I recently buy china version of Mi Band 4 and realize everything was in Chinese. China version has only 2 locales, Chinese and English. When your phone is in EN, MI Band is also in EN. But when is your Android in every other language Mi Band change itself to Chinese. I found two ways how you can change language to EN on non-EN Android.
1) Exposed Module
-Install Exposed module "APP Locale" (or AL2, depends on your system version).
-Change Language of Mi Fit app to EN
2) Delete Mi Fit (Usable on non-rooted devices)
-Pair Band with Mi Fit
-Change your system language to EN
-Start Mi Fit app, and check your Band it would be in EN now.
-Remove Mi Fit app from your phone
-Change system language back to your preference
-Use some alternative app
It's pretty trivial guide,if it's unuseful then sorry. But I thing it could save somebody spare time.

If you uninstall Mi Fit, you can force any supported language in N&F app (just don't forget to get the authentication key so N&F will work in standalone mode).

You will have your Mi Band 4 in English, with all Smartphone languages .

I used to translate various tutorials APK files: Settings, SKYSittings, framework-res, etc..
Translation, execution and compilation is done but when I copy my files into the phone after reboot, all application I translated are in English.
I decompile new applications that I have translated to note that these files are translated into French.
I saw on the internet that are personalized Rom for this model available in Chinese, so I guess these were translated Rom.
In summary, I am a newbie and my hair was falling force me scratching my head. I asked for help to the XDA community to translate this Rom and thank you in advance.: Confused:

Can a good soul share a TWRP template that is able to flash/overwrite system files like Settings.apk, MiuiSystemUI... for Mi 9?
I saw that the path for these files is 'system_root/system/priv-app/ApkFolder/ApkFile.apk' but I the TWRP templates I have here don't work.
I'm messing up with this "system_root/system" scheme and it never works.
I'm the Brazilian Portuguese translator of xiaomi.eu and I flash system files to test the translations before xiaomi.eu's weekly releases.
I have a TWRP template that worked when I was using Mi 6X (Mi A2 converted), but this template doesn't work for Mi 9.
