personal research here), and I compared it to a Huawei p40 pro with my friend ... (Again more than a year old phone) and I am astonished that that phone did some photos better and some were on par. We were comparing the main sensor only in normal light and at night. So this is some food for thoughts. -The build quality is good but this is the slipiest phone I have ever had in my life. And I am coming off of a note 20 ultra!!! This phone can't even stand on your lap without slipping away or in your pocket in the car. You MUST buy a skin or a case. This is a major no no for me as when I buy a phone for this kind of money I expect to be able to look at it and feel it, and not feel the case.
the software is amazing but very VERY restrictive and lacking in terms of raw baked in features compared to any other major brand. For example, you can't really customize your screen ... You have two big elements (search and at a glance) that can't be removed so they are taking 1/4 of your screen for no reason, this reminds me of Bixby on Samsung ...), Second Samsung phones have much much more information under battery info, for some reason here you have less... And similar stuff. -the battery (this might get better with time ... But I ain't holding my breath as underneath this chip there is Samsung) ... Right now I have 3.7h SOT with most of the time on 100% brightness last 20% I put adaptive with 60 Hz and my phone is on 18% now. 5his is my book is not good... Samsung exynos NOT GOOD.
Overall ... I love the phone so far, and I will be giving it much more needed time and see if I can change any of the bad like battery and camera in time be it if it adapts and if software updates change things. But whoever is looking at this phone and is on the fences bottom line is this is a good phone, and it's worth it in my book
So I am looking for a new phone to replace my 3 yo Xiaomi mi 8, and the Pixel 6 series has captured my attention design wise and software wise.
I was originally going to purchase the pixel 6a, but after trying it in a store, it felt a bit too small for my uses. Also i saw some reviews where its performance was not as good as the Pixel 6 although it has the same SoC, which is quite a big deal for me as I do some gaming like genshin impact
So I may want to settle for the Pixel 6 now (better screen and performance for my usage), but I need some advice from the community here, as I found out there was a lot of bugs at launch
How is the phone right now ? Does it still have issues ? If so, what issues ? Would you recommend it right now ? If not, what are other options in the same price range (649€ in my country)? I'm looking for a phone with good build quality that would last 4-5 years.
Lastly, does it overheat ? How is the battery life ?

It doesn't overheat in my experience.
As everything has some pros and cons, I can say that pros of Pixel 6 outweigh the fewer cons it has.
Overheating, well I haven't faced the phone shutting down or apps stops working due to overheat, but the the phone get uncomfortable to hold for long when it heats up, maybe I am not used to of such warm/hot phones in the past.
4-5 years, look, this is glass sandwitch phone with mammoth size, so probabilities of shattering it apart are much heigher than a small and rigid body phone like Pixel 5.
A perfect Pixel would be a Qualcomm powered Tensor chip customized by Google packed in the body of Pixel 5. But since Pixel 7 series is also following the footstep of Pixel 6, I assume Pixel 6 can be a better buy for now if its available at discounts compared to the 7.
You need to look at the positives, like its got wonderful camera. And those AI powered accurate voice assistance features are just nice when you need them.
Been using Pixel 6 for a month now after retiring my Xiamoi mi9 lite. I'm happy with the phone, no glitches or whatsoever. Photography is a serious upgrade here, now I like to take a lot of shots while with my previous phone I rarely did. It really competes iPhone in this domain.
The phone feels good in the hand, I wish I had the audacity to use it caseless, but I don't., and it's very slippery when naked, and it's a bit bulkier with a case. I got the google silicon case, do not do that, it discolors very quickly.
Coming from a Xiaomi phone, you'll see much less bloatware and bells and whistles. Everything is to the point, you may get bored a bit, but for me I don't miss any of Xiaomi's features to be honest, and I got used to the Pixel pretty quickly. It is a good experience for me. I'm happy with it to the point where I feel I'm sure my next phone in 2-3 years will most likely be a Pixel.
The downside is charging, for some reason Google decided to slow charging down as the battery fills up, so the first 50% take like 30 minutes to charge while the last 50% take almost an hour.
About overheating, it only does so when I'm on a video call for a while, otherwise the phone handles anything you throw at it with ease, I'm not a gamer though so don't take my word for gaming. It may perform well in gaming, but you will fell the need for something that charges quicker as you will drain the battery with games.
I saw the 6a in the store today and tried it a little bit, for some reason it actually feels slower, the display is not as snappy as I'd wish, maybe it's 60hz, but it definitely felt like less, I wouldn't recommend it. I got the Pixel 6 at a nice deal (550€ instead of 650€) so if you have this option go for the the 6 and stay away from the 6a as the latter feels like a compromise..
