[SURNIA-XT1521] How to Root After Marshmallow Update

So today I flashed the official Android 6 (Latest update) from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65428656&postcount=185
It booted successfully and was working fine.
I came back to fastboot mode and flashed TWRP recovery and then flashed SuperSu through TWRP. After that phone got stuck at "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" message and wasn't booting further.
So anybody else can confirm this? or is there any way to root it?
Download the SuperSU system less root zip and flash it do not use TWRP to root

Also after u flash the zip...when u reboot TWRP will ask u if u want to install SuperSU....select do not install

Thanks man, it might solve the issue.
The only way I could do that on official 6.0.1 on XT1524 was to install version 2.62 v3 through TWRP, then it was possible to flash stable 2.65. Root works

You can try debranding it via Honor Multi-tool, to the PLK-L01 and then flash the EU firmware
---------- Post added at 08:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:04 PM ----------
This thread got same EU firmware, boot and recovery, and then are lollipop, but If you get so far you will be able to update to marshmallow but as always on your own risk
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/general/plk-l01-firmwares-updates-official-beta-t3272205
And of course hihonor.uk und3r their support part they have official firmware

You will have to debrand to use other models firmware, so to use EU firmware youll have to debrand to EU model
I've tried a few roms without debranding mine.
MM+kang and Pure Emui roms work fine.
Also DigiGoon kernel works.
Remember to have an official ul00 rom, just in case you need to flash using 3 buttons.
Didnt know custom Roms where appliable to other versions of the phone

OnePlus X TWRP not booting

Hello everyone.
I've got a weird issue with my friend's OnePlus X. I've just unlocked the bootloader and wanted to install TWRP from the Guide on OnePlus forums.
Flashing the recovery works just fine, but when typing "fastboot boot recovery.img" it's giving me an error "FAILED dtb not found"
When trying to manually boot into recovery it's not doing anything, it's stuck on the OnePlus Logo Powered by android screen.
Anyone help please?
Do you have any rom?

Its easy if you dont see a recovery than you dont have one or it isnt flashed right go to the original Website of TWRP and download the latest version for your phone
Then try to flash it again with fastboot
OOS 2.XX you can use original twrp. If your on OOS 3.XX you need to flash updated twrp (blu spark V41,Sultans, Nachets) because bootloader changed.
If u are on oos, mention the exact version.

Follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/help/unable-to-flash-twrp-3-1-4-update-t3499990/page1 & flash the twrp recovery, there is a link in the 3rd post.
If all else fails alternatively you could root with king root and flash recovery with the app Rashr. Never failed me and after you get twrp working you can uninstall king and flash SuperSU.

Seeing people having a hard time with 3.1.4. The solution for all of them is to just flash 3.1.3. This is probably your best bet.

A couple of things have changed with this update, but it's worth I'll say, battery life has increased considerably. Though no xposed support.

Can anyone tell me how can i run Google Apps in my mi5 chaina dev Android 7 based rom. I can't flash gapps. In twrp it's asking device decrypt password. Any other way to flash gapps or some other way?
I've been running CM on my MI5 for quite some time. I'd like to give MIUI8 a try but am wondering:
Will flashing a Xiaomi ROM overwrite my TWRP?
Will I still be able to use TWRP to switch back to CM?
Can I keep root privileges?
Any other potential issues i should be aware of?

Do you have to use the China version? Why don't you try with international version?

My Mi5 fails Google's SafetyNet check after the update. Did you notice this as well? Or can it be caused by some left over data when updating from marshmallow to nougat?
