[Q] Problems driver "USB DEBUG" Windows 7 x64

Hi!
First, sorry for my bad english...
I'd just bought a Xperia S. Installing its drievrs in "normal mode" goes ok.
But, when turning the "USB DEBUG" mode, and plugin, and connecting the phone, the message "SEMC HSUSB Device" appears in the device manager with exclamation mark. The phone is not recognized, and if I try to use the drivers for debug (from the Sony web), get the message that no drivers for that controller.
I tried a lot of things, but none goes...
It's impossible to get the device in "adb devices" list
Anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance.
Install PC Companion, it has all the drivers you need.
PC Companion already installed ok (in normal mode, no problems). Only in "USB DEBUG" mode is wrong.
tried restarting phone. hard reset.
Please check you are using correct driver.

There is no driver. PC Companion doesn't detect the phone in "USB DEBUG" mode, and when "SEMC HSUSB Device" appears, no drive is installed (if I try the official Sony drivers for Debug in a folder, the Windows responds that no driver in this location.
I've tried in an old computer (Windows XP SP3) and no driver problem, but the phone doesn't appear when "adb devices".
This is crazy!
PPD: Tested in another Windows XP SP3, and worked!!!! It's a strange driver issue...
Disconnect phone.
Remove all XS Drivers.
Reinstall PCC
Then Connect phone in debug.

Tried unsuccessfully. The same problem...
PD: Another try: I've uninstalled *ALL* Sony software. With "pnputil" I've deleted *ALL* Sony drivers references in the system. Reinstalled PC Companion (last web version 2.10.065), reset, installed phone in "normal" mode. All ok. Reset, put phone in "USB DEBUG" mode. Plugin. PC Companion search for drivers an *ERROR* (as usual): "SEMC HSUSB Device" appears in the device manager with exclamation mark. Tried to update with the Sony web drivers. A message says that already the best drivers.
Run out of ideas to continue.
I think this is problems with your PC.
Try reinstall windows 7 to small partition (20 GB) if really need USB DEBUG MODE

[Q] unable to connect to pc

i try to connect my Samsung fit 5670 mobile using USB cable in my windows 8.1 PC. It keeps on saying "USB not recognized", also installed drivers, lots of time but nothing happened.

USB not detected, nothing on device manager

Hey guys. I have kenzo on the latest stable rom and USB doesnt seem to be working. When I connect to my pc (WINDOWS 10 32-BIT) the phone charges but nothing else happens. There is no option to change to mtp mode on phone AND nothing shows up on my PC and nothing on device manager
How do I fix this because I want to unlock my bootloader in the future and if the PC cant detect my phone then I'm screwed. Thanks so much in advance

Is your problem solved???
Is yes please tell me what you did.

Mi a3 MTP media transfer protocol not connecting with PC

Hi, anyone having the issue, MTP not working in mi a3. I can't connect my phone to my pc via MTP. Tried lots of USB drivers. But only fastboot working, MTP not working.
Have you changed the connection mode? By default the phone only charges when connected to a PC. You must switch to file transfer from the notification every time (or in developer settings to make the change permanent). Correct drivers for MTP are installed automatically by recent Windows versions.
Yes, I've chosen the right settings in my phone. I already used my redmi 3s prime in same pc. All the drivers for redmi 3s installed properly. But mi a3 wont connect. I installed available drivers, it works in fastboot mode. I can instruct my phone via fastboot. But MTP only not working. Is there any USB driver particular for mi a3? In Xiaomi website all the drivers available for devices specifically. But there is no driver for mi a3. I found mi a1 and a2. But not mi a3. Can you help me to find the right driver? I'm in latest windows 10 laptop
MTP works out of the box without device specific drivers.
If you have installed Xiaomi drivers they might block MTP communication.
Have you tried on an other PC without phone drivers? Are you running any Windows security software?
MTP uses generic Windows drivers, you don't have to install them manually. Connect your phone to the PC, unlock the screen, make sure it's set to file transfer and open the device manager on the PC. Do you see any device with an exclamation mark? MTP should be under portable devices section as Mi A3.
Yes I can see mi a3 in the device manager under other devices. It shows the device driver not installed properly. Might be some problem with my windows pc. I'll try troubleshooting my pc. Thanks
This might help https://bit.ly/2OsBgAY
Has anyone found a solution?
I've tried installin Media feature pack, manually installing the MTP driver, updating the driver doesn't work since nothing pops up when I click on Mobile devices.

Same here
For an older A2 Lite cleaning USB socket helps...
Go to windows settings, device manager and delete all your USB devices and let Window ask you for new drivers all over again

My PC doesn't recognize my POCO F1 in FASTBOOT mode.

Hi, I have a problem that my PC doesn't recognize my POCO F1 in FASTBOOT mode.
I'm running Win 10 64bit (Core i7-3517U), my phone is Global stable 11.6.0. bootloader is NOT unlocked and there is no root.
The main problem: When I try to connect my phone in FASTBOOT mode to my PC and go to System Manager it shows an exclamation mark, not a question mark like it would if you just didn't have the drivers. It also says "The device has been stopped (Code 43) (the other error codes are in the attachments given below) A request for the USB device descriptor failed." I guess this means it's not a simple matter of missing drivers, even if my phone is connected normally, it does not show up or connect to the Mi PC Suite. Normally, if you plug in a new device without drivers, Windows at least recognizes whether it's a printer, headset, mouse or whatever and starts looking for appropriate drivers, but not here.*Whenever I put my phone on FASTBOOT mode, it never gets recognised it just shows an exclamation with a dialogue box that says that "The last USB device you connected to the computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognise it" (screenshots provided in the attachments below with normal my phone on normal mode and fastboot mode please go through them)
What I have already tried based on my previous research, but with no success:
different computers, windows and Mac
different usb cords
usb debugging on/off
all usb modes (MTP, file transfer etc.)
usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports
re-installing Mi PC suite
resetting my phone
resetting my Windows 10 pc
and none of the above seem to work.
I also spoke with a friend and tried connecting their phone (Redmi Note 5 Pro) on fastboot mode to my Windows Pc and the Mac and it works!
but my POCO F1 does NOT get recognised.
I live in Pune, Maharashtra in India
and there's a huge lockdown, like there is, all over the world
I can't actually go out and visit a service center and fix this anytime now. i need some serious urgent help on this, I'm willing to do anything to fix this at home. I just need assistance and i need some sort of external guidance. Please, please help me with this matter.

If you still not able to find a way pls follow this video. Thanks
Was it ever resolved ? I had similar issue with my POCO F1. it was working fine in ADB but not getting detected in FASTBOOT. Every time I connected it in fastboot it showed a message USB device not recognized. drivers and all were fine. Code 43 was also there in device manager.
I was able to fix it by using Bugjaeger Premium on my spare Samsung rooted android 10 phone with OTG since my spare phone has micro USB.
POCO F1 was also not getting detected first then I did a factory reset, and MIUI recovery wipe and simply disconnected the cable and rebooted poco f1 using volume down and power button and voila it got detected in my samsung phone then i flashed TWRP.