Hard to say with Android 12 still running on it and that still being buggy. When 13 is complete in a few weeks it'll be easier to answer.
Pixel 6 seems solid to me; I've had mine since January (unrooted, fully stock). I play Angry Birds2 which works ok but frankly isn't as smooth as my OnePlus 6T was. I don't currently have major glitches though I'm about to start a thread on a wifi oddity. The phone is a bit heavier than I would like, and a bit thicker than I would like, but it will last me a couple years I think.
If I had to buy a phone today it would be another Pixel 6. Mine shut down from heat once, I was streaming bluetooth music and had left my phone setting in the direct sun. That is what overheated it, not what it was doing. I went with a dBrand leather skin, which I love for texture and grip, but it provides no real protection. I now have 2 small screen scratches as a result. I'm now in a Pelican case with a rim around the screen whenever I am out doing things. Battery life is fine, I usually have 30%+ left when I go to bed (which is when I charge), but once or twice it has tanked the battery to battery saver mode - I think the last one was right after a monthly update, so probably that is what used all the power.
I do have a 6a on order too, as I had a 3a sitting around and the trade-in make it worth while to upgrade the backup phone to current generation.
I have had a Pixel 6 for about 2 weeks now, and my experience has been excellent.
The good:
Great performance and battery life. I haven't tried gaming yet, but multitasking and general horsepower is excellent. The Recently Played app (a background Shazam native to Google Pixel) runs AI calculations in the background all day recognizing the songs, and my microphone data stays on device. I use my phone throughout the day, listening to Spotify and YouTube at work, and I usually still have 40-50% battery at the end of the day. I have most performance features activated, for reference.
The security features are excellent. I love the tensor chip, as my data stays on device while external data gets pulled from Google servers. I also like the transparency and control I get over my data in general, google-utilized or not. My Gboard builds a model on my device, my adaptive battery learns on the device, and the now playing app pulls from the server to figure out the song that's playing.
I find the camera to be excellent, especially in low light. I wish I had more manual control, but again the tensor/exnyos chip does a great job of figuring out how to optimize the photo. It is not as good as an S22, however. The speakers are great, again not as good as the S22.
I like how streamlined the android experience is. While Samsung builds an app for each feature, pixel android is seamless and features are integrated into the device. I like being able to autofill any password field, and being able to access my google-managed passwords directly from Gboard.
The cell reception is phenomenal. This is also a result of TMobile, but I get 3-4 bars of 5G where I would have 1x on my Verizon LG V30.
The bad:
As noted, some specific features are not as high quality as an S22. The camera, 90hz screen, and speakers are the notable ones. Finding a protective case that keeps the device slim with the giant camera bar on the back can be a challenge. I like the look of it, though.
The fingerprint reader is hilariously slow and a bit inconsistent. My 2016 V30 was faster.
Charging is slow, but this probably improves longevity. There might be a way to enable fast charging, but I haven't found it.
I haven't noticed any bugs or glitches, but I am confident that one of the many updates that google pushes on pixel owners may brick an app or feature. It has been rock steady while I have owned it.
I rate the pixel 6 a 9/10, though this is heavily subjective. I like that the pixels never come with carrier bloat, and that they are secure and have a light version of Android. Samsung Android always feels like it has far too many apps even out of the box.
I have 2 Pixel 6 in the houshhold on T-Mobile, both have been solid reliable phones, especially for their mid-level price. No issues with signal lever on either WiFi or 5G. Full day or more battery life. It runs SLIGHTLY warm, doesn't overheat except on a wireless charger in the car while running maps. Only complaint is the Finger Print reader, which still misses about 25% of the time. That said, I'm not a big gamer so I can't say how well suited this phone is for gaming.

After using the seat Pixel 5, you will hate the 6 for it's giant size. More so since the glass sandwich design of Pixel 6 is prone to break hence hefty cover is mandatory so it feels like like holding a cheap heavy Chinese phone.
Performance wise it is an okay phone, no complaints, but its just okay, nothing special. I wish it atelast had some Qualcomm powerted chipset insteal of Exynos.
Modem on my P6 is horrible. Significantly worse than the Pixel 3 it replaced. If I didn't work from home most of the time, I would have replaced this phone months ago. As it is, I am going to try the P7 when it comes out (testing it heavily during return period) and either keeping that or getting an S22. No more P6 for me after October.
