"sorry, did not capture download link"
"no update for reteu, no more Motorla phones!"
"definitely smoother, better camera, will post more later on"
"WEN IN INIDA??????"

A download link would be nice indeed.

I got my moto z2 play from online retailer and its update channel is "retcn". anybody knows if this channel will receive the update as well or not?

Even the experience report would be a thing. That will mean the firmware indeed exists.

retcn this China, very slowly updates

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to change the update channel to something like reteu or even flash a different channel's update to a device with retcn?

My device was oreu and once I flashed retus on it and everything worked, though this might not help you to get faster updates and of course it also means that you have to unlock the bootloader which later might cause OTA updates to fail to install even if you manage to download them.

Cool. Week that's at least a good news as it's possible to do that. What that Pie's image by any chance?

Unfortunately it was not Pie rom, it was Oreo. There is no pie rom except for GSI roms. Hopefully someone who got the recent Pie update in Brasil will post the rom or capture a download link, then we could flash it in a similar way.

Is the rom 64-bit?

Probably stop refreshing. From what I've read, Korea gets it today and there's no info on the rest of the world. We're probably waiting a bit.
LG G6 (Korean) just got an update to Android Oreo today. Has anyone tried to install AR Stickers and AR Core? I tried to install it but it seems doesn't works. Anyone if has a suitable version of Google camera, AR Stickers, AR Core that can works well on G6, please reply. Thanks!
What is the new features? Please screenshoot. Im waiting for the new features

Not too much, maybe it's all about "bug fixes and performance improvement"
http://www.lge.co.kr/lgekor/mobile/notice/oreo01.jsp
beside some update listed there, this update also has hide navi bar feature
Honestly the hide nav bar thing should've been there when the phone was released, with the screen size and all that it only makes sense. What I'm curious of is did lg devise a way to do it without extra battery drain?

Be patient, the question has already been asked several times, it is necessary to wait until the people who had the update had time to perform a few cycles of use..
Okay I have it downloaded on a korean G600S. So far so good. Oreo 8.0 April 1st security patch. The settings menu is very different as expected. Performance is definitely a bit snappier just right off the bat.
Anyone got some news about when it will become avaible on the SEA 870ds version ? Cause my last update its from October...

I guess people shouldn't get too hasty.. The Oreo update is currently for Korea only. And they are getting that today so obviously they will need a day at least to check the performance and other stuff. So just wait. People will reply after testing properly

We do not know, otherwise it would be written, we have to wait, it's written everywhere..

Oreo is here!!! H870

Jusy casually checking my phone and BOOM! Can't wait to finish downloading ?
You are about a week late to the party....
Yet my H870 hasn't got it yet...
H870 for South America has not received the update yet.
Took an age but just downloaded Oreo. Will update after a few days of use!
Wife's H870 updated yesterday evening. I updated mine manually a few hours before using LG Bridge (I was on Fulmics 4.2, so it didn't want to OTA itself).

After almost a month's worth of use, I'm not noticing any difference in performance. Admittedly I'm still running the ROM with as many different things disabled/restricted due to the battery drain issue I had running Nougat. I'll have to see about performing a factory reset and see how well it performs.
Will keep you posted
I have got a v20b upgrade. It fix issues only. They could give US Oreo 8.1.0 with June patch.
Really v20b update with 8.1.0 oreon version. Some screen can you share.?

X.1 bump sometimes is more difficult than we might think. It's mostly new base, new API level, etc... I just hope they fixed most bugs, it's a pity you didn't take any screenshot of a changelog... ;/

Nothing new there.
According to the number of this update it's a minor ones. Perhaps we have an other one for the security patch.
The Xperia home is not update ? No option on it to select the new navigation system ? ?
Well let's see, Google has released its January Security updates for its phones ( https://www.xda-developers.com/january-2019-android-security-google-pixel/ ),
I flashed the the new update this morning and it was 2.60 gigabytes so that ruled out January's security update, as it still reads December and Sony likes to release their updates during the 3rd week of the month usually .. but it did remove the Bug file folder from its file ap.. and that's about all I can visually see...

I agree, though is it has been a shame. I have been one of the lucky ones where Sony has released Pie for the dual sim and Sony has left out some of the basic stuff from what I have read from Google, the rom in my case has work very well, the only thing I have really changed is the launcher from Sony stock one to a Pixel style one (Ruthless).
My XZ1c is still Oreo, last received update was 47.1.A.16.20 and my build is 1310-4290 (Customized DE). So far all updates were in the 150-300MB range (I think). This one is 1,5GB. After some googling I'm certain this is Pie update at least for those of us still on Oreo. I'll put it on hold until I read some feedback.

There are a lot of pie firmware versions for XZ1. Probably for XZ1c too. It's obviously Pie...no need to specify.

Prompted with Official OTA 9.0 update today

FWIW I got notified about what I assume is an official Pie update today. It's not the same version number as another post in here though:

To be honest, you're not missing anything ground breaking although I must admit almost everything that's different is a nice change. My one big exception:
Y the truck did they switch which side they put the time on? Ridiculous.
That said, the upgrade was the smoothest I think I've ever experienced for any OS, desktop or mobile, ever.
I run the Nova Launcher and the update has not interfered with that at all. So my preferred tweaks, apart from moving the bloody time, have all been preserved.
Perhaps the biggest promised feature I'd like to think will be legitimate is battery saving. No real indication of any ground breaking changes there so far though it's only been 24 hours ?
I do understand that it's not fun to be kept waiting and feel a bit left behind.

Looks like users are recieving Androit 10 OTA update in RETBR update channel. Build nr QPK30.51.
This could be beta, but it looks like not only MFN registered customers are getting the update.
Meantime, I saw that EURO RETAIL got PIE december patch update so I'm not sure what's going on.
Please fill me in if you have more info, if you recieved the update, or just want to talk about the update, Android 10 bugs, or whatever.

Good question. Beta program have been going on for quite some time now.
I wonder what's taking so long for Moto..
they just sent me another 9 security patch, I'm starting to think there will be no android 10 update for us.
Yup, just a security patch. I recently bought this phone in a hurry, and in my previous investigation I read somewhere the Motorola One would receive Android 10 at the second quarter of 2020, so I guess we'll have to wait. The Motorola Brazil reps said in Twitter there will be news for our device "pretty soon", but I guess that's just their standard answer.
