Not alot of developer support, security patches gets more sophisticated, however we've just got treble so maybe we'll get an official update after pie is all set and ready, ashyx twrp works really well, have you tried that?

Freedom to make threads does not mean you can make threads of the same topic over again. And everyone here has the same answers for your questions. That you already know what everyone knows. And the term "nightly" speaks itself out.Everyone will know when the build drops. As it is official you will find about it in the official cyanogenmod forum, not here in xda and that too when it is released.

Hey, just want to give out a quick warning to everyone coming from stock to AOSP builds starting today
Before downloading a ROM make sure you decrypt your phone if you have it encrypted, as an example let's say the external SD is encrypted and you go from stock to AOSP without decrypting your external SD you will not be able to access those files and will be unusable unless you decrypt on the stock setup you encrypted on or wipe the card completely removing the files
This may be common sense to some but I'm sure not everyone will think twice when they see an AOSP thread

I'm not a dev but in pretty sure the kernel would have to be made for the G3 in the first place, just going and bumping a kernel I'm not sure is what you want to do.
Ok cool I guess me and you and many others will just have to wait until AOSP or CM makes a bump'd version

that is Francisco Franco's work...not just any random dev can make it lol....besides.... @bunchies has done a hell of a job on the kernel built into LS.

Ditto. I know its being added to Lollipop so I assume thats how it gets encrypted in the first place. Id be OK disabling encryption if that is even an option.

Decrypting is only needed if you encrypted your phone in the first place, this is just a reminder to those people

it has a custom bump'd kernel that is very well put together....the OP of the rom itself will have the needed instructions on what you need to do to install it and be good to go

hello guys still do not get anything, I'm also looking for roms or some development for this phone would like a roms cleaner something more to the pure android I have if you want can leave contact to join the owners of this phone to see if we can get some development and we help each other say? :good:
This is a low end, low interest phone (and an oldish one too) so I think the search for a custom ROM is vane.
ROM are developed by people owning that phone. No dev owns one of this, so ther'll be no ROM.
I think the best we can do now is to debloat it in order to lighten the OS and make it work more efficiently.
I will go this path.

and like any thread do it at your own .. the image has been tested many time with positive result and no bricks happend but be careful anyway
