Terrible release.
The best solution are wait global stable version.

Terribile release?:Forme everything work fine and fast (after clean installation), Better than MIUI 10.
After root with Magisk 19.5 I have Just modified some parameters with EX Manager and I have non lag and no chras in any app

With EX Manager or similar just disable ZRam, set input boost frequency to 1324MHz and duration of Power 180 ms, readahead 768 kb and entropy 128. Finally, for to save battery, set the minimum freuenncy 1209 or 998MHz for little cores and 1536MHz for big cores. For me It work well

I installed MIUI 11 and it's basically a slower, buggy version of MIUI 10. Which is expected, since it's the first release. I'm sure xiaomi.eu will optimize the ROM soon enough. There's nothing there that interests me, though, I just wanted to see if there was any improvement in camera. There wasn't. So... back to AOSP, fast, fast.

Currently, I think it's a matter of personal preference. All AOSP ROMs available for our device are optimized to everyday use, although they all have a couple of issues. My personal preference goes to a combination: XenonHD + Okita Kernel. It's fast, stable and much cleaner than MIUI.

Sorri but I don't use substratum in MIUI, Just black theme and Lawnchair 2.0-2399 very smooth and with the best Google feed. Don't use even carousel but it works perfectly as MIUI 10

myself experience... tried all 6.0 roms and after that installed first aosp 5.1.1 v4 and next stock miui and compare to 6.0 when scrolling there was no lags or choppiness. It works as it should do. So I choose aosp 5.1.1 beacuse a prefer stock andorid look and feel.
I think that there is no source from xiaomi for android MM so 6.0 based roms cant be good as stock roms..

I won't agree with that. I also used some aosp 5.1.1, but can't remember which version now, and currently I'm using RR.
So let me share my opinion.
Miui has a very good cpu management. It is power savy, yet it speeds up the cores when more power is needed. However the performance is nowhere close to pure android roms, such as aosp or cm13.
Yes, they are both fast, but try to launch some apps with stopwatch running in the background. After launching few apps stop the stopwatch. Then launch the same apps on other rom (also with stopwatch). Digits (from the stopwatch) will show you the difference in performance. Btw, don't try to compare miui multitasking to pure android. Pure android will win this very easily.

Best Rom for battery life Redmi note 3 pro (snapdragon) ?!

Hey guys! I'm looking for a rom with a good battery! I used to have MIUI global stable and the battery was pretty awesome but i really prefer purer Android and i cant stand MIUI look (no offense)
is there any roms with a good battery life like the miui stable?? For example 8-9 Screen on time?!

after posting this i tried to set both CPU & GPU governors to powersave and it worked too good! it has no lag or a little in normal tasks and battery use is so awesome! it remained on 100% so long that i thought it is a bug! i just change kernel auditors profile when i want to play or do some thing heavy!
but i am still looking for the best battery friendly rom (after MIUI)!

you have to do it using "kernel Auditor" app and your phone has to be rooted! in my vase i flashed Santhosh's CM13, GApps & SuperSU Zip to easily root my phone!
you dont need a custom kernel! although custom kernels have more CPU & GPU governors!

Did not find any bugs but I am not a heavy or experienced user. Something I cannot control: Led Light colour
Also does not support the kernel denominator or radon (installed but I could pass through the lock screen).
I installed it, being in Miui8, unlocked (officially) bootloader.

Well yes, setting powersaving CPU governor is an option, but for me it resulted in many laggs (I'm a heavy user).
Btw. this 100% happens often. But it only applies to 100% charge, after that it will drop normally.

After my tests I would say no. It's stable, but SOT was worse than on MIUI 7.

Faster one is CrDroid and Smoother one AICP
Santosh's cm14 + any kernel with Dynamic fsync is the fastest imo (best latency )
Tesla is smooth but not as smooth as cm14 but stable & quite customizable ( substratum theme engine)
CitrusAOSP is the best on RAM usage (no bloat pure aosp) + faster than Tesla but a bit slower than santosh's cm14
Haven't tested the others
I base my testings on real life benchmarks: Discomark for app openings , androbench for latency & SQLite opérations , vellamo for speed benching.

No problem, friend. It will probably be the newest hardware variant. So you will need some patches to get fingerprint and cameras working with CM. I made it work with RR and it's flawless, except for VR quality that sucks. I'm moving to CM 14 that fixed that VR stuff but I couldn't make goodix fingerprint work on that still, cameras are fine on that btw.
If you need something, feel free to ask.
PS: You will love it. It's the best device for it's price and I love its design, my black one is so cool. lol

I personally like AICP because of nightlies and that you can be sure that you are going to get updates... some other rom may never get an update....
although some roms like Beanstalk are now less buggy than AICP....

Frankly I'd say xiaomi.eu ROM with stock kernel. I've tried different kernels, sphinx, malakas etc, each one actually provided worse performance than stock for me.
What I've found is .EU (version 9.6.27), plus the fde.ai Magisk module works beautifully in terms of performance and battery. I happen to like miui, but this is all personal choice

MIUI 11/12 with Custom Kernel vs Custom ROM with/without Custom Kernel

Hello!
I have a question, it's so simple just like the topic titles.
Anyone who use or maybe experiencing. Can you tell me which one really suits your need? Maybe MIUI 11/12 with Custom Kernel on Gaming or just some daily social media use on Custom ROM and Kernel.
I want to gather people opinions here.
So, please reply! [emoji4]

Great!
Do you have any deep sleep issue (ie, phone remains continuously awake and never goes to deep sleep mode despite screen off and no app running??
Pls confirm. (Any kernel manager/ Better battery stats etc can show you the deep sleep status)

I suggest you to try first to root stock MIUI and flash custom kernel first and then you judge if you want to go more customized but with bugs or stay stable with great battery and performance

I am not looking for customisation. I am looking for stable Custom ROM like LOS or PE.
That's the most stable rom for me
But yeah I gotta test it on MemeUI11 or 12 later with rooted and custom ROM.

With stock MIUI Yes
I've been using de-bloated MIUI 11 (Locked Bootloader) since long. Its been working quite nicely.
But lately the battery life has really been degraded over time.
-So i was thinking to flash NGK on MIUI , & would really love to know your @magaedy review regarding the battery life, issues & stability.
- Also after flashing the custom kernel, i would not be able to install MIUI OTA updates, or there's a workaround

OTA is still working but you will repeat root and recovery steps after each ota
For performance and battery they are excellent both of them with no tiny issue
